Stinking hypocrisy!!!
If the ikwerres being Igbo is subject to controversy... Then the '66 coup is also subject to controversy. In my view.. Until the Anioma are reunited with the SE, the Jan '66 coup should always be known as an SS coup 19 Likes 3 Shares |

fistonati: In as much as I totally condemned Kanus act's and utterances, I totally condemned the Soldiers invasion and acts in that region. The Oyinbos are part of the problems Nigeria faced today simply because of their selfish interests.
No reasonable government or institution will allow any of its affiliates to cede from its as such action will serve as weakness of that government and as such weaken the government.
The grave mistake Olusegun Obasanjo in ceding the Oil rich Bakkasi peninsula to Cameroon shows how weak we are as a nation but no one from the international community raised eye brow because of economic growth that the action meant for the Western countries. Such mistake must never repeat itself in Nigeria. Germany parted ways at a time but Germany realised it's mistake quickly and come back again as one and now Germany has the largest and the best Economy in Europe. Korea was intruded and both are now paying the ugly price for the cheap actions of theirs. Sudan despite its Oil potentials allowed itself to be manipulated and it's leaders were brainwashed , till date Sudan has never experience peace. The list goes on.
The larger and bigger a nation is , the more it's respected.
This should serve as advise for Nnamdi Kanu, to desist and apologise to Nigerians for his acts, utterances and mistakes and stop putting his people at severe risks they're currently subjected to.
United we stand. Divided we fall. ONE NIGERIA. When talking talk intelligently kos you don't get to meet those dunces you're used to everyday!! Korea and Germany are 99% homogeneous... That's why they made every effort to come back together after the split brought about by WW2. Sudan is just like Nigeria in all respects... Just as the Fulani minority are lording it over us here is how the Arab minority lorded it over them there before southerners under John Garang rebelled in 1983. Nigeria is bound irrevocably on the Sudanese route.. And its just a matter of time before she breaks up like Sudan did. 3 Likes |

This just the usual empty chest beating. Biafra is a legitimate cause but the approach being used byNK is totally wrong.
If they resurface, hope you will be able to withstand the heat switch you TV to the current crisis going on in Myanmar A few rohingya attack the country military 400000 of them are now refugee in Bangladesh.
Do you know what the UN is doing about is. They are speaking English at the UN and Pleading with the government to stop.
Mind you they are not rushing to attack with military.
That will be the fate of the SE if they try arming. You maybe in faraway Lagos but do you consider your friends and family st home before chest beating Comparing Biāfra to the rohingya ish is just stupid in all its ramifications... Igbos are in their ancestral land which they've occupied for the last 4000years while Rohingyas are Bengalis that were imported into Myanmar during its colonization by the British (1824-1960). The rohingyas were left behind when the British departed in 1960,so its right the Myanmar govt ask the the people who came with the British to go with the British. If Igbos arm, Nigeria is finished... Even Chad and Cameroon would take that opportunity to invade and annex Nigerian territory |

magoo10: Proponents of the oct1 quit notice order will be smiling now as carrying out their acts against perceived targets will crystalize as the days goes by.
As long the Nigeria army continue to intimidate the Igbo's in the southeast the people will continue to vent their anger on the Hausa's in the east thereby triggering a reprisal in the north, this is a deliberate ploy by the arewa arm of the Nigeria army to make the oct1st deadline a reality.
the Nigeria army must as a matter of urgency pull out her men and quickly demilitarize the southeast region if not the federal govt should be held responsible for any violence that may erupt in the coming days.
Only fellas ignorant of history would clap at this piece of info you tendered. Many brutal massacres have been preceded by "peace moves" which using hindsight have been much more like a smokescreen to the actual events. I'd not be surprised to wake up on independence day and hear of massacres whose ferocity would make those of Sept 66 look like child's play. |

Those lands claimed by the Serbians aren't actually theirs
The Igbos will suffer more disaster than the Serbians if we fail to keep to our Con federal system and try to oppress them. If Serbia in 1919 had stuck with the unification of the kingdoms of Serbia and Montenegro into a bigger Serbia probably under the karadjordjevs, with cession of Serb majority areas in Bosnia to it, Serbia would've survived the Nazi onslaught intact! The Nazis allied with the Croats and Slovenes based on their previous Habsburg nostalgia to tear Yugoslavia apart... Which is what I want Igbos to avoid by keeping out non Igbo speaking tribes from the program |

HiddenShadow: Hausa Fulani controlled Federal Government thinks that they can cow the Igbos
What befell the Serbians will be child play to what will befall those who think they can threaten the Igbos with guns. I love Serbia... But the worst mistake they did was to agree to the unification of all south Slavs under the karadjordjevic dynasty. After the great war in 1919, they'd have simply asked for all ethnic Serb territories and left the Croats and the Slovenes to sort themselves out with the kingdom of Hungary.... And exactly the mistake the Serbs made in 1919 is what Igbos are making through IPOB by including non Igbo speaking tribes in Biāfra. All that the Serbs gained in 1919 was lost in 1991.. They even lost more than self. I hope Igbos don't make that mistake ![undecided](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/undecided.png) |

ApexPredator: With better funding they'll even look more impressive. My Ideal Biafra is a militarized state with high levels of order and discipline, and minimal levels of hedonism and degeneracy. We should aim to surpass the glory of Rome, Sparta and the 3rd Reich. Every citizen shall be proficient in firearms and there shall be compulsory military service. Rome built on the military glory of Sparta... The Reich III built on the military glory of Napoleon I. I'd also support the building of a Democratic Spartan state.. Which would be highly militarized and the population of 40M(current Igbo population worldwide) can be put under arms in 48 hrs in cases of national emergency. Even though the US has appropriated the legacy of Rome, I'd say let's also appropriate it too. The Igbo population is 80% Catholic, so I don't see what stops us from extending the legacy of Rome to other facets of Igbo life...I'd even support the rise of an Igbo Sizaa(Caesar) because it'd bring order to a chaotic Igbo political life 2 Likes |
