HRHQueenPhil:You should be smarter than this in life, it will enhance your possibilities of survival and also know that reposting a silly take 10,000 times don't make it any less infantile. Whichever moral code you're picking your forgiveness from, there's no religion that advises exposing yourself to the unrepentant after forgiving their recalcitrance. He should forgive but wedding's off. And your other "men did this, men used to do that..." stance suggests you should work on yourself, dunno who hurt you but damn, your a mess in there. Anyways, have a nice life, ciao |

Politics / Re: Nigerian Man In Trouble With His US Employer After Color Shaming A Lady. by chachanga: 8:20am On Jun 22, 2021 |
Probably thought he'd get away with sneaking a quick snark at the poor lady only to find he'd jammed a confident, independent and well-adjusted woman. He deserves whatever they books they throw at him. From body shaming to classist b!tching and tribalist name-calling all day long in Nigerian forums, he honed his skills in Nigeria and like quite some uncouth louts, he didn't leave his gutter-brains there. If she presses charges further and it costs him his papers, he should go tell his folks back in Ikeja what took him back to Naija. So many of you strutting around these your forums yapping at everyone you meet online feeling funky like you're untouchable just because this internet ghetto of a forum offers you the pass to exist with you toxicities intact, well when you come out here if you ever get the chance, you learn to be cultured, quiet or you'll lose out big time. YouWillNotWin: Just leave them be. The very fact that they're not getting it speaks volumes. I logged in here last two months too I think and there was a case of some South West actor who molested a minor going on. I was mortified to see the massive support being given to the guy, I was like OMG, these folks don't know they've allowed their environments to so shape their worldviews that they've become the very evils some of them first decried long ago. Almost no thread here without name-calling, tribal slurs, ethnic jingoism and abuses getting traded with random peeps making totally weird jumped-up assumptions without antecedents about one another, boy it's a mess, and this is Nigeria's largest online gathering of young minds? Business, Property, Travels, Investment and a few other Sections feel better and more peaceful though and conveys the impression that those with intellectual capital congregate there more than these rather soft-sell issues that many insular empty-barrels would always think they've got opinions flock to flex their non-existent mental muscles. Leave them be... 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: Jonathan Vatsa: Buhari’s Body Language Fuels Tension In South-East, South-West by chachanga: 6:04pm On Jun 21, 2021 |
It's still a wonder how some APC stalwarts, core Northerners and elder statesmen with names, histories and legacies are speaking up and calling for caution with the Nigerian government's current policy directions and implementations yet some other set of southern hungry Party rats hiding behind cheap phones keep swearing loyalty to the same lost cause everyone is decrying. It's a wonder...I just wonder which kind of air they're inhaling in that country. 2 Likes |
Romance / Re: Ugandan Married Woman Gets Stuck To Her Lover During Sex (Pictures) by chachanga: 7:30am On Jun 17, 2021 |
greencard: Leave the Mumu pple. They just pronounce general opinions on every case without hard data to prove otherwise. Penis captivus is supposed to be brought on and/or further exacerbated by stress, fear, nervousness etc. And 90% of published research works on it state that it is so rare here in the West that documenting has been hard, so it's been confined to the stuff of urban legends. Yet here we have loads and loads of folks boinking one another every which way daily, so so many people having crazy wild extramarital sexxx, getting their groove on to every imaginable kink, some wouldn't even touch you with a ten-foot pole if you're not guaranteed to let them practice all their nasty risky sexxx fetishes on you...yet they never get stuck together! Why Africa then? On timing and duration, penis captivus, by the published science that phools in Nairaland are swearing by, is to last for a few seconds, not more than a few minutes in extremely rare cases. Well, is that the case in Africa? Nooo! These guys get stuck and agonise for long enough for neighbours, the Police, sangomas/herbalists, TV news crews and even the offended spouses to come around? What makes the African one unique? Especially East Africa where it happens regularly. Physiology wise, African occurrences also defies the logic of penis captivus. Penis captivus is noted to resolve via muscle relaxation, either naturally or via injecting the female with a muscle relaxant to get her cage muscles loose enough to let go of the poor harassed joystick within. Increase in muscular tension prolongs the experience. Now, check out this documented case, was it not the husband who came to "release them"? Which wife will get more relaxed, being seen naked with another man's d!CK stuck in her deephole while the whole town is watching?! Would she be able to relax for captivus to ease, of course not. Again, why only cheating married partners involved always? Are unmarried chicks with even tightee pvssies not cheating too? Or college students? And nervous fumbling teenagers, shey those ones no dey knack again?! Why is it there in documented African (Yoruba especially) that the female can be "afflicted" in some way that makes her a walking time-bomb of penis captivus? Why the similarities in those stories all the way from West to East Ave South Africa and not one extra account implies that the man make be a carrier of that misfortune? Long write up, but me I feel there's so much more to the African experience of this thing as it is with so so many things that everyday continental Africans overlook in their rich heritage, both good and bad. Somebody could just document this a bit and pester a few human health research bodies to get grants to come to Africa to study this phenomena now, that's money, that's recognition, that's a published work however little but will that someone be African, I doubt it. Gambit23: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/325940 https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-sex/penis-captivus https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-25827175.amp Have you asked why the African prevalence instead of parroting the general sketchy research orthodoxy prescribed by the West? What about the ascribed presumed intentionality of its originsi.e. commonality of the view that it can be induced in two partners by a neutral 3rd party? Whether spiritual curses or no, y'all overlook so so much on that continent. There are scientific reasons we're still rigidly observing Covid-19 safety regulations and on partial lockdown here but you're running around literally breathing in one another's mouths there with no protections, nothing! It's not far from the minute peculiar variations in African genetic makeup. My main point is reasons for that penis captivus phenomena frequency in Africa (especially East Africa) and scarcity here is rooted in what hasn't been documented yet. Don't just parrot what a white guy wrote down in 1983, discover yourselves, that's where you power lies, that's the way to your elusive Wakanda. Don't dismissively assume so much. |

