then why is it soooo bloody costly?
@^^ Well, Nigerians love and appreciate/ascribe value to "bloody costly" products/services. It is a national misguided culture sad.

Indians are the most immoral people on this earth - they are even more immoral than Nigerians!
Gbam+1000 wink.
Do so called Nigerian elite know this? Definitely Not, but they recruit them to front and do their "dirty" deals for them. The Lebanese are a million times more honourable than the Indians and Pakistani. Please check out who are the very close associates of our so called business elite and Politicians?. They are actually in control of our economy and our political class hence whenever they're deported another group of politicians allows the same people back(vaswani) et al. Nigeria is not a nation yet hence anything goes. There is no emotional attachment to anything worthwhile by our so called leadership. Much of their properties abroad are sourced and managed by Indians and Pakistani. It is not a surprise that one of Ibori's front men, adviser/lawyer(Indian) was also jailed in U.K.. It runs very deep and our elite inferiority complex knows no bounds shocked.
Foreign AffairsRe: Germany Refuse To Apologize For Satanic Genocide Against The Namibians by cheikh:
@Op-
The Germans or as a matter of fact Europeans, will never apologise let alone acknowledge their wickedness towards Africans. Africans are not exactly viewed as equally human enough, as to elicit any measure of moral outrage or compulsion to have a change of heart. It is not in their nature to do so nor within the realm of comprehension for them to empathise with Africans. Africans are no where near as European as Jews are racially, hence it is very far fetched to expect any contrition from the natural enemies of the African. It is foolhardy of Africans to be pleading for something that will never happen. You only have to interview some of the descendants of the Germans perhaps Nazis, who are now citizens/settlers of Namibia to fully appreciate their inherent mind set and their perception of Africans(Namibians). The original experiments of what was to happen to the Jews et al later in Europe were carried out on Namibians first but that aspect of our African history is hardly acknowledged let alone robustly taught in schools anywhere in Africa. Deliberate ignorance seem to be our lot.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israeli Violence And Racism Against African Immigrants by cheikh: 8:47pm On Jun 04, 2012
@Op --- Well, a lot of people forget that Israel is an exact and worse replica of apartheid South Africa of old. It is a shame that a lot of Tropical Africans have this innate goodwill towards her which is not borne out of reality or good historical judgement whatsoever.

Which means that if you just want to wear the hair the way God gave you, you would be seen as making a political statement, regardless of whether you are political or apolitical. Which is sad because Brazilians with straight hair can wear their hair the way it is and not be worried about making some sort of statement which is not the same for Brazilians with afro hair. Because blackness is hated so much in the country, wearing an afro is seen as extreme.
@^^ Well, it is sad but perhaps your statement may be right in the minds of the uninformed "elite" white Brazilians who invariably are the employers most of the times. Black/Africans are at the bottom of the food chain sadly.

See a young man who isn't even sure of his first Degree
Challenging a double Phd holder. GEJ was a lecturer when this dude was in kindergarten.

GEJ has been the deputy governor, the governor and now the president, not this guy's mate.

People should know how to protest.
@^^ It is free speech and not about blind/ignorant deference to buffoonery. "Phd" has not done us any good so far. You are definitely dazzled by certificates/titles. What a shame sad shocked.

So if you let your hair grow naturally, it's a 'Black Power' hairstyle? I'm glad I wasn't born in Brazil. Shame
@^^ No sis, it's not about black power or anything political. Brazilians inherently have an aversion for blackness. Even the black people to you and I, would classify/identify their racial origin as anything else but black. The racial classification of citizens(Brazilians) is vast and it is official too. Nobody wants to be classified as Black shocked sad.

It would seem that Asari views Presidency as an end goal for the Ijaw.

Presidency that does nothing to address our core desire to control our own resources is a Presidency of Poverty
@^^ Well, do they know it? Ignorance, wretchedness/poverty and total lack of awareness of the Nigerian political sphere have caused a massive delusion . Anyway, he doesn't have much time before he is taken out if his cohorts like E. Clark don't call him to order. Insanity or ignorance is no excuse in "warfare" cool.

Asari and his ignorant cohorts actually see/view the Presidency as an end goal for the Ijaw. It's a shame indeed. They lack political sophistication/awareness of the true essence of Power if they seem to be dazzled with mere rituals, office and crumbs shocked. Poverty can actually damage a people forever.

