Hi guys this is a bit long bear with me, So I am hoping someone with a similar experience can tell me whats could be wrong. I have a Toyota Camry 2007 model which makes a funny sound (let me say its like a roaring sound but not quite, sha something that rambles). Sometime last year I got a check engine light, with vsc lights and trac lights on as well. I went to these guys I use, they scanned and told me the LHS car Tyre sensor was bad and gave me some funny bill. However I resisted the urge to just change it based on their say so, the parts seemed ridiculously expensive so I opted to buy it online from rock auto. Fortunately or should I say unfortunately I found an obd2 scanner online as well and bought it. I came back and scanned my car and got a P420, "Efficiency of threshold bank low or so I think (picture attached)" apparently that was different from the earlier error. I cleared the error and started studying it, when it came up and I scanned I kept on getting the same code. I did my search online and found that this could mean changing my catalytic converter, I am very very very wary about these guys here so my first question would be What is the most effective way to clear this P420 code for good, best practices, costs etc? Back to the rumbling sound, usually the AC is on and windows up so I do not know for sure when it started. When I noticed however I took it to another place to have it checked out. The guy took it for a test drive and while with him in the car he says he is positive that its a hub and bearing problem. I was not too comfortable with the answer, I took it back to the original place where I had that first scan, they did a drive and physically checked and said bearing and hub was fine. Frustrated I went to Google I did my own search on a test drive for a bearing problem. In the videos I watched they said when you hear the sound you turn the steering to either side to ascertain where it was coming from. I did that and noticed that the sound did not change whether I was turning left or right, I noticed something funny however. When I accelerated i.e push the gas down is the only time I hear the sound, when the car has hit even 100 to 120 km/h I do not hear the sound except I am pushing the accelerator down. I also noticed that between 1000 and 2000 rpm while driving I do not hear the sound it only comes up when I rev the car past 2000 rpm and I am driving as well. When I am not on motion and I rev past 2000 rpm I don't hear the sound. Can anyone tell what the problem might be? PS: I do maintenance regularly, those ba$tards changed my break pads and now I hear that annoying sound when I break
i sincerely agreed with you, my company just employed one guy (an electrical engineer), to be sincere with you this guy doesnt know how to use tester, he doesnt know anything about electrical, i just discovered today that the guy is zero theoretically and i asked myself one question, how does this guy passed his exams, a Bsc holder from ESUT. I'm equally a fresh graduate (mechanical engineer) but i can dismantle, assemble and overhaul an engine without any supervision. i was telling him what and what i can do which i did some in his presence and he asked me a question, where did u learn all these from? my response goes thus....... i did siwes and IT and i took it upon myself that i must know these things. today i can conveniently lay my hand on heavy duty engines and any mechanical machines as well as air condition and refrigerator. i think its just mind set. believe me
Stop giving mechanical engineering a bad name nwokem even a monkey can be trained to 'lay hands' on heavy duty engines. ![]() |
I helped wake her up. When she regained consciousness, she didn't just know what to do or where to start confessing or how to start pleading for forgiveness. I categorically told her it was over between us. I collected the dubai necklace I gave her(which was a symbol of our engagement). She pleaded with me but I told her it was over btw us. I left. The following day, she came to my house with Veron my best friend who betrayed me. They said they came to beg for my forgiveness. She said it was me she loved, and that it was a mistake what happened btw her and Veron. Veron was speechless. I told them to go and never come back because I don't ever want to see their faces. I left there. My girl kept coming. I neglected her. She kept calling me. She called me again yesterday which is why I'm writing this. Should I forgiver her?
