IamaNigerianGuy:You must be a lover of conspiracy theories. A clause that had existed even before the crisis. Meanwhile have you thought the impact it would have had on Nigerians if banks collectively agreed to sell it? The job loss? The loss in revenue ? Whether " HBO" as you call it puts his man or not is no brainer, the koko is how do the banks get back their money. Or don't you know a defaulting borrower puts our bank savings at risk? |
donralph2000:You still don't get the picture. go and research on the foundational problem, come back and read my comment you will get it |
donralph2000:before you start throwing tantrums, you need to first dig deep to discover the subsurface problem. Has Glo folded? even small Ntel is still pulling through then why Etisalat? That Etisalat is experiencing troubles doesn't correlate with the small and medium scale bizness. Both have factors that would hit them hard in different ways. Etisalat crisis is a product of fast depreciated currency |
jashar:Uhmmm actually, the people who ought to have taken over from the Etisalat should be the aggrieved banks. Etisalat owes several banks a truck load of money and defaulted severally in its koan payment. it had to take the intervention of CBN and ncc to stop the forceful takeover. The crux of the matter is bad management, and I think CBN approved board is a better suited for the job. Banks wouldn't have let NCC appoint members of the board when NCC is out to milk telecoms. CBN are concerned about the health of our banks, and so would have been better trusted by these lenders to step in and manage the situation gerrit? |
ooshinibos:...and does Ronaldo look white in color even though we know he is white? abeg call a spade a spade. we often refer to ourselves as black people. we even have so many mantra to go with it : #Black and beautiful #Black and proud #Blacker the berry the sweeter the juice (Kendrick Lamar #Black is beautiful by (flavour) We always refer to ourselves as black but because its Ronaldo, u remember its not black but brown HYPOCRITE

ihedioramma:very wrong plus 18% isn't really feasible. rates are not usually this high and its not thoughtful to think it will remain like this over the next 10yrs hence I reduced it to 15%

bigW:yes it's safe, stanbic ibtc is the no1 mutual fund managers in Nigeria. They have different portfolios one can invest it. Eg if you invest in the money market portfolio, they will invest your money in various money market instrument from tbills, to fixed deposit, commercial paper etc. Its a relatively safe place. There is a thread on nairaland dedicated for that, I think its started by a guy named ernie4life. Search and read the latest. I onetime was with fbn quest, another mutual fund manager (first bank) , they pay your profit quarterly (3months). But remember you will pay a tax fee for thier rendered services. so if they are advising a rate of 18% and thier tax fee is 1%, then know ur money was invested at 17%. with that you can compare it with tbills yield to get a better offer There's a thread on that for nairaland, search for it and you will be updated

fitted60:To the economist a home is an asset. To the accountant a home is an asset. To an investor its not. well let me simplify everything in essence, whatsoever asset that's not yielding income for you daily, monthly quarterly or annually shouldn't be considered an asset to a core investor. If you decide to see it as an asset from the angular view of an economist or accountant, you are still correct. But when you look at it from an investment point of view, you become wiser. The moment you see that you can yield income from your house that you just built, you are on your way to turning it to an asset. With this knowledge, I hope u can understand why Cars are considered asset to some people and considered liability to some others? |
Iamthoney:According to the bible, Man (male and female) was created to dominate the earth. In the course of dominating earth, to contribute our own quota to mother earth |
so that when you end up in hell, you will not say its because u were leaving life on factory settings, hehe. You were given freewill to customize your life settings, follow Gods word and your custom settings will run efficiently, no lagging behind lol

vivalavida:why do I have a feeling we attend the same church and same branch over here they start with : - offertory then - convenant seed & Sunday offering - Tithes and special vows offering - then birthday Thanksgiving offering - Wedding thanksgiving - Prophetic harvest offering if it's 1st Sunday of da month - Sunday thanksgiving offering (this offering is just to thank God for seeing another sunday lol ) - then lastly any offering to support society or any ongoing church project I swear its no different than what u just posted, I am Anglican too. |
iberibe1:Are u ccna certified? if no, then you can't write ccnp exam regardless of the wonderful training you are undergoing |
since nobody is adding anybody to the Whatsapp, how about we resurrect the thread. maybe with questions, discussions and all. it seems the admin is no longer adding new numbers, so let's make here useful while it last |

