Ginaz:okay. I'll try to make this new year worthwhile |
Aladdin1:kk. I will download it now |
Mrpsly247:my brother, it's a messy situation we find ourselves. Of all the addictions i'm expressing, this is the worst of them all. Leads to despondency and depression |
Firstnebo:hmm.. You have a point. Although it willl make me less a man. But it's for the best. Once i can come out of this mess, i will look into it |
Seandisputed:Amen |
foleskay:hoax what do I stand to gain from faking a story? lamenting about my pains and painting myself as worthless, gives me some reprieve. that's what addictions do to people. addictions are real bro. pray none of your friends or siblings fall for bet9ja virtual. it's the worst of them all |
LilMissFavvy:it's not like that. I used to be serious. most jobs require handling funds at some point. |
sometimes I wonder how things went wrong. An articulate and innocent-looking man like me, throwing my life away and there seems to be no way out. 22,500 naira put under my care for lesson fees (i manage as a tutor in a small school), has been squandered on bet9ja virtual. I could swear that I had stopped gambling till money came into my possession. At once, my tempo rose and I moved swiftly to meet death (bet9ja) to see if I could double the money to solve some problems. Lost it all. I wonder if I will be able to sleep tonight, knowing I would have to give account of the money, sooner than later. All staff rely on this money gathered. I don't even own a salary. More than half of my 9k salary is used to service loans/debt, if not I would have sought to pay back with deductions from salary. I am eloquent, learned and tactful when teaching but betting addiction just altered my future. Gambling has spoilt my focus. Hmm. Is this how I will run and abandon this job in search of another?? Money is indeed the root of all evil. Maybe I should just stop working because it's like I am working 'for the devil'. Don't even have foodstuff or good clothes. why didn't I use the money for that, then I know spending people's money was worth it. |
stevostical okparea princefad codeblooded chinwe4real oluleyepeters I noticed you tried sending me PM. I can not access this mail again. you can mail me on misterpowers825@gmail.com or chat me up here on this abandoned thread |
then, I have damaged some vital organs of my body due to excess sugar. don't be deceived that only old people have health issues like kidney/liver failure. I am currently clinching to the left side of my stomach. something is eating me up inside. I just hope I haven't destroyed both livers. I am a carbonated drink addict (Pepsi to be specific). Right from when I was a bright brain at UNIBEN in 2013, I have always consumed Pepsi superfluously. anytime I am stressed or tired, I take Pepsi. it got to a point that I drank 2-3 Pepsi a day (you heard me right). I would masturbate for like 2 hours, then drink Pepsi in the morning to regain energy. at night, same thing. masturbate till night fall and quench my thirst/hunger with bread and Pepsi. this life felt heavenly. now I am suffering the consequences. worse part is that I drank 3 Pepsi yesterday, after losing much. a relation of ours sells drinks, so I do secretly take to consume. Even my mum do gatecrash weddings and burials to bring food and drinks for us. I never say no to drinks I am given. if only my mum knows what I am doing to myself with drinks, she will stop giving me. so I am scared of telling her |
I also masturbate a lot. I think its up to 10 years since I started masturbated. I am a chronic masturbator, no lie. i masturbate to almost every thing. from staring at boobs or ass to watching sex pics/porn or doing it to sex chat. I am like a veteran in 2go flirt room. at the height of it, I masturbate up to 2-3 times a day. now I have irregular erection and flaccid dick no matter how you turn me on. I use cream, oil, saliva or any thing slippery to self-service. I have started having back pains, painful joint and partial vision impediment. wish I could stop. but anytime I am lonely or frustrated after losing much money, I turn to self-service to give me little reprieve |
I am 29 years old. from Edo state. I admit that I am a bet9ja virtual (gamble) addict. if you are reading this and you know some one who plays the same virtual, don't bother wasting your saliva to advise them. they will surely go back to the act. it is a dangerous world of no return. despite advice from friends and family, I still can't stop betting (bet9ja). we only change a little but once a little money gets to our hand, we go back to the act. my life is being threatened as a result of this addiction. like I have mentioned in previous threads, I dare not step into Benin because I gambled with the phone of a 'strong man'. currently where i stay is top secret. lots of people are looking for me. I sold the Samsung a guy put in my custody and used it on betting. even someone's enrolment money for WAEC I was meant to pay on the person's behalf, was used by me. there are other instances too numerous to mention. it's only a matter of time before I am caught and dealt with. I know some in my predicament have either been lynched or put in jail |
A popular Nigerian pidgin adage goes: "Pikin wey go get head, na from small dem dey know". it's been 7 years of waywardness. no sign of me changing my obnoxious lifestyle. I'm even getting worse. it has gotten to a stage that my life and health is being threatened....... |
Iammiracle1 you can post what you sent me via PM here. This is an abandoned thread. I can't access my mail |
Privatepart00:hmm.. I can change and I will change too. don't give up on me. currently working on myself |

Godsonjolly:hmm... thanks |
It has been from one house to the other for refuge. I'm restless. I want a normal life. My addiction makes me miserable. Betting spirit seem hereditary. My dad and mum used to be pool agents. My dad moved over to bet9ja. I never meant to offend him. He sent me to retrieve his cash out of 2,800 and charge his phone. It was the charging of phone that caused my issue today. While waiting for his phone to charge, i staked with his winnings. Then what i did, dawned on me. I tried selling the small phone i am currently using to browse so i settle him, but no body was pricing it more than 500 naira. So i went back home. He rained curses on me like he used to do whenever i misused money. E.g "you crook". You will be like a withered tree". He asked me to go till i returned his money. It was the only money he had to feed for the weekend. I felt bad but what can i do? The only 'good' news is that, mum and dad are separated, so we have alternative. I am currently at my mum's side. She sobbed and adviced me. I wish to change my addiction badly. Even if it's smoking or drinking |
