Rebekah029:amen. I long to be free |
Kranediggy:hmm.. But they are the only ones with steady power supply to boost my phone. But you are right, going there brings back the urge to play. Thanks for believing in me despite my being worthless |
capslocked mentioned I will go back to gambling now the lockdown was over. I foolishly did so, after going there to charge my phone |
Ibechris2:hmm. I am stuck sort of. I can't remember the password to the g-mail I used in creating the account. If not, I would have deactivated it. I abandon the account at times, only to go back to it again when the chips are down |
Taywon:like what bro? The economy is not working. Gambling seems to be the only way to make it smoothly? |
Once i can reason well again, i will be the best child ever. Now i make judicious use of any money i get. When someone gives me 1k for example, i can use it for one week for feeding. Unlike before, any amount i have gets finished from bet9ja virtual within 10 minutes. I am happier now. I can make my mum proud as before someday, by being tops in what i do. With time, God will bless me or send some one to bless me. No need to be desperate again |
I know i will suffer trying to feed while paying off debts at the office. I will try to stay back and redeem my image. The school i work used to know me as trustworthy and diligent before i gambled with over 70k of some WASSCE students in my care. Almost thought of running away to another state to avoid arrest. Thank God i summoned courage to plead with the Director together with my mum to let me pay back with my salary from now till December. I pray when frustration or hunger set in, i don't take any one's money with the futile aim of doubling it at the ritual doorstep of bet9ja. Public shame has humbled me and made me remorseful. Now, more assiduous than ever, overcoming youthful exuberance. Can't wait for schools to be back on session to prove my worth. To God be the glory. |
So it's been one month of lockdown without me going to a betting shop. The government did me a favour kind of. The past four weeks, i felt normal and could reason well. My restlessness was calmed. I helped out with some chores, which made my mum ecstatic. To God be the Glory. But now the lockdown has been relaxed. I pray i don't feed on any negative thought....... |
Thrill4christ:hmm.. Deep. You right when you say, fighting the addiction at an early age is far better. I also look up to the future, no matter how dimly lit it is |
abuuzy:hmm.. Talking of isolation, this current lockdown has been of help. 3 weeks indoors, without gambling. Hopefully, it stays that way while i think of how to pay the debts i piled up and survive |
Freelane33:ah. The fear is, adding another addiction to this current one will be suicidal. I wish i could substitute. Gambling makes me talk to myself at times or scream when i picture all i've lost. Imagine adding weed to this condition, i fear i might go mental |
mascot345:nice plan. Having your own gen is key. At times, going to watch football or charge phone at betshops, take one back to the act. |

Goalnaldo:thanks. Working on my rehabilitation too. To your first paragraph, trust me, nothing is as bad as chronic gambling. Not masturbation, not drugs, not womanising, nothing. I will give you a little example. I was given someone's enrolment money of 60k, I rushed to bet9ja virtual, hoping I could double it. Within 20 mins, I lost it all. No addiction can land you in such mess so quick. With womanising, you go to a joint, merry with nkwobi or isiewu or rice and chicken. Then take her to a cozy room, cuddle, bang all day. One day enjoyment. Same with drugs. You buy and sniff drugs little by little. You can't imagine what bet9ja virtual reduced me to. It's like 10 years has been cut off my life. Without mincing words, my total loss for five years will be more than a million. Not like I earn much. But gambling will make you take risks, sell all your hard-earned properties, pile up debts from loans and use money swindled from people |
Sundrus:hmm. The socratic dictum. I do reflect on my negative ways during this lockdown. Hopefully, it's gone for good |
At times, in the company of friends, they talk about their sexual adventures and I can't help it but envy them. There is nothing to envy about chronic gambling. I sold my T. V, pressing iron, mouka foam, handset etc and even sold things belonging to those that trusted me. All to what end, bet9ja, which is programmed, yet I can't resist it. At least, even though womanisers squander their savings on women, they will still remember the vaginas they screwed with nostalgia. Even the joints they entertained women, alongside the palatable food they ate. But I gave mine to a computer screen with no feelings. #StillUndergoingRehabilitation |
At times, when I think of the mess I put myself, I can't help but wish I was a drug addict or womaniser. Playing bet9ja for over 5 years has brought nothing more than pain to me and my loved ones. But when you think of drug addicts, they only do damage to themselves and don't hurt their parents and employees by stealing their money to gamble like gamblers. When a guy takes hard drugs he feels alive and he forgets all the troubles In the world that moment. But after virtual on bet9ja , All one gets is depression and trouble with the authorities |

I had to do it to maintain my sanity. I will face scolding and get to pay back gradually. but its all for the better. now they know my addiction, money won't be handed to me again. thanks to those that cared. I pray this ongoing rehabilitation is for good. i will also resume Church immediately |
onlinetomola:what sir? |
BigJoe19:oh. sad enough, I don't remember the password to the email of this account. so, I can't deactivate |
godkiller:hmm.. when sir. i'm hurting and getting into more trouble |
0KNM:people's money o, not mine. Was desperate to double it. Hmm.. The Lord? He's slow to answer |
I won't lie, after all the advice, I still went out this morning and gambled off about 36k enrolment money. That makes it about 63,000 naira i have to pay back before WASSCE starts in April. hmm.. I have made up my mind to open up to my Director & plead to work without pay for the next six months to pay back. I know it will bring shame & disgrace when staff & students hear but that will be my cross. I will have to stay with my mum during this period so I don't starve. oh! how she will shed tears & vent her frustrations on me. I'm praying my four years of meritorious service speaks well for me & he doesn't get to arrest me. if only I had told all my candidates to pay directly to the Secretary, instead of passing through me. hmm... I will surely have to resign & stop working, so it won't look like I'm working only to suffer. someone advised I swear in a shrine that if I gamble again, I should be struck dead, as that was the only way out from bet9ja addiction. please, does anyhow know any native doctor in Delta State I can meet and do this without any repercussions later? I badly need redemption from gambling as I am the carefree type. It's the only way I believe, since bet shops are everywhere/tempting. I will be assiduous & will be the model child my parents always hoped for, once I stop |
