Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can My Friend Withdraw The Keke From The Rider? by ChybuzzDD(m): 3:38pm On Feb 06, 2022 |
Cleo18: One of my friends bought a keke and needed a rider for balance and take hire purchase. A keke man who stays in same area with him brought a rider for him.
My friend requested that the rider brings two responsible guarantor with tangible source of income.
My friend referred them to his lawyer. The lawyer requested for the guarantors but the keke rider has nobody except a Police woman. The lawyer advised my friend against accepting the Police woman as a guarantor for convincing reasons he shared with my friend.
The would-be keke rider started begging my friend to give him the keke and that he wouldn't disappoint him.
My friend insisted he brings 2 responsible persons with significant source of income but not Police.
The rider kept on begging, by this time my friend had travelled to another state. My friend then discussed with the lawyer on the way forward, the lawyer insisted he brings 2 other guarantors.
My friend's neighbor who's a keke rider too also started begging my friend to accept the guy. Based on compassion, my friend told the lawyer to give the guy a benefit of doubt. The lawyer prepared the usual agreement on behalf of my friend and the keke rider went with his copy.
The keke was handed over to the keke guy. This keke rider started riding the Keke mid-September last year and since then, he has always paid his weekly due to the bank account of my friend.
My friend keeps record of every transaction even though the keke rider doesn't come to sign his place.
My friend doesn't know the keke rider's place neither does my friend's neighbor knows his place of residence. They only know he stays in another town far away.
Yesterday, there was a little misunderstanding between my friend and the keke rider. My friend actually instructed the keke rider to give the keke to a friend of his who was without money as the keke rider went on a journey with this his friend and they left at night. So no money for the friend to come back to town. The keke rider said he had no money. So my friend instructed he gives the keke to this his friend (a friend of my friend, let me call him TK) so he rides to my friend's place and then my friend would give him money to continue his journey home with the mind that the keke rider would come and pick up the keke the next morning from his place (the keke owner's)
The keke rider refused giving him the keke or money. This his friend had to turn beggar from junction to junction until he got to his home around 11p.m
This kind of pissed off my friend on hearing it. He then put a call to the keke rider, asking for an explanation. The rider first lied that the guy refused the keke, but when confronted, he admitted he refused giving him the keke because he doesn't want someone else to touch his thing.
My friend requested to have a meeting with the keke rider in his place (my friend's place) today at a given time. The keke rider replied my friend that he doesn't have that time. That he has no business going to my friend's place as long as he is balancing him weekly.
Mind you, all throughout December, 2021, my friend told this keke rider to work for himself without remitting any money to him so he could take proper care of his family during the Christmas and New year celebration.
Now, my friend requested the keke rider come to his place today at a stated time. When the time was getting near, my friend called the rider to inform him. He said he's leaving his place to my friend's. About 30minutes later, my friend called him again, then he told my friend that he couldn't come to his place. He asked him what was he going to do in my friend's place, that he's tired.
Then my friend got angry and asked of the keke, the rider said he didn't come to town with it. My friend said he should meet him in his place, he told my friend that he won't. Then my friend asked him if when he met with the lawyer the lawyer told him the keke belongs to him automatically, he said no.
In anger, my friend told him to come to his place with the keke, then he told my friend that he shouldn't disturb him. He ended the call.
My friend started calling him, by then my friend was already getting angry. When he finally picked, my friend actually said he is very stupid for how he's talking to him. Again, he ended the call on my friend. This provoked my friend who kept on calling and calling while he's not picking.
When he finally picked, in anger, my friend said he must be mad. That he should come with his keke. He said he didn't come to town with my friend's keke and he's gone to somewhere else (an area after my friend's place). When my friend kept on insisting, then he told my friend that he should do whatever he wants to do. That he should bring his lawyer and police, that if they can locate him, okay, but for now, he has seized the keke. He ended the call.
My friend called me, I went to meet him. We were calling the keke rider's line, he was wasting our credit and telling us he has seized the keke and that my friend should do his worst.
I asked my friend if he knows where he lives, he said it's in a village outside town, very far and that he doesn't even know the location like that, but if we go there, we will try to locate his place, that he can try his best since he's been there only once.
We kept on calling the keke rider, he was bragging that he had seized the keke. So my friend said God must punish his family for that statement. They started exchanging words. I picked up the phone from my friend and informed the guy that since he said he's not with the keke, we were going to his place.
Then 30minutes later while we were pacing up and down, my friend called the guy again, this time, he's with the elder sister of my friend. My friend instructed his sister to take the key of the keke.
We drove there. When we got there, we met the keke guy begging. The elder sister then appealed on behalf of the keke guy. My friend never wanted to give the keke guy the key again, he wanted the business ended immediately but the elder sister prevailed.
My friend is not comfortable, I am not comfortable. We want the keke retrieved.
My friend is a very private person but this keke rider had gone to tell his family about the issue.
My friend called me an hour ago and said he's not comfortable that the guy went with the keke napep. The keke rider is to come and take us to his house tomorrow so my friend and others know the place but my friend doesn't want the rider again. I also don't want him.
Please, can my friend terminate the contract? Remember, the whole of December, he gave this keke rider privilege to work for himself and his family without remitting a kobo to my friend.
My friend is a very soft, generous and private person. He doesn't get angry easily but once he does, he always wants his decision respected.
Please can he terminate the contract? Can he take the key from the keke guy tomorrow?
Can he insist on him bringing his guarantors? Remember, the rider didn't bring a qualified guarantor initially, he was given the keke based on compassionate ground. In everything you do, never go into any business or employ anyone, especially a Nigerian, out of sympathy/compassion. They'll almost always disappoint you. |

