Romance / Re: When She Promises To Come Over But Refuses To Show Up by cheruv: 4:28pm On Jan 14, 2020
For me I like it when a girl is straightforward with you... If it won't work she'd tell you upfront that it won't. I respect such girls kos their no is no and yes is yes.
That's how one idiot from GSU then kept me waiting... Agreed the previous day that we'd see when she comes back from clearance the next day... Called her the next day around one, still in school; around three, still in school; around five kwa still in school.... Called her by seven she didn't pick!
Since then she hasn't picked my calls... Not like I gave a damn anyways, simply unfriended the idiot and deleted her number.
In the South the girls pick your call after that day, but in the North they'd never pick your call again when they misbehave

Oh Lord, please let a war break out in Nigeria between Muslims and Christians in 2020.I don't mind being a victim. I'm sick of this thing called hatred. If it is not Yoruba versus Igbo, it will be Igbo versus Hausa or all of them versus one another.Oh Lord, let the war start as soon as January 2020.So that there will be peace after more than half of the population is dead and the remaining half will become living-dead . Let the winner take all. Perhaps, when the population of the people living in Nigeria is just 2 million, peace will reign.
I the Lord of Spirits have heard thee...
See, I shall lay waste to whatever remains... And on top these ruins I'd raise an emperor after my name, in the mold of Dovida who shall break the gates of iron and pull down the minarets of brass...
Have I said anything and it doesn't come to pass?

In all these... The one that appeal to me is the breakup aspect.
Nigeria would continue to burn until it breaks up... Another thing I'd ask the Lord of Spirits to do is shorten the time for Nigeria's break-up.

Politics / Re: Opinion Poll Shows Overwhelming Igbo Majority Wants Biafra by cheruv: 10:39am On Dec 30, 2019
Of course this is the reality... 9/10 of all Igbos want Independence, either as biafra or a homogeneous Ìgbò state. Our political leaders know this too, but the crumbs they get from Abuja won't make them fall in line until the Ìgbò peasantry makes them fall in line!

When officers start grumbling kos of "perceived" injustices like this then it's really time to effect changes... It is quite lame to say that bkos we're in a state of war, there should be no changes.. Even gowon did so during the war in 1969 in the aftermath of operation OAU in which the biafran southern command neutralized the offensives of the third division, causing it to loss almost 90% of its preoffensive strength. Gowon changed the commanders of the three armies fighting Biafra, making the war end early the next year.
Buhari should keep his nepotistic tendencies aside and change those men, to forestall a situation where a coup/mutiny happens or that soldiers refuse to fight and the enemy sweeps down to capture Abuja.

nwike or wike is not an issue. In igbo, some people answer okpala while some spelled opala, nwagbala wagbala, all are the same depending on the area.
The spell the hausa and yoruba cast on the igbos is gradually fading away. It's a matter of time we unite and erase all those Rumu and return it to Umu.
The insult the great igbo race is receiving from those micro tribes in the ss is becoming unbearable.

Politics / Re: Who Are The Majority In Delta State, Urhobo, Itsekiri Or Igbos? by cheruv: 6:40am On Aug 10, 2019
horsepower101:
Indigenously, I think it’s Urhobo, but Anioma land has seen the influx of igbos from all over igbo land come an join them over the years. This has boosted the population of Anioma igbos.

Asaba saw the biggest influx but other surrounding anioma towns and villages are also witnessing the influx of igbos from all over.

We need Anioma state which should have been created 30 years ago.

Anịọma was depopulated sort of during the flu years 1919-1921, shortly after coming out from defeat in the ekumeku war(1883-1914)...so it is necessary that Igbos from the densely populated SE move in to boost their population and strengthen the anịọma identity.

JOMAX:
Bayelsa with 8 LGAs feeds Kano with 44 LGAs yet Bayelsans are hungry with poor infrastructure. Even the NDDC is controlled by the North and to syphon more money for infrastructural development in the North there is now a North-East development commission to be funded by oil money. Whearas solid minerals from the north and farm produce and cattle remains the exclusive preserves of the North. IS THAT FAIRNESS? SHUT UP ALREADY PMB

Before you quote me think hard. I spent a decade of my life I'm Kano but lost everything to religious crisis and recently in Port Harcourt a leader of Hausa community despite expressing my self to him openly told me we are not one Nigeria. Just cut the chase.
I think that that hausa leader should be bottled for telling stiff-necked Southerners like you the naked truth... Moreover it's good you didn't lose your life along with your properties then, or else you'd not be alive to convince others on the stupidity of one Nigeria cool

In Igbo the pronouns stand alone while the verb actor "I/ị" is written together with the following verb. This makes reading it easier...
Ị bịa (You come)
Ịbịa (to come)

Education / Re: Is Medicine And Surgery Worth All The Admission Stress? by cheruv: 7:14pm On May 22, 2019

Looking back to what I went through and what I’m doing with my license and skills now, I’ll say It’s worth the stress. It’s still one of the professions where children of nobody can still stand shoulder to shoulder with those of the elites.
You have points in ur write up though, I’ll still want to encourage whoever is interested in studying medicine to do so.
Forget the stress. Forget the miserable salaries being paid to us in Nigeria.
For the records, this happens mostly to doctors during a particular phase in their practice ( residency or juniors medical officer).
If you have any doctor struggling with life around you, advice him/her to tissue. It mayn’t be easy at first but it’s gonna worth the stress eventually. It’s a world of unlimited opportunities out there for us, you only need to explore.
That's a wisdom quote you've got there... Am even preparing myself to tissue sef, and with ngige's encouragement we'd do so successfully cool

Review my comments in the African context and the dots will connect.
Some people like the guy you were arguing with never cease to amaze me.
So bkos we're educated/civilized, we should then fold our hands and allow barbarians slit our throats Maybe that's why Asiatics would always be taken more serious than Africans.

Too bad Sha that this happened... grin
But seriously I'd blame the guy... You saw signs that you were hanging out with an "akwụna"... Yet you persisted kos you felt you loved her and she showed you that she has "changed"... Some guys are just too stupid when it comes to women cheesy
Another way am looking at it is that God used this incident to expose your so called wife to you so that you can finally be free of her and her harlotry... Kos if this hadn't happened this way, you might end up answering father for someone else's biological children.
That's why I always say, "loving women is a foolish endeavor men seek to embark on.. women are meant to be controlled not loved". undecided