SMH! Since the first Angolan and Congolese Africans touched Brazilian soil as a result of slavery, racism in Brazil against blacks was the way of life. Even today despite the fact that Brazil boasts the country with the largest black population in the "New World", that anti-black fo0lishness is still prevalent. In fact many of them denied being black for a long time. After seeing the "black pride" movements of African Americans and Caribbeans, now Afro. Brazilians realize they are just as important and beautiful as any other race in that country. I am just very proud of them for finally standing up for their rights to be proud of their heritage.

After all, Brazil wouldn't have the spice it does without them.
(
@^^ Well, it's kind of difficult for them, given the insidious nature of the latin(Portuguese) oppression they are living under. There is a total blackout of positive foreign(African world) information besides the usual (staples) negative news. The Portuguese language does not lend itself easily to open and easy communication intercourse between the inside(Brazil) and the outside world- especially between our people still held captive in the whole of latin America. The place is truly terrible and difficult for the (Africans) in Brazil and indeed South America. The Caribbean and North America were "lucky" with the impact of Haitian revolution grin cool. Brazil had its own version of internal(African) revolts but they did not have the same kind of far reaching impact like the Haitian revolution locally and internationally too.

On a second thought, why are the so called traders there in the first place? With the bombings, one would have thought that Southerners would have left the North.
@^^ so you now believe that the country is now divided(no-go areas)/north and south). If according to the above opinion from you, why would you not support the break up of the country? We are already living separately in practice as the unintended consequence of internal national insecurity and incapacity to police the crises pervasive in the country. As a citizen, you have the right to live and work anywhere as a Nigerian without fear or hinderance. It is your right despite the inherent "dangers" or else lazy politicians and citizens should be discussing the dissolution of the country honestly/amicably.

People like you call Late Nzeogwu and Igbo man (Which truely he was without shame) because he lead a coup, but you forget he was from Asaba. Thank God you could acknowlege Asaba man in Delta state is Igbo.
@^^ No, Nzeogwu is from Okpanam about a kilometre away from Asaba. It is because most of the military officers from the Igbo speaking areas of Delta state "claim" to come from Asaba, hence the added vengeful/ vindictive reason for the infamous massacre/genocide of the people of Asaba by the so called Federal Nigeria Soldiers fighting to keep Nigeria One.

GEJ is an incompetent, moronic, crook. The sooner all Nigerians smell this coffee, the better.
Why would Nigerians smell "this" coffee? Nigerians know what the "deal" is, so no complaints about lucky Joe-"if I can make it, you can make it". Nigerians are masochists hence Lucky Joe is so self absorbed and with his political/spiritual adviser(Clarke), he is being advised to go for 2015, as if a day longer in office is not too long already. He's very much a Nigerian like the rest of us- Corrupt, apathetic, lazy and inherently insensitive.

So it is true Education have finally failed and gone to the dogs in Nigeria! huh SMH sad.

Fools ruled by fools, hence the so called youths are so gullible and messed up mentally. Did P-sqaure actually make such claim? Why are Nigerians so gullible, presumptuous and easily impressed by "crass materialism"/consumption? Nigerians must be very wretched and poor indeed.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Rate Mikel Obi's Performance In The Champions League Final by cheikh:
livapul86
I didn't want to comment but I think some of you guys need a thorough education on the roles of a professional player. You chatised Mikel's one touch pass game without understanding that Mikel is basically retaining possession. As long as the opponent doesn't have the ball, his team can build up play. To most of you denouncing Mikel, your idea of a good player is someone that can take the ball and dribble 10 players and score. You fail to understand that there is as much job if not greater, to a solid CDM who is responsible for breaking the attacking forays of his opponent, finding those little spaces to link with the rest of his team mates. The Stats don't lie, Mikel is credited with the most passes and interceptions than any other Chelsea player. I watched the Barca's match( 2nd leg) twice to believe the Stats I saw. Mikel made more blocks than any other Chelsea player in that match.
With regards to yesterday's match, he was Phenomenal. In all 120mins, he only made one wrong pass and that was because Ryan Betrand failed to run. Please lets learn to give credit when it is due. Am a proud Liverpoolfc fan, I can say Mikel has been at his best in the latter stages of this year's Champions league.
@^^ Gbam!+100.
You clearly understand the essence of football(science). It's because most Africans don't understand the full concept/science of modern football hence we never go far in world football as teams, despite producing some of the most "gifted/finest" individual footballers(dribblers) in the world as if that's what football is about. We'll continue to fail as "teams" on the world stage because of our "street style" football mentality of what a good/bad footballer is. Mikel was actually adjudged by the knowledgeable European pundits on tv, as one of the best on the day. Mourinho and Ferguson are not blind nor ignorant in football as to fight over Mikel's signature. Everyone was thinking that Essiene's gra gra style of football without brains is good footie, but that is not what a serious coach looks for in order to accomplish a task(cup finals) with appropriate personnel hence Mikel is constantly used nowadays just like during the time of Mourinho. They certainly know/see something in Mikel's abilities most Naija football novices will never appreciate let alone understand. He is pretty good and sticks to the task he's designated by his manager to do. That's modern football style not aimless silly fancy dribbling.

