It doesn't matter how many people were killed. 1 civilian death is simply 1 too many. We need to start giving life it's proper value. We are so used to news of of death that we have become de-stigmatized by it. Enough is enough. LIFE is more important than anything else! |
Barca fans say they got robbed; I say NO, you got ROBBEN'ED. They say what about the OFFSIDE and the FOUL; I say what about the 2+ handball PENALTIES eh? |
Despite how you chew it, there's nothing wrong with chewing gum. If you have gum and would like to chew it, then go for it. It's just that simply. You have to have common sense where you chew it and of course respect "holy" establishments. |
You forgot about the INVISIBLE HUSBAND. The rock, prince charming, Jesus in the flesh, Barack O-Husband, women keep waiting for that never show ups. She gives up around the age of 30-40 and end up with one of the other 10. |
PDF is more professional and you have a very small chance of anyone editing your CV but if you're unsure, you could always send it in both formats for convenience. |
Watching Bayern play in Germany while in Germany was AWESOME! Yes I am in Germany now and the streets are still flooded! What a clinical game. All I have to say is this: Bayern is no Milan. No way in hell Barcelona is scoring 4 goals on them. And Barcelona is all short kids (average height 5'1) that run fast and can pass...it's time to get some real strikers! But seriously...Arjen Robben is only 29? I thought this guy was nearing retirement age (Brett Favre of soccer) but little did I know that he has at least 2 world cups left in him! Gerard Piqué might have shaved his head but, as is so often the case, there was nothing intimidating about Barcelona's defending. |
It's very difficult to use the bible to argue with those who do not believe in it because you can easily understand why they'd be confused. You have to start from an common frame of reference which also proves difficult to do. [/b]But I do know one thing: there is a God and I cannot understand or explain all his ways with my canal mind. [/b] |
These old men, on both sides, and their shenanigans. Somehow they've managed to be in power and relevant since independence. Some of them won't even make it to 2015. |
That's only a taste of some of the critiques abroad. We do not demand our artists to work hard. Our Nigerian so called artists don't really work hard enough (with the exception of a few good ones.) We hear a catchy beat and chorus and that's it for us. Whether the lyrics is rubbish, we really don't care. African artists can drop 1 album a week if you let them because the music is all beats and empty, simplified lyrics. We enjoy it because we are more interested in the "dance-ability" but we need to start demanding more from these people before you let the "chop your money!" |
All these old men ever do is make statements while our country is going to waste. Exaggerated or not, corruption is becoming part of our DNA and it needs to end. The global implications are mountainous as it is continuously difficult to do business abroad as a Nigerian.(The perception of Nigeria and Nigerians are over exaggerated but we, and the people we have "elected" to rule us are responsible for it.) I read the news daily and my heart grows heavy with sadness. The innocent and the poor suffer dearly each day. How much longer must this go on? |
Congrats to the ManU fans. I'm still not happy for you! |
I don't care if the thing has all colors of the rainbow, I'm still staying away! |
None. Life goes on. |
Yes, they're both probably equally corrupt. But is that supposed to make us feel any better? It's like saying no matter which way we vote or go, we can't escape the corruption. |
There is little correlation between wet dreams and virginity. In fact, it is more evident in male virgins who are over the age of 18. The older you get, the more you start to "notice" females and develop sexual desires and fantasies which tend to lead to "wet dreams." |
WE complain and those who are able will still pay those fees. That's all we do. We forget that the school is not the infrastructure but rather the students. If there are no students, there won't be a school but nobody is willing to risk their education, career, etc to go defile such nonsense. For you to charge such ridiculous amount, you have to have exceptional graduation and job placement rates to back it up and they clearly don't. But then again, who am I kidding. The rich aren't getting any poorer. |
Lagos is to Nigeria as the United States is to the world. Despite the mediocre economic status and high unemployment rates in the United States (not compared to Nigeria of course), it is still the number one destination for dream seekers. Some genuinely want to go to Lagos because of its advancements and infrastructural stability but most graduates are delusional in thinking that Lagos is the place to make it big! Good Luck! |
Proving once again that our politicians do not even trust their own hospitals. How can you be a governor of a State and not get treated in your own state to prove that your state has "superior" medical integrity? If this was in the US, you won't be impeached but your political career is over. If you do your job as a governor, you shouldn't have to go outside your state for a suitable hospital. |
churific: Psalm 14:1Questioning the existence of God does bot make you a fool. It's only when you conclude in your heart that there is no God do you become one! (I had to make that very clear. Question is part of the process of becoming a Christian with unshakable foundation.) |
Such nonsense. Why the hell would you take a stranger home in the first place especially one who is clearly after money? "It's really a cat and dog game?" Seriously? If you have to resort to prostitution to fulfill your sexual needs, you're more like a desperate ant. |
What a beautiful and naturally talented actress. Some of our home-stationed actresses and so called "stars" should take note. They make one movie/show and they automatically become unrecognizable with the makeups, hair extensions and overreaching dress code. |
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God... *Let the existence of God never be in question! |
When the bible says "turn the other cheek," it's a figure of speech. It was not meant to be taken literally. Besides, the cheek is clearly not the only "slappable" part of the body. Even though we should let some things go as Christians, there's nothing wrong with self-defense when it's absolutely necessary. |
Soon enough, Obasanjo will be forced to retire to a wheelchair. I'm surprised his not in one already! |
"To help give back to the people"? What people is he giving back to? At least have the decency to provide the name of the charity or benefactors. Why don't he donate that cap and loafers to a museum. These African artists get a little fame and now they think they're Jesus of Nazareth and we would die to have their underwear hanging in our living rooms. But I'm sure some equally rich idiot will buy those overpriced items at an unreasonable price just for the hell of it. |
As if he really wants to find the right one now. This guy will milk his fame glory for as long as possible before settling down. Once he settles down, I'm afraid the "Koko Master" label will have to come off. |
As if it wasn't obvious that our beloved country Nigeria has a lot to learn. But then again, this system is decades and decades of hard work and "corruption-free" governing (comparably.) We have long ways to go to even reach 1% of such high level of effectiveness and cohesiveness. I still have hope! |
What do you mean by without "heavy makeup?" What do you call those humongous shades and hair extensions? That's already heavy. |
I didn't even read this. The title alone was unconvincing. 4 Well Kept Secrets about Womanizers? Well kept by who? I'm pretty sure all 4 so called "secrets" will be a generalization of some personal experiences and other assumed rubbish. You should probably change the title first. |
Common people, she's obviously just posing by covering one eye. She probably even doesn't even know what the hell an illuminati sign is. Besides, if there exists such a club, it's not a club you can just join like your primary school debate team. She's definitely not on the list of influential people with enough power to instantaneously affect lives globally (these so called "elitists" have so much money that they don't really need God to answer any of their prayers...) She's definitely not one of those people so let's stop the nonsensical bickering, speculations and "caring." Because if exposure is what she's intentionally looking for, then it's obviously working for her. |
Innocent until proven guilty then. Even the guilty ones will say exactly the same thing! |