thebosstrevor1: From most of the comments, one sees that the sad and seemingly unending Nigerian imbroglio has succeeded in spawning a present generation that cannot reason analytically but only rant emotionally while wallowing in their problems. Was Abiola or any of our other key powerbrokers sinless saints? They fall to see that all through the writing of the history of this country, the hands of the elites have always held the pens while the masses run the danger of having their fortunes written or scrubbed off so easily by the same men they deify. |

TalkTalkTwins: How should they help? Can you enumerate 5 ways you think they can help to curb this type of crime? Note that they can't turn to spirits that will anticipate possible breakdown of good relations leading to life-endangerment between any two random people across all houses, streets, wards, senatorial districts, local governments, States and geopolitical zones of Nigeria as the same time within the framework of the current state of social injustices you have in Nigeria? Till you restore social justice via voting in credible, competent, conscientious and creative teams of technocrats who have proven industry track-records of success based on solid policy documents (not all those your usual bread-&-butter 2-2k vote-selling electioneering processes); until you can do that, you won't be able to restore masses trust in government, you won't be able to set your country back on its feet and frankly everything will go to sh!ts from your present dilemma to full-scale Rwanda type where even your security forces will be overwhelmed. Help yourselves. This culture of everybody trying to blame everybody else don't seem to be working. |

limeta: Enough of what? Didn't Yoruba Christians vote MKO Abiola in to power on a Muslim/Muslim Ticket with his then Baba Gana Kingibe running mate? A mandate secured through the overwhelming support of Christians all over the country but callously and dismissively annulled by a Northern Muslim? If many on this forum are too young to relate to that, what of another recent case history? Didn't Yoruba Christians vote enmasse to get Buhari, a Fulani Muslim, in and Jonathan, a Southern Christian, out? Or is the efforts of people like Pastor Tunde Bakare, Redeemed Church pple & co. going to be ingratuitously forgotten now just because a mute point needs to be made? So I might be wrong but what exactly have southern Muslims gotten tired of especially considering how much of a control tool religion is for the rich rulers in manipulating their poor followers in Nigeria?! |

maasoap: Typical of the insular Nigerian. Always obsessing over semantics in futility while living in deluded denial of reality like your leaders and their peurile games with adjectives. Anyway, tell your objections to your leaders, lawmakers and faulty system which you'd aided and are still mollycoddling. One that covertly and overtly prioritised cattle over human lives. And where is that done if not the dairy farm. Your Stockholm syndrome is so ripe that your minds are walking bags of every cognitive dissonance known to man. If only Nigeria had more of his type per State, politicians and evil rulers would have less hiding places for punishing and using the weak and lowly. I pray he gets past this so his detractors have nothing to use against him and also join you in saying HOLY GHOST FIRE to his numerous downfall seekers. |
Programming / Re: Thinking Of Dropping Out Of College To Focus On Programming by chachanga: 6:02pm On May 27, 2021 |
Don't drop out. I take it you're in Nigeria. Dropping out anywhere's got its baggages but doing it in Naija is bound to take a heavier toll on you. It's a much harsher environment to try drop out without your peeps consent and bills to pay. Take a project-oriented approach. Face your core programming and grow in it but try studying your environment and building robust but nifty solutions in response to societal needs around you. Some of these could get you known, fetch you good cheese to upgrade your workstation, engage better research etc. Outsource your skills and stretch yourself to deliver. That's building your capacity to multitask. You'll need to lean on that more and more as time advances. Scout around your campus and get programming geeks like you. Build your team with your own rules of engagement but don't be an a$$ about it. Let love for programming be your baseline requirement and aspire to do bigger things. Lastly, be open to good options and LIVE. You're still young. Go with God, young Padawan! 4 Likes
