@ pitodenz the model number for daarsat is KSC-S660HD , i have also used daarsat decoder for other fta channels and it worked, i have given mine out to a relation i need to buy another

@tox thank God everyone is safe by his protection @ sathob nice job , i have this impression that daarsat decoder might be of the same quality or even better than multi tv decoder 4 instance it is on dvbs- 2 while dt of mtv is on dvb s1 though both on mpeg 4 just an observation, but it would still be an advantage to have a multitv decoder in case they decide to move over to nagra 3 and still remain free

I was also suprised abt the 9k price tag when i checked on one of such forums sb said it was abt $300 . I personally called sobis 2day to confirm the 55000 naira price. I think it is high time we start thinking of a w ay to get multitv digibox as it stands to be the best option, i have this feeling that it might go d way of etv dt unless u have their decoder u would not be able to view it. Also i wish to let u all know that the security of nagra 3 is quite tight d4 solution to etv is far.

@ salamander well said my brother, (our little deal did not go ahead)          there may be many theories as to the disapperance of etv of which what u said is one of them, another reason might be because of the recent acquisition of CL Rights by Ait mbc 3 and  Hitv. Other channels may follow suit. Just recently i tried to open the new website of mbc3 thru goalzz.com to my suprise i saw a new Tp for it on intelsat . May be they are trying to migrate to cband lets wait and see.@ all i called a mytv dealer in abuja and he told me that the srt 4900 and 4910 are available @ the rate of 9k those in abuja cld u pls verify this info thanks

hello all , if you have been watching CRTV u d agree with me that etv is no match when it comes to entertainment, imagine watching wwe raw 3 days after the live broadcast as well as 2009 foriegn movies , i feel that the loss of etv is not a big deal after all and if multi tv truely is free, i do not think i would be missing etv at all cheers.

You of all people ought to know that it is very difficult to nail nilesat with 2.4 m pan in owerri,how much more a 90cm dish, i would advice you to look at the leaflet that comes with each new strong receivers , look for south east you would be able to find some of the channels receivable here alongside the size of dish

@ Enitan is it possible to turn the fake strong to original, i taught that once u download a fake with the original software ur machine will turn blind and stop working
@ at pito i made inquiries concerning the new model strong and was made to understand that the have plans of bringing them into the market

i have one or two things to say regarding strong decoder and the patch, right now all 4653x models available in the market are all fakes,because strong have discontinued its production,and one smiple way to know an original from a fake is to put the two together,u would observe tha the digit indicators are not the same that of fake is bright yellow and a little bit bent than the original. and my advice is do not patch the model if you are not sure, secondly the fake of 4663x model is also available, how ever most of the marketers are scared of buying them due to the recent crusade by strong officials in the market. they now carry out product inspection at various markets
The new strong 4661x to 4663x has been launched by strong and it is readily available in australia , it will be launched in africa when the older models are out of stock

@ pito  strong hd is not a dual view pvr rather it is pvr ready like srt 4663x

Actually i have that at the back of my mind, i started with pas 7/10 on ku band , later i graduated to c band motorised, right now i have 3 ku band set ups and my motorised c band, like u said free for life, dstv and hitv and mytv are all rip offs i know and i understand perfectly well, i am not doing it for my own consumption , could u believe that in most homes people have almost the three networks and they pay for it, so my research is on how to get one network that can do the job of 3 on a ku band 90 cm dish max, because lots of people here are tenants and they like competition, therefore if the dstv rest of africa works here there is a possibility that they might like the idea, for me i am looking for a way to link to nilesat, recently someone offered me a starsat decoder at the rate of 10k but i declined because i do not have nilesat i hope to nail that bird in future, but as u know i am in the south and i need a big i mean very big dish
