What a strange scenrio on this freq 11.716v 3141sr, i got tbc kenya using my 4669x, then on the same freq while using 4663x a reverse was the case, ntv uganda, and at no time did i get the 2 channel s in the same decoder, is this normal or strange, oga george d and oga olofofo this one pass me ooo, The bird is eutelsat w4/w7

Ntv kenya and other kenyan channels on w4 are in mpeg 4 dvb s2 , while ntv uganda and others are in mpeg2 dvb s1, u need an mpeg 4 reciever for maximum viewing.

Visit eutelsat w7/w4 on lyngsat for the freq of those channels ,also note that u are required to attain a maximum signal quality b4 they wld pop up, one other way is to blind scan. good day

@oga george D good day, actually there are two or say 3 nta channels on that bird,it might be a feed but it has been steady, i do not have the frequency right now, but in order to get those channels , you can google it up by geting the freq of ortm malior rtb burkina faso, once u do that , simply blind scan and the nta would pop up.

Yes daarsat is useful for fta , but note it would not open nagravision encrypted channels that requires the 6969 combination, also ensure that the reciever has not been upgraded via the OTA upgrade else u will be having a a network locked reciever. Good day

Currently startimes is available in abt 4 or 5 african countries on terrestrial and are planing to expand. They operate as pay tv in these countries and charge abt 1000 naira monthly,in nigeria we were made to understand that it would be free to air , according to one of our veteran

It is a pay tv channel dt is meant for south african viewers, so guys we just have to enjoy the no audio pictures we are watching since dey are on test transmission, may 2010 will be the official launch date , then the channels would be encrypted. w2a available on my 2.4m mesh here in owerri signal strength is abt 67 percent max, 2nd tp yet to appear, signal goes down in the morning, decoder model is 4669x

Greetings to u all ,my fellow and beautiful members of fta and welcome to this wonderful year ,i have not been able to make contributions for sometime cus of little hitches here and there but its been taken care of , thanks to the g group members. Recently i travelled to orlu ,a village in imo state ,i was so suprised to see a motorised 90cm and 60cm dishes, the motor is manually and eaisly operated by pushing the dish with a small long pipe that is attched to the angle iron, i had some pics of the set up, but due to some errors on my part they were deleted frm my phone, i promise to attach them when next i go there

Happy birthday oga twins , @all, guys etv is gradually making entry into various african countries ,d create a special e channel 4 each country, in ghana it is called e- ghana and it is on terrestrial while in kenya it is called e-africa and it is free to air on intelsat 902 , u can only get it with d new srt 4669x , i have tried unsuccesfully to nail it with my daarsat decoder. You can equally get ntv kenya on the same freq which pito posted a few days back

Hello guys, this daarsat decoder get hifever oo.,, I have tried everything i could to get etv signal but no show it seems the srt 4669x is better than kaon receiver

 i have not been able to make  new posts ever since my lappy packed up and d  recent behaviour of opera mini is not helping matters at all, since it used to be my alternative,well i am in a cafe close by which serves as a third alternative.
Greetings, it seems these pay tvs no want make we enjoy , could u imagine  mytv acquiring the new channel on intelsat 68 east, Muvi tv , the are planning to have it as part of there bouquet infact they have  concluded arrangements to have it  encrypted.
You can also get  Nta international and Nta lagos on intelsat 905 @24 w on these freq 4111L  sr 5750 actually that freq is for ortm mali, simply do a blind scanning and Nta would appear Ciao

@ yes emenystan i experienced similar thing too, infact i had to make a loop out connection to my strong decoder in order to watch the crtv channel, i nearly ran mad this night, i came back only to see no signal on my daarsat decoder, but when i checked the strong decoder i had strong signals on each of the channels including crtv, so with anxiety creeping up on , i panicked, however when i finally calmed myself i did a factory reset and viam every thing came back to normal,and i quickly went to setting to disable OTA, what an experience

Guys like other decoders u can do almost every thing with ur daarsat decoder