YES! Forgive her man, infact give her a call back and thank her very much for showing you the true colors now before you started raising three or four kids that are not yours ![]() Suck it up man its all part of life, people cheat simples. nenyeokoye: Sorry to drag you guys bck but I really need to make a decision urgently, any idea if Totals annual offer is after or before tax?Almost all offers are before tax, if an offer does not have "after tax" in front of the money then it is before tax. |
The focus has been pay pay pay and it can be very very misleading. There are many factors one should consider before taking the plunge. You cannot have it all and depending on which role you are taking you have to be careful when you look at money. Some companies at entry level might not pay so well but have better industry recognised training programs than others, at entry level this should be a bigger draw than where you would seat to be a glorified house boy taking instructions from HQ. When I have time and energy I would expound more. |
Mr Aboki: Ichie.. Mba o!!If I start to type about that onne road I would be in tears before I finish. For many many months people have toiled on that road in fact if it's Wednesday you work in onne and you dey office by 5 pm and you intend to take you and your vehicle home that day na midnight things. The irony is that it is a federal road and I remember once it was so bad that a company near that akpajo junction on the road had to fill the gullies with Hardcore, Nna ehn they entered big yawa with ferma - their crime was that they were 'spoiling' a federal road. If I no join politics ehn.......... |
Port Harcourt don suffer this period, why on earth would that road which has given people nightmares day in and out for so many years be fixed like Harry potter waved a wand? Or is it the vip bullion vans moving with political convoys? Now the only ikwerre friend I have is going round the whole of ph looking for a hotel to do short time ![]() |
Madam Efe How far na! SO you don turn Womens right activist abi?! Better pound that yam finish before I reach house or else.. ![]() @ Post: Madam, I grew up with the mentality of whats mine is hers and whats hers is mine. Equality all round. However.. In a union, its always right to define roles lest everyone runs around chasing their dreams at the expense of the greater good of the family. I'm sure our forefathers forsaw this thats why they created roles for each party in the relationship bearing in mind who the stronger party was and giving that party the hardest role and making the weaker party have lesser but equally crucial responsibilities. You asked how many of us have proerties in our wifes names? ANSWER: I do. My father also does. Infact, any car in my house that carries only one persons name on it was a gift from the other partner to that person. The lands and houses all read Mr. & Mrs. The ones that dont carry Mr. & Mrs. bear the company name of which they are both the principal share holders & directors in the company. YOU WOMEN ARE SELFISH Look at the way the OP's post put it like the women are slaves. When a man works and toils hard at work everyday, what is his ultimate purpose?! TO PROVIDE FOR HIS FAMILY (which includes the wife). Look at what you women are here advocating. Chasing your dreams. To benefit whom?! Yourselves! So that you can make money and be equal to your husbands financially abi? Or do you think it is a Mans dream to have a woman spend up all his hardwork?! No! But he does it as his responsiblity and sacrifice to his family. Look at me for example. I make enough money to lounge and ball like I want. But hey! I am forkig over my earning every month to my wife who already makes money just because that is what is expected of me. You women should please ease off this gender eqaulity crap & slavery nonesense.. We are both slaves to each other in the relationship.
Mazi Okija! I hail. |

achi4u: Bia fiiznation or whatever u call urself next time u want to quote me make sure you've taking ur kparaga medicine with hot water in order to give you a clear cut. There is no divide button to press, the only way this country would part is through bloodshed simple. Obviously you were not around the last time it happened, with the proliferation of weapons now through the whole of the arab world your basic right to type what you like on this forum would be for VIPs only. Look at Libya for instance, Gadaffi united the whole country in hate or well most of it. The minute he was gone then all the various tribes started to remember the feuds they used to have with the people they fought side by side, today the country is worse off and there is no telling which direction the country would head to. Splitting this country would never ever ever ever happen. The earlier you sit up and practice actively in the process that would bring about good governance the better for us all. |
Abeg make una nack me one shine shine Bobo The way security full ground brekete for ph na to leave door open sleep this night. |
ngozievergreen: Inasmuch as I bliv Nig won't divide easily, I don't bliv the saying that Nig strength lies in its diversity, common, the diversity is a problem. My dear it all depends what side of the lens you are looking at it from. |
![]() Relationship don turn responsibility kwa. Issorait. |
Nigeria is not sitting on a keg of gunpowder. One fact remains that this country cannot split without blood being spilled before, during and after the split. For all ye E-Gladiators that think its by taking a knife and carving it you are all sorely mistaken, this country is way too diverse to split evenly anyways......along which lines? Religious? Ethnic? I am from the Niger delta, but that region would be the first to go up in flames if Nigeria does. Politicians in charge of the oil wealth would be way too powerful and those who say simply when they are tired its easier to throw out a bad government, thats easier said than done. Even if Oduah was a Minister in the Republic of Igbos, the people from Anambra state would feel marginalized that their princess is being attacked by the other Igbo states. Even if it was the Republic of Anambra, the people of her local govt would stiil complain......the point is people would always see things that divide us regardless. The average Nigerian is first loyal to his stomach, before his tribe and Nigeria. Nigeria's strength lies in its diversity, we need to practice true federalism and tackle our problems as they come. Any major conflict in this country would set us back a minimum of 30 years. |

Having played both these games through the years back and forth through the different series I still am of the opinion that PES edges Fifa, it all depends on how you get your freak on. Fifa - If graphics are your thing (well up till 2014 where the PES fox engine totally anihilates it), if you need the name of arsenal to be arsenal. Konami has an uphill task here, while fifa can basically grab most of the stuff i believe for free konami finds it harder to get the license. Commentary I agree as well fifa edges PES, thats about it for FIFA. IF you enjoying playing shots at awkward angles using a players weak foot and watch it rifle into the net then fifa is your thing. PES - This is for people with a football sense, PES 2013 is still for me the best soccer game ever. When I say to people that PES has a heart people never understand, but when you play a game and do what you would love to do in real life and you see it happen, that my dear friends is what fifa lacks. That last ditch slide, that first time high through pass, that shoulder to shoulder struggle between PEPE and ZLATAN------TOTALLY PRICELESS. For those who say defending is about holding X then kindly up your game, better still up the people you play with.Nuff said. |
