Remdesivir is not a vaccine! It's a drug meant for treatment of infected patients.
Vaccines are for prevention in healthy, uninfected people, and not for treatment.
Nigerians ignorantly refer to drugs for treatment as vaccines.

Let me burst your bubble before you throw the first punch at me.

When you compare Nigeria to other countries where this disease is currently holding sway in regards to how they collate data to patients death,do this not ring an alarm to you.

When you compare Nigeria to other countries where this disease is currently holding sway in regards to new cases, recovery rates and number of index cases,do this not ring an alarm to you.

When you compare Nigeria to other countries where this disease is currently holding sway in regards to physical sighting of covid-19 corpses as seen in other countries that are currently combating it,do this not ring an alarm to you.

When you compare Nigeria to other countries where this disease is currently holding sway in regards to measures been put in place to fight this virus like numbers of protective gears, hand gloves, face masks, ventilators, testing kits and what have you donated to hospitals and isolation centers, do this not ring an alarm to you.

When you compare how Nigeria fought Ebola Virus Disease EVD in 2014,that is a whooping six goddamn years to how they are currently fighting this in regards to citizens apathy to the existence of this virus,do this not ring an alarm to you.

Majority of Nigerians does not believe in the existence of this disease on the onset even to this moment,is what you know that kills you and not what you don't know.

The above last paragraph is not even the issue, the issue is that Corona virus does not exist in Nigeria which is back up with facts up their.

I was taken to the top pinnacle where I was given an eagles’s eye to for say that There is no Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nigeria. I come with fact and History and I plea you reason with me.

The Coronavirus is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).The outbreak was identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

Coronavirus was declared a Global pandemic on March 11, 2020 backward to February 28, 2020 Nigeria so called recorded the first Patient who they say he came in from Italy.

Before I proceed let me remind you that Nigeria is a country that has up to 200 Million People, geeing upto 9,000 Professors with millions of Graduates but still we cannot ask questions as enlightened people.

It is only when we begin to ask our leaders questions and we pressure them to answer those questions that we will have an Accountable and transparent nation of which we can call our own.

Meanwhile on the 21st of March 2020 the first index Nigeria Case an Italian was discharged and up till today we don’t know him.
When this Foreigner entered Nigeria and was quarantined we didn’t get to see a picture of this man and even his name everything was hidden to Nigerians.

Every morning and Evening I sit in my parlor with my eyes so keen to my Television wanting to see the Nigerians that has been Infected with this Coronavirus but lo and Behold I cannot see not even one.
When I log in my twitter account and then go through the The official Twitter account of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) I get scary figures day by day. Some days up to 20 Cases will be reported and I keep asking my Self where are those people.

I stand to be corrected with fact, I will keep saying that There is No Coronavirus in Nigeria, if there is Coronavirus and we have those confirmed cases here in Nigeria then Our Mainstream media should do the needful, Our Government should allow the media do the needful.

Now let’s flashback to when we had Ebola Outbreak in Nigeria we were able to see those who were infected, Even the First man Who came in to the Country name.........

I just hope the virus would infect and kill you so that those you've succeeded in deceiving and misleading will learn a swift lesson from you.
Medicine has ethical principles, and nobody owes you any picture of any patient, unless the patient wants it to go public.
Go and read about confidentiality. Medicine is not politics.
The pictures you see from abroad were taken with the consent of the patients and/or their family members, by their hardworking media
How many of your fellow religious and superstitious-minded Nigerians would give consent for their pictures to be made public?? You think governments have the right to snap pictures and release? Shouldn't you go and borrow some sense??
HealthRe: Covid-19 Is It Worth Dying for here in Nigeria? Doctors and scientist only by ChybuzzDD(m): 7:25am On Apr 20, 2020

The Govt has never for once valued healthcare personal in this country. But as of recent, they want to pay doctors 50k per day, cause this virus doesn't fear the rich or poor, also cause they have nowhere to go.