That’s Bashir profile name and you can see it’s the same as that of the person that Tweeted.
Infact he even tweeted more like example below. Why do some stupid Nigerians always love to misspell and mispronounce 'Igbo' as 'Ibo'? Do you guys also misspell "Igbogho" as "Ibogho", "Drogba" as "Droba", "Igbobi" as "Ibobi", "Gbagada" as "Bagada", etc, assuming "gb" is a problem to you? The word "Igbo" is derived from the Igbo language, and not from your own language, and should be spelt and pronounced with respect to the language from which it originated. Do you guys also misspell and misspronounce English words and names, for instance, to suit your own native language? If that were the case, you wouldn't be able to pass English in WAEC and JAMB. This nonsense has to stop, as i see it as derogatory. Learn how the Igbos pronounce "gb" the same way you learnt how the English man pronounces "ph", for example. Next time i hear "Ibo" from any of you again, I'll remove your 4 upper, front teeth, assuming they haven't already fallen off. |

3exe3: There has been a wave of banning university students from driving cars into campus, the reason for this though has not been known. But whatever the reason might be i think the universities are not making the right decision. They(universities) can take advantage of the rise in students car by generating revenue from it.
I came up with the opinion that those universities or poly or colleges who have extra space can use that space as a parking lot for students and create daily taxation for any student who wishes to park his car in school premises.
Such students must park their cars on the designated space for a parking lot until they are done with whatever business they have on campus, if it turns out there is not enough space to contain the cars anymore the best option i think is to increase the tax thereby discouraging some students but not all students.
what do you think? You should have found out the reason first before coming to write about it here. The reason they took that decision was clearly stated. Safeguarding the society is far more important than making money. Everything is not about money, as we see it in Nigeria. |