The landlord i had in benin then allowed me pay rent on a monthly basis instead of yearly. This was because he saw me as a sincere, young, hustling and ambitious student. The wife was motherly as she sporadically served me from their meals. This was mainly when i was indisposed. I begged them to wait for the rent for some months as i was waiting for my cooperative money to pay one full year. They trusted me and waited. They had big plans for the money. I think one of his sons needed money to enrol an exam. I never wanted them to doubt me but sadly when the money came, virtual took it all. The desire to quickly double the money so i have my share from it, caused me more problems. So i fled with little clothes to my mum's side in Delta State. The landlord said all sorts of curses via text like "e no go better for you". "i go do you strong thing, you go see". May be that's why i'm not making headway |
When i started as an undergraduate in Benin, i was a good and brilliant boy. This can testify to why my fellow students supported me during my addiction with food and cash. They thought it was poverty affecting me. I never let them know it was Bet9ja. I sold almost everything in my room to gamble. I started skipping classes to play the game. I never graduated, to their disappointment. One even borrowed me an Android phone to continue updating our Whatsapp group on lectures' time and its synopsis since i was smart. To his dismay, i gambled with the phone. I borrowed from some of them which i never paid. I feel hurt and ashamed that they don't reply my messages on Facebook. I never meantt to hurt them. I think it's a spirit. Once i hold the mouse to play one or two virtual game, i end up squandering all i have |
I remember my previous job in Benin. My colleagues were really nice to me. They had a listening ear anytime i needed help. This could be because i'm ingenious and smart. I abused their trust and borrowed from all of them to gamble. They never had a hint i used the same pity story for all of them till i fled. They rained curses on me through the phone. There was a man who took me in when we had serious accommodation problem. Then my mum was sleeping in the store. Do you know i stooped so low to trade on almost any thing in his house to raise money for bet9ja virtual. From necklace of his babe to frozen chicken in fridge to his belt etc. Then i fled. He rained curses on me too |
i step on toes unintentionally i have only been to prison once. So i know the conditions of convicts. No one will intentionally commit an offence, knowing the consequences are severe. I keep stepping on the toes of people who are dear to me. i have a tender heart but my uncontrollable penchant for gambling, keeps making me offend those i love. Maybe i'm cursed and if care is not taken, i may meet my waterloo soon |
The things that happens to some one when in trouble, can help tell what the problem is. There are some nascent signs when a lady is pregnant out of wedlock. She vomits intermittently. When a person has Malaria, he or she gets a high fever with heavy eyes. There are also signs to show i might be cursed. I step on toes and i am living a miserable life. Let me let you in on the problems in my life |
mzBEAM:happy birthday girl |
Tony142:my whatsapp phone is faulty |
hypertensive I heard hypertension can only happen to an aged man. but this is not solely the case. ever since there was a proliferation of bet sites in Nigeria, many youths have taken to it. this has increased their tension and anxieties. for me, my blood pressure has risen to the extent that just a mere calling of my name can make me shocked. that is what playing virtual soccer or betting on football matches does to someone. just today, I had 1900 naira I planned using to feed for at least one week. I went to bet9ja to charge my phone with the hope of not getting tempted to play.unfortunately, the screams of victory when people won, was too high to resist and I joined the premier league virtual. you needed to see how I danced and shook when following the updates. you play over 2.5 but you see over 1.5. you play straight win but see draw. one game kept 'cutting' my ticket till I lost it all. there are times I even dream of playing bet and one game spoiling it all and I scream. it is that bad. I still remember the sleepless nights when I lost stakes of about 10k and above. some times, I felt suicidal. I hardly put my youthful productive brains to use because my orientation now is messed up. how to hit it big at all cost makes me dubious, lose focus and uncontrolled |
fear I live in fear. there is the fear of losing my life anytime I am apprehended by those I owe. there is a permanent fear and insecurity that I may never make it since I am a drop out. my mates who paid attention to their books, are either in N-Power or one white collar job or the other. the country is very hard now. so I see gambling as my only way of making it big. it puts me in more misery at the end of the day though. the fear of going down due to my passive kidney issue is there. no matter how much I eat or jerk off,the fear remains.the fear of not being able to handle money without gambling with it, pushes me at times to make panic and reckless spending. i have three banks accounts with zero figures as I lack a saving ability. I act and reason less than a child now due to my insecurities. some times I find myself unknowingly hitting my body on parked vehicles or the wall because I am usually lost in thought |
as growing adults, we pick up some obnoxious acts which after self-criticism or reprimandment, people retrace their steps. some start up as prostitutes, armed robbers, dubious dealers and so on. then, when life deals a big blow to them, they learn from it. the same can not be said of my life. my life has been messed up beyond repair. I am now insecure, hyperactive (exhibiting uncontrolled behaviour), scared and hypertensive. there is no way out, i'm. sure. let me let you in on some habits of mine that has left me wasted. 90 percent of them is linked to my betting addiction.... |
Billi007:hmmm |