I studied med lab but will never enter the lab to run tests on anything at all. The doctor that just died from covid-19, will the federal govt give the family anything? During my internship I saw how medical doctors suffered from lack of payments, to lack of facilities in the hospital. While the leaders go abroad to treat themselves. Now they remember doctors in Nigeria exist, and I heard in a news that they want to pay health workers 50k perday. Oh now you remember us Abi? You never knew hazard pay was 5k Abi, but a senator will collect wardrobe, bedroom, shit, food even allowance we have never heard of.. My own opinion. We were never valued, and I can't accept to be valued when things are hard.

Thanks for the concern the pain is usually felt only on her right arm probably inside the bone and when it starts like this she sweats a lot and the complete arm like from the shoulder to the tip of the fingernails goes numb as she wouldn't feel anything on it
Ok. The pain may actually be arising from a compressed nerve(a neuropathic pain) along its pathway from the neck to the arm, and not necessarily from the bone.
Some patients may also have associated neck pain, if the compression is from bone spurs in the neck.
She may need to have a neck X-Ray done.
While still searching for the diagnosis, you can place her on Tabs Lyrica(Pregabalin) 75mg twice daily to reduce the neuropathic pain.

Hello doctors in the house pardon my typo errors and blunder. Please I need someone to come to my rescue. My mother always complains about some kind of pain in her right hand inside the bone and sometimes the whole hand goes numb. She has visited a lot of hospitals and taken a lot of drugs with the issue arising sooner. She was advised to check her blood pressure which appears normal and fine. She has also taken a lot of injection which in turn is already affecting her and the drugs is irritating her to eat a lot. PLEASE anyone with a suggestion to how we can defeat this should please come to our aid as I have searched all over for any answer to this all over with no tangible answer....thanks so much
Where exactly is the pain and numbness located?
In medicine/anatomy, the hand is the part of the upper limb from the wrist to the fingers.
Do you mean the pain and numbness are around the wrist , palm and fingers, excluding the forearm, arm and shoulder?
Or do you mean from the shoulder to the fingers?
Different things cause different problems in different parts of the body.
Make these clarifications better, otherwise it'll be difficult to give any meaningful professional advice.

HealthRe: I Fall Sick Whenever My Hair Grows, What Could Be The Cause? by ChybuzzDD(m): 10:33am On Apr 16, 2020
TalkTalkTwins:
Hello guys,

Good day everyone!

I just have a little problem, though it is not a problem except that I like my hair grown... haha!
Okay, whenever I let my hair grow to a particular stage, I fall sick. I mean, seriously sick that I can't stand up or walk.

I noticed it first in my 100L in school, since that was the first time I was opportune to let my hair grow so well. The sickness came midnight, and in the morning I rushed to get a cut and got fine without any medication.

The second time, I was in 200L. I got sick and called my mum to tell her I was going to return home for treatment, my hair was grown and I knew she'd complain about it and visited the barber first.

When I reached home same day, no medications, no treatments at all, I became very fine.

In my third year again, I let my hair grow. It was giving me signs that I'd soon get sick, and I ignored it. It came again midnight, and I couldn't sleep. Fever, headaches, stomach pains, legs were aching and I could barely see.

In the morning I rushed to the barber's shop, as early as 6 o'clock. I didn't even let him carve my hair... haha!

He just barbed me, I rushed home and fell on my bed. I didn't lock the doors, no bathing, nothing.
When I woke up, the sickness was mysteriously gone.

Now I'm confused because this is so abnormal.
I have only heard of people who had dreadlocks, and would get sick whenever they barb them. Why is my own so different? Worst surprise, I'm an identical twin but it doesn't happen to my brother.

Has anyone else had or heard of a similar case? What could be the solution? I have made tons of Google searches and yet no reasonable help at all.

I asked some people and they were telling me to ask my parents. my biological parents are no more around and I don't even know who else to ask...Lol
Hmmm, I hope Samson has not come to the world again?
In your first coming, your strength was in your hair.
Now, in your second coming, your weakness is in your hair.
Delilah really thought you a bitter lesson. But if she shaves it now, she will be disappointed you will grow stronger instead of weaker! What a game!

