Uduaghan has 6 big cities to deal with: Warri, Asaba, Sapele, Ughelli, Agbor and Abraka. Amaechi on the other hand has to deal with just Port Harcourt. And yet, Warri is catching up with Port Harcourt in all ramifications. Warri was previously no match for Port Harcourt. Uduaghan has built roads in the same way Amaechi has built, but Uduaghan has had to do it in 5 different cities while Amaechi deals with just 1.

Uduaghan has had, I think the best Transport policy in the country. This is one area where you can hardly fault the man. Amaechi on the other hand didn't do anything despite banning bikes to alleviate the hardship in the trasporetation sector. His Light rail project is light years ahead of completion and has been since abandoned.

So I don't understand why Amaechi makes all the noise he makes when a very critisized Governor like Uduaghan has performed better than he has despite having bigger challenges.

Just imagine all thes project that Uduaghan has since completed with about half of Amaechi's budget!

The Governors of the affected state should take up this road with the relevant authorities. Moreso as it will be the only Federal dual carriage road to pass through Ebonyi State.[/size]

A lot of people still do not know about the Enugu route.Especially the many business people in Onitsha area. I was speaking yesterday to my friend living in Onitsha about it and he swore he just heard it from me.He thought GEJ was building the International terminal so that the airport can finally begin international flights!He had booked all his flights via Turkish airline,the favorite of his travel agents and SE traders. A lot of sensitization need to be done and SE state governments should use their radio and TV stations to advertise the new international flights from Enugu via Ethiopian.People here also need to start spreading the message to families and friends too, of course not on Nairaland but in the real world.

Again,all the Onitsha business community use travel agents to book their travel.These travel agents already have commissions with most other foreign airlines when they book these passengers. The Ethiopian airline isn't a favorite of travel agents,therefore,it must take a few steps to make their tickets very accessible in these target markets of Onitsha,Aba,Owerri ,Abakaliki, Benin and Warri. They do not physically need to set up offices in those cities, they could use a designated bank as a point where customers could go and make flight reservations or buy tickets.

For Onitsha in particular, Ethiopian airline opening a small booking office at the newly completed ICT building in Onitsha will help a lot of business people to easily walk into their office and book their own flights. Although the airline believes the Polo park city office is sufficient. Since our people don't use internet for business, i personally know that business men prefer the convenience of using travel agents or simply to walk into a nearby airline city office to book their flights. Either way, Ethiopian airline is at a disadvantage.