omobabalawo:I think I still have the book. send me a pm |
12inches1:Call him any name u like, he has inspired lots of people and changed mindsets. I never said it was easy to create a second income, but when u begin to apply thought process on having something extra, u refuse to accept defeat. If whenever u experience inflation eating away your income and all you do is just cut down on expenses only. You are simply accepting defeat. Life has put you in a box and you made yourself comfortable in that box by adjusting your expenses only You will keep adjusting it till you find yourself eating once daily. So my friend, thinking of how to create a second income is u taking the bull by the horn. You begin to seek investment advice and business tips so u can stay afloat rather to bow to inflationary pressures. feel me?

ubaobi:ur house doesn't put money into your pocket, instead it takes money out of your pocket due to maintenance (painting, soak-away, etc) To an investor, having a home is kinda a liability. it becomes an asset when its given out on rent!
|
Robert kiyosaki says when things get tough , don't cut down on your standard of living, instead think about how you can improve your income. If you spend 1million annually on expenses and ur income annually is 3million If your expenses jump to 2m per annum due to inflation, he says rather than cut down on your standard of living Think of ways to improve your income. move from 3m to 4m or more

MrMcJay:lol, people don't like to read. I took time to read all through his posts, even down to his websites. I couldn't believe that I was armed with so much info for free... I learnt a lot, I hope others too will read and learn. You are doing a nice job reminding us about land deals, kudos |
Nairakand lawyer who is the mod of the property section has often spilled out the beans on real estate Never enter into a land transaction with quacks. always go with professionals . One who knows the tricks and intricacies of a land deal. Yes Omonile can be dodgy, but if you consult a lawyer who knows how to deal with them, you are sure of your land delivered to you. On the other hand , a real estate company is a scary deal. Why? How many real estate coy will show u the terms and conditions guiding the estate before you make payment? ahow many of them have documents that you can use to verify ownership at the land bureau? In the end, even if you buy from a genuine coy, you will be indebted to them for life!!!! You will pay -development fee - estate management fee - you will be told how to build your house (color, shape) - some restrict the use of pets (no dogs nor cats) - some don't allow the use of generating sets leaving you at the mercy of phcn - Your light bill could be crazy if phcn does " secret collabo" with the estate CEO to milk residents there. etc #Omonile better pass abeg

Pls use this website to calculate expected earnings. Just punch in the numbers and the total will appear http://www.moneychimp.com/calculator/compound_interest_calculator.htm |
alezzy13:yes sire, that's what compounding means. simply reinvesting your interest + principal. If you happen to add something extra no matter how little at the start of each year, it becomes even better |
Happy new month. All I want to say is Compound interest is a very great force. take this scenario A man who has 5million naira saved up and is working, can plan for retirement on time. How? Let's say he compound his invests 5m annually @ 15% in Tbills and he contributes only 200k at the start of each year. After 20yrs, he will be a multi millionaire, making 105million. screen shot below Ex2:Similarly one who compounds 1million annually @ 15% and adds 100k only at the start of each year, After 20yrs, would have made 28million naira Money enough to train his kids through university by then. Ex3: For the ballers and top shot callers here, with 20million invested for only 5years @ 15% and with a yearly addition of 4miillion naira. In 5yrs, u would have made 71million naira Money enough to get start two housing projects. One for personal use, and one for rent #It may seem impossible due to fluctuation in tenor rates and human desires for worldly things, but I tell u If you decide to be a true disciple of compound interest, at least in a safe haven like tbills not a speculative market like stocks or lands or currency, You will sure harvest Big Fruits

eyinjuege:maybe you are mistaking the woman for e moneys wife. E money has three sons and its natural if his wife drives any of his cars |

This has got to be a case study for other small. ..medium and big companies to diffuse and learn ...... even if it looks fine with their financial reports. So my dear friend......be gentle with your wordings. The quote above is not ideal.