This is a severe type of Acne Vulgaris(pimples by laymen). Acne occurs in areas with high concentrations of sebaceous glands(the oil producing glands in the skin), hence the involvement of your face and pubic/perineal areas.

Factors responsible for acne include hyper proliferation of the follicular epithelial cells, excessive sebum/oil production, inflammation and infection of the follicles by a bacterium(not fungus) called Propionibacterium acni.

Your treatment regimen must be able to address at least 2 of these causative factors.
For this severe type, combination therapy is needed, consisting of a topical agent(cream) and an oral medication.

Propionibacterium acni does not respond to Cefuroxime(self medication is self deception).

You can use topical 5% Benzoyl Peroxide(Acnicide) + oral Doxycycline OR Acnicide + oral Isotretinoin.
Treatment should be followed patiently, and may last for over 4weeks. There's no magic wand for Acne Vulgaris as some charlatans are advertising here.

johnmba:
I will try and make it brief.

I met a lady on Tuesday 2 weeks before the lockdown in an office. We exchanged pleasantries and she gave me her number. I called her later in the evening to check up on her.

On Saturday that same week, I put a call to her around 7am to find out if we can meet later in the day, She agreed. Around 4pm I called again but she said she is tired and needed to rest. She advised me to do like. I agreed and told her am going to shoprite to pick one or two things before going home but to my surprise she said ok can I meet you there?...

For 2 seconds I was shocked and asked her to come. trust me I know what I was doing. While at shoprite I dodged her calls and called her when I was on my way home.

I thought she has given up but she said she will wait for me at one junction. Again i agreed but on getting there I met her at one boutique. She said want to pick up some clothes from there. I said to myself can you imagine this girl. I told her to go on and select while I wait outside. After awhile I told her am going and I entered my car and zoom off.

Did I do anything wrong as some people said I was wicked.
But she hadn't asked you to pay yet. Who knows if she actually wanted to pay by herself? The human mind can be unpredictable.
You should have patiently waited to see how it would pan out.

HealthRe: Is STD Untreatable? by ChybuzzDD(m): 7:02am On Apr 14, 2020
STD for 3yrs? The problem with Nigerians is that they make their diagnosis at home, or at the roadside laboratories and then go to the hospitals with their lab results and pressurize the doctor to treat them based on the results they presented.

An STD cannot be going on actively for 3yrs consecutively, unless you're immunocompromised. What manner of STD is that? If you contracted an STD 3yrs ago, by now you would be talking about the complications(chronic pain, infertility, painful intercourse, etc) arising from the infection, and not the active infection itself.

What are the symptoms you're having? That a lab culture shows some growth of bacteria doesn't mean you have the infection. Bacteria can be present as contaminants or colonisers.
If you don't have symptoms, you don't have any infection. Did the hospitals you visited take history from you, examined you, investigated you, and concluded you have an STD, or you just believe you have an STD based solely on lab results?

Thanks.

It means Rhesus factor has lesser danger than Genotype in considering a partner?

What are the best scenario to avoid Rhesus problem.

Should a Rhesus Negative man marry a Rhesus Negative woman and Positive marry Positive?
You can say rhesus factor has a 'lesser danger' than genotype in that mortality in rhesus factor incompatibility is easily preventable. But both can cause serial deaths and marital disharmony, and should be considered before marriage.

About 95% of people are rhesus positive(so it'll be difficult to get 2 Rh negatives to marry via random selection). Problem will only occur if a Rh negative woman marries a Rh positive man, and not vice versa. Usually, a Rh negative woman should ideally marry a Rh negative man, but where this fails to occur, good antenatal care and appropriate use of Rhogam will be able to forestall any issue.