@^^ Represent where Naija? Go and ask those before him who did, what is their recognition/reward. Some here have already displayed their dislike/hate for him despite not knowing him on a personal level. Nigerians want glory but don't know how to praise or reward genuine achievers. Bad bele is our lot sad.

Op. I get one small question to ask.
Where the 10ft fence. You know that that openess is just an invitation for those Rambo wannabes to pay you a courtesy visit.
Apart from that. It sure is possible. I have seen something similar to photo 3 around GRA in Mando, Kaduna.
@^^ Does 10ft fence or such ugly monstrosities deter/prevent "Rambo wannabes" paying you a determined courtesy visit? We should think creatively and get away from our "prison" and military era inspired mentality. Nigeria is not like South Africa and will never be mindlessly violent like her people.
PoliticsRe: My Resistance To Action Congress Of Nigeria’s Forced Conscription - Mimiko by cheikh: 5:17pm On May 19, 2012

ACN just wants everyone to believe that they are the only good alternative out there for southwest.
@^^ It's such "herd"/ follow follow mentality, by some Southwest politicians and followers that undermine "democracy". It allows for the general "gross" impression, that the Southwest politics is ethnically based/motivated ever since Awo's time, because disparate opinions/views does not seem to be tolerated or accepted amicably unlike in other political zones in Nigeria hence the usual blood bath/violence/crises in the old and new Southwest. If only they can tone down their hollow headed critisms/rhetorics of their political opponents and concentrate on their own "actions/positive" service to their constituency just like Fashola is doing in Lagos state and the Servant leader in Niger state. Politics is not "Do or Die" affair. Ironically, It is very shameful that it is a prominent son of the Southwest, a former President(OBJ) that proclaimed/affirmed" such inane philosophy of "Do or Die" politics, as an "acceptable" face of Nigerian(Southwest) political life(sphere) in recent times just like the bad old days of the first republic. I hope that politicians like Mimiko and Fashola will be the norm and true acceptable face of positive politics in Naija(southwest). We don't have to hold the same opinions/views nor share the same "style" in doing things but Service and Results we can see, should be paramount at all times in our(Politicians) actions/vision.

Bro you are right! cool

Now I want to know;which brand of politics is more ''sophisticated'' ? Is it mimiko/labour party or aregbesola/acn ?
@^^ Well, you can figure that out yourself by comparing his(Mimiko) political philosophy/thoughts with that of so called "big" men/women of the ACN and other political parties in Nigeria. Human beings make, populate and determine the general direction/worldview of a political party. "Birds of the same feather flock together".

Im Yoruba and Im naturally attracted to Igbo men. I get approached by Igbo men more than Yoruba men. Anywho, I think they are very very handsome, and they know how to treat a lady in my own opinion!!!
@^^ Maybe, wink your looks and mannerisms intimidate Yoruba men or confuse them. Anyhow, you're on the right track to "snatching" an eligible Igbo man from the grasp of their women. I like such competition of the heart/bed room grin grin. I wish you well in your encounters and love quests with your potential suitors Igbo men or not. Your openness to other Nigerian ethnic groups will surely make you a better "whole" person indeed. You'll definitely go far in life with your broadmindedness towards people. Maybe our unity as a people should begin in the bedroom first of all wink grin. You are already a winner cool.