Goodvibes8: Happy new month Dear nairalanders. Pls i really your advice on this issue.
My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and 3 months, I intend to make her my wife. She is always on her recommended glasses because of her eyesight, She is a great, beautiful and brilliant girl but she lacks patience, she is not always patient with me.
She is a kind of girl that if she need something from you, just be ready to give her what she asked instantly and immediately else she will give you attitude.
I take good care of her, we go out on dates, I send her money for up-keep, I always try to be a good and better man for her, she is not a bitch and I love her so much.
Exactly this time last week, I sent her 35k for her up-keep. So yesterday evening (6pm) she called me and she said her glass lenses has expired, she can barely see and it's causing her serious headache, that she needed 25k to renew the lens.
I gently told her I can't do transfer at the moment, let her use the money I sent to her last week to sort it out first, then I would send everything back to her including the money for her glass lens in 4 days time.
She started giving me attitude, she said the money isn't up to 25k in her account, that she has used part of the money. I also explained the reason why I can't do transfer but she didn't listen, from 7pm yesterday till today she refused to pick my calls.
This morning, I have to make some calls to my friends to help me with some cash, then I sent her the 25k to go see her optometrist doctor. Infact what happened is just a tip of an iceberg, I can't even narrate what she done on several occasions, She doesn't care if you have what she need. Everything about her is urgent!!
I see this her behavior as a red flag. What should I do? I love her, she's a first class graduate. Pls don't call me a simp. I just need advice Pls. What happened to her parents Once that other crazy guy blast you with his ''old KALA'', kindly let us know so we can send in our congratulatory messages to him. |

Godada:

You could be right based on your submission. However, Nigerians basically have got an A when it comes to copying anything that seems to work.
These rituals are tied to yahoo and yahoo plus. Young guys engage in this in a bid to cash out. This is what is prevalent and everyone wants to jump into the bandwagon.
If bet9ja really plays, you will find that most of these ritualists would have embraced betting.
Should something else lucrative that pays well pop up, you will experience a bandwagon of guys jumping onboard.
I feel that the aspect of human resources, services and capital has not been fully exploited in this country.
The government of the day is obsessed with crude oil but China without any natural resources are easily one of wealthiest countries around. And they did this without rituals. All of you are the same with this archaic belief As long as Nigerians foolishly believe that one can make money through ritual killings, these evil acts will continue. Now, considering the highlighted, since you guys so much believe in Juju, how come no one is using juju or engaging in ritual killings to win games and millions in Bet9ja?? Do you know why? The herbalists can't deceive you that you have won a game when you haven't, while in yahoo plus, he can easily take glory for money the yahoo boy struggled to make with his already perfected format. Without those useless formats they're using, they won't make any money. There's no such thing as getting rich through ritual killing. Nigerians need serious re-orientation from this foolish and primitive belief. |

backbencher: The problem is that we pay for subsides from the same money we use to pay for crude oil...and it means that as the cost of producing the petrol from crude oil rises, so does the cost of subsides.
This leads to us taking money from other sectors to pay for subsides...and puts us in big trobule.
As you probably know, societies that have some form of subsidies don't pay for the subsidy from their oil revenue, they pay for it from a tax.
Finally, oil revenue is not enough for us. We produce about 1.3-2 million barrels of crude a day and we are 200 million people. Countries like Saudi, UAE and Qatar produce about the same (or in Saudi case, about 10million barrels of crude a day) for 40 million, 12million and 1.3 million people respectively, which is why they can afford subsides sans sweat. They earn enough revenue from oil.We cannot. Our populaiton is too big for the revenue we earn from crude to sustain us. Always has been.
Good am, and do have a good day. This guy keeps committing blunders while desperately trying to defend his criminally-minded politicians and co-travellers. The Arab countries you mentioned, and their neighbours, subsidize fuel for their citizens, and their citizens don't pay any tax. I live in one of those countries, and do not pay any tax. That's one of the gains of having crude oil. There must be something Nigerians should be able to benefit from the oil God blessed their land with. Unfortunately, people like you have conspired with criminals to ensure they're completely deprived of those benefits. Just find a place and rest, you cannot successfully defend those thieves in Nigeria. |

That's why it has to go...and the market will take over.
Other African countries sell fuel higher than we do, and they are as poor as we are, and some are even poorer. Do those other African countries have more fuel/crude oil than you do? Onye iberibe! |