A Rh positive woman can marry any man irrespective of the Rhesus factor. Problem is only with a Rh negative woman and a Rh positive man, and as I said earlier, problems resulting from Rh incompatibility can be prevented with good antenatal and postnatal care.
HealthRe: Doctors In The House: Kindly Respond by ChybuzzDD(m): 4:36pm On Apr 13, 2020
[quote author=deltateam post=88400730]I watched a movie where a Rhesus Negative woman who had an abortion earlier before marriage had 3 successive post birth child mortality.

She visited a doctor who explained to her about Rhesus factor and how it affected the deaths.

Is it true that Rhesus factor can bring death of babies?[/quote
Yes, very true. Rhesus incompatibility is one of the causes of prenatal mortality. I hope those 3 mortalities have not been blamed on one innocent old woman in her village, seen as a witch?
Ignorance has destroyed many things in Africa!
She is Rhesus negative, and I believe the husband is rhesus positive, and with that, all have babies will be rhesus positive.
Usually, the first pregnancy has no problem as the woman is not yet sensitized
In her own case, the exchange of blood between her and the foetus during the abortion sensitized her. What this means is that, the entrance of the baby's blood into the mother's circulatory system caused her to develop antibodies(these are one of the attacking arsenals of the immune system) against the rhesus positive blood from the foetus/baby.
And these antibodies will begin to circulate in the mother's blood, looking for a rhesus positive blood to attack.
In her next pregnancy, they will attack the baby's blood cells, if any event leads to exchange of blood between the mother and the foetus.
If no event happens during pregnancy, and the foetus escapes, then, certainly during delivery exchange of maternal and fetal blood will occur, and these antibodies will have access to the baby's circulatory system, and the blood cells will be destroyed, leading to death.
Thus, death can occur either during pregnancy or after delivery.
There's a drug called Rhogam that prevents all these problems, and I don't understand while those who provide her antenatal services do not place her on it.
HealthRe: I Need Remedy For Typhoid And Ulcer Ailments . by ChybuzzDD(m): 12:02pm On Apr 13, 2020
Nigerians and typhoid! Once there's a medical issue, it must be typhoid! Is typhoid the only disease in Nigeria? I hope you people know that it is not easy for a person living a relatively clean life especially in the city to contract typhoid? Typhoid is contracted when you eat food or drink water contaminated with faeces bearing Salmonella organisms. Do you all drink from the stream and eat from the toilet or with hands contaminated with faeces??
People should be going to the hospital for full medical evaluation and investigations, and not just to test for typhoid fever which is very rare in this modern Nigeria.

Typhoid fever is not as common as it is being taunted, and a single Widal test showing raised antibody titres does not diagnose typhoid fever. You need a blood, stool or urine culture or demonstration of serial increments in antibody titres to diagnose typhoid fever. This madness of typhoid fever in Nigerian private hospitals and roadside laboratories should stop.

I didn't eat any berries, in fact I know the difference. This is blood, lots of it. Like I'm menstruating type of blood splashing all over the toilet. I noticed this after popping yesterday and I'm scared as F*@k! I have never seen this before, I don't feel any pain in my rectum. I once had pile when I was 16 so I know how painful it is and I see a bit of blood after going to toilet. But this is fresh blood and it's just too much to ignore, I don't know what to do or where to begin, I also noticed this morning I fill a tiny bit of pain like mild cramps on my lower abdomen, it's nothing on usual but I'm scared of using the toilet. Please what does this mean? Before you say colorectal cancer please I'm 26 and we don't have that in our family history. Thanks.
Bright red painless bleeding during defecation in a young person is almost always haemorrhoids/pile.
Piles are not painful, except where complications occur.
What you had in the past that was painful with "a bit of blood" was most probably anal fissure, and not haemorrhoids/pile.
This current one, considering your age, appears to be haemorrhoids(first degree haemorrhoids, if there's no protrusion on defecation), but you need to visit a hospital/clinic for that diagnosis to be confirmed.
Before then, you need to soften your stool if it's hard.
Running away from the toilet may make it worse, as the accumulated, hard stool will cause more bleeding the next time you decide to defecate.
