Alwaysachick: I don't think so, they gave judgment with the supposed evidence.
PDP as at then had no case in court, so they didnt fault in any way. But its let for PDP now to proof beyond reasonable doubt that Hope's numbers were falsified. The time for that has closed now, the Supreme Court has given its judgement and it can’t be reviewed or appealed! |

unite4real: CBN tweet is very straight forward. It did not make mention of BOTH anywhere, instead it says ONLY.
It simply says
"ONLY TRANSFERS INTO DOMICILIARY ACCOUNTS CAN BE TRANSFERRED FROM SUCH ACCOUNTS WHILE CASH DEPOSITS INTO SUCH ACCOUNTS CAN ONLY BE WITHDRAWN IN CASH" The tweet didn’t say anything about withdrawing electronic transfers. It simply talked about transferring cash deposits. You can still withdraw electronic transfers, but only electronic transfers can be transferred out |

ChristianNorth: Exactly what I said. Reversing its judgement in Bayelsa will make the court lose what makes it final.
In IMO, we are not asking the court to set aside itself but to enforce its earlier judgment that declared Nwosu as the rightful candidate of APC.
This automatically will return Ihedioha.
PDP is coming The Supreme Court clearly asked for Uzodimma to be sworn in. It can not reverse itself. Stop cherry picking. Imo is done and dusted |

zamirikpo: Bia, bia......am just seeing this , what kind of stupid policy is this. I trade US stocks and money is being transferred to my dorm account whenever I need to withdraw proceeds, so now I must use the money online.
I am going to sue the cbn for this irresponsible policy. My hard earned money cannot be withdrawn physically!! WHY.
to what effect. Please how do you trade US stocks. I don’t think this policy affects electronic transfers. I think it only has to do with cash deposits |

Donbrig: @aremso, I hail you sir, I have learnt a lot from you posts in this forum. I was not directly referring to you but some foreign elements who wants naira to be devalued for their selfish interest. Nigerians are still counting their losses from the last devaluation. Well, lets wait and see what happens, but I am certain Emefiele and his team definitely knows how to get over this issue of devaluation in due time. Left for Emefiele the naira would have been devalued since. But Buhari is strongly against devaluing that’s why Emefiele is doing everything possible to save his job. I guess that’s one of the major reasons he was retained. The defending of naira is not sustainable, even if they manage to defend it for the next 4 years, the next govt will be in a huge mess! https://www.nairaland.com/5691035/external-reserves-slides-27-months |

emmanuelewumi: While Davido colleagues were struggling to have their first N100 million about 10 years ago. Davido already has a head start because he has that to his name.
While his colleagues will use part of their new found N100 million to build a befitting house for their parents , settle their parents and extended family. Davido does not have to stress himself with that because his parents already have befitting houses, his siblings are doing well because their parents can afford to provide the good things of life for them, his cousins, aunts, uncle's and extended family are equally okay and won't be a financial burden on him.

There is a rumour of currency devaluation in the next 4 weeks, Eurobond Fund won't be a bad idea
Or buy shares of companies who earn in dollars eg Seplat, Airtel, Dangote cement earns in dollars from his branches in other African countries Please how can one buy fgn bond? What are the tenors and rate.. Is there any tenor for 6 months? |

Will any investment company tell you that your capital is not secure, even MMM will tell that your capital is secure Stop raising false alarm mmf has long been in existence. Your capital is safe.. You capital is not preserved like TB, in the event that the Fund Managers go down, your fund goes with them Most have a Tenure of 3 months You can pull out your funds on Maturity They charge around 1.8% I dont know the answer the No 5, a quick Google search will help
FGN Bonds is a minimum of 2 years You can get at Commercial Banks Rate are b/w 7 - 8%

emmanuelewumi: FBN Asset Management will give you 10%, FSDH Asset Management is still around 11%.
They lend some of their customers money under their Asset Backed Lending Scheme at 20% per annum. I think that is one of the reasons why their money market fund is still at 11%.
Minimum loan is N5 million, collateral are Treasury Bills ,money market funds, Eurobond Fund and blue Chip shares. Im planing to dump all my tbills money on FSDH mmf till further notice. Since I don’t understand bonds and stocks and won’t have time to follow them up. I hope that wont be bad idea. Meanwhile thanks for your contributions on this thread. Worth big money.. |

The Dangote that just lost over 70 spot on the Forbes richest list? Nigeria is truly working.....Ode! Besides the only largely successful business of Dangote is Dangote cement where he operates alone, he is not an example of the ideal businessman to me. A enjoys govt backing. If we were to judge by his other business ventures like his noodles then I wonder if he would still be regarded a success story in the Nigerian real sector |

I will advise you to invest half of the money on FG bonds and remaining half on money market funds, till you have an idea of what you can invest in. At least this will give you about N1million per annum, that is about 83k per month Thanks for this, what money market funds do you recommend, and for someone that’s not interested in FG bonds do you advice investing bulk money in mmf? |

Maybe if you took your time to read from the beginning you won’t have jumped with the nonsense you wrote. Anthony Joshua, Messi, Ronaldo etc are considered as the 1% in their respective countries, I bet you don’t know about that. how many people make money like them and live like them in their respective countries? We are talking about how much is needed for someone to live a decent live in Nigeria and you are mentioning Zuckerberg and co.. Clown! How many Zuckerbergs do we have in Nigeria |

contumely2: STOP BEING ENTITLED. What do both of you mean by saying others should desist from calling humongous figures?
Anthony Joshua was paid 30bn for last fight. Consider what will be his personally. How much do Messi, Neymar , Mayweather etc earn?
Zuckerberg earns 10.2m every minute. Yes, 10.2 million every single freaking minute.
Yet people mention a few funds here, and you are inditing this, shouting.
These are existential realities. People live these fantasies.
NOTE NOW that there will always be richer people, more intelligent, handsome, sexier etc people.
It's like a ladder, some are at the top, some below.
You become frustrated when you look only at those at the top.
Look below the ladder and see those whose combined income are less than 30k monthly. Some are happier genuinely. I don’t really get your point, who says all the people you mentioned cannot go broke if they live “humongously”? Nobody is talking about earnings but rather the posts where in relation to someone mentioning “humongous” figures you have to spend daily or monthly to live well in Nigeria! |
