I have being in one of the northern states for sometime now but nothing seems to be working. The state is dry, no jobs. The highest job one can see is Security job with very little pay.

Recently, i have being getting job interview invites from Lagos but my concern is that i have to travel, attend the interview & probably have to travel back waiting for possible calls if at all i succeed. If you don't have anything doing at the moment. I will suggest you take. I know of someone that was in the same situation as you are. She was finally promoted. So you won't be in the position forever. It is a stepping stone to a higher position.
Also have a plan. How many years do you want to stay on a marketing position.

Really cheap education? The fact it is cheap for you doesn't mean it was smooth for other people. There are people who had to struggle to pay this cheap education you are referring to. You also can't compare the system here to the USA. Nigerians are not running away from paying tax. The question is will the money be put into making the country a better place for citizens to stay and not Japa?

I just hope you are not like our politicians who say A and do the opposite. Hope you wish same for your ward who is in the nursing or medical profession. That they also stay 10 years in a country where the Government doesn't even care about its citizens.

It's a choice. There are people willing to stay back in Nigeria regardless of the situation and there are also some who crave for a better life because they have dependents looking up to them. You don't just sit down and make decisions on behalf of others. I hope you are also based in Nigeria.
