The winner of the presidential election depends on insiders information to prove his actual votes, while INEC that is supposed to be an unbiased umpire fights tooth and nail to hide their fraud and robbery of Alhaji Atiku of his mandate. |

[s] Idokojimmy: "...Failure is an orphan"
The Presidential and National Assembly elections have come and gone, with President Muhammadu Buhari emerging victorious. Interestingly, the outcome of the elections which has been controverted by the PDP has been hailed by local and international observers. Consequently, world powers including China, UK, US, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Ghana among others have all congratulated Buhari.
Sadly, unlike the widely celebrated Jonathan who accepted defeat by congratulating Buhari in 2015, Atiku has vowed to seek redress in court, claiming that the exercise was rigged. More intriguing is the fact that despite appeal from traditional rulers (Sultan, Ooni of Ife, Emir of Kano etc), eminent lawyers including Falana and Agbakoba; religious clerics including Apostle Suleiman; Atiku has insisted on approaching the court.
It is clear that Atiku is being pushed to seek redress by some of his close associates. These associates may be doing so for many obvious reasons. Some of them include the Senate President, who doubled as his campaign Director General, former President Obasanjo, Fani-Kayode, Ayodele Fayose, Uche Secondus, Babangida Aliyu, Edwin Clark, Bode George and a host of others.
Glaringly, these political gladiators are pushing Atiku for personal reasons. For instance, while Obasanjo could be doing so in order to save face, having been demystified, Saraki is fighting the battle of his life to save his collapsed political dynasty having failed to even secure a return to the Senate. Secondus may be contemplating savoring the joy of leading the party to victory against the incumbent while others in the class of Fani-Kayode, Fayose, Aliyu and Lamido might be doing so in order to evade ongoing prosecution by the EFCC. They're also others who believed that Atiku gained serious financial backings from Dubai based Arab businessmen and thus if they could push him further they might get their own fair share of the 'Arab money.'
Worrisomely, Atiku seems not to interpret unfolding events correctly. In case he has forgotten, it was the same politicians that were very close to MKO Abiola, including his Vice President, Babagana Kingibe that betrayed him by taking up appointments with the Abacha Government, the same government that invalidated their election victory in June 12. According to Abacha's CSO, al-Mustapha, other Yoruba leaders including members of the famous NADECO who did not get appointment were settled handsomely with millions of US Dollars.
Already, Atiku's Campaign DG, Gbenga Daniel has abandoned him and the party. He is set to join the APC, having betrayed the party by supporting the APC in Ogun state governorship election. The Igbos that massively supported him in the election are realigning in order to secure the position of the Senate President.
Buhari has promised an all inclusive government and some of Atiku's men are already reaching out. While Buhari remains tight fisted, his hatched men will be generous to calm nerves and some of Atiku's men might smile to the bank or new offices, leaving Atiku alone to suffer Abiola's fate. His men are increasingly being alarmed by the massive acceptance that Buhari is gaining including from countries they thought were their friends.
Atiku has to decide, to either toe the part of honour or the part of shame. Will Atiku be in court alone like an orphan? TIME SHALL TELL.

@lalasticlala, @seun, [/s] All these shameless writers promoting electoral brigandage and daylight robbery in Nigeria. If future Presidents of Nigeria follow the Buhari example and refuse to concede defeat, instead they will manipulate numbers to give themselves victory, then what hope do we have for good governance in Nigeria?
Goodluck Jonathan allowed free and fair elections and even congratulated Buhari for defeating him! Buhari refused to allow free and fair elections and manipulated numbers to steal Atiku's victory at the polls.
It's so sad for Nigeria to retrogress into the age where the people vote don't count and dictators merely announce numbers to declare themselves "winners". Then deploy troops to kill Nigerians who dare to protest. |

OriakuAmara: I will make my findings short and then we discuss. When Rabiu kwankwaso decamped to PDP and refused to return to the Senate, I started suspecting something fishy. Many thought that he will motivate his kwankwasiya group to vote for Atiku in the last presidential election but nothing like that happened, they voted massively for buhari, his core Fulani brother, Fast forward to Kano election, the same kwankwasiyas that voted massively for Buhari are strongly in the process of disposing a sitting APC governor and imposing a PDP one, It's obvious that kwankwaso worked against atiku just to protect the Fulani interest, Atiku is not a core Fulani man. Still examining the man called kwankwaso, a core Fulani fanatic like buhari, popular in the north, I have this feeling that he was asked by the Fulani cabals to shun returning to the Senate in order to stay away from any scandal and then launch his presidential bid with PDP in 2023, with cabals knowing fully well that APC will present a southern Christian in 2023 And a kwankwaso under PDP will conquer the north in 2023 election, Never forget he decamped with another core Fulani man and current governor of sokoto Tambuwal, And the cabals want PDP to hold down Kano and sokoto ahead of 2023. Is this a plot by Fulani cabals to stay in power till 2031? I may be wrong. Let's discuss. Whether we like it or not, the PDP will leave it's Presidency slot to the north. Kwankwaso or Atiku may still have it. APC can make Osinbajo or Sowore it's aspirant |

It is so shameful that Nigeria degenerated to the level of the President merely writing numbers and telling INEC to announce them as results, regardless of how the people voted.
Even Abacha didn't do that much! Babangida atleast allowed the true votes to be announced which showed Abiola had won. Abacha asked Nigerians to campaign for him and vote for him . Imagine if Abacha merely organized sham elections like the 2019 election and used INEC to announce whatever numbers he liked to award himself "winner" and another 4 years in office?
It's truly disastrous that this is happening under a "democratic" setting. |

In the last 4 years, Ghana has become the choice investment destination for West Africa rather than Lagos, Nigeria. Ghana has continued impressive economic growth that has lifted more Ghanaians out of poverty.
The Nigerian economy which should be one of the fastest growing in Africa has continued to stagnate and poverty has continue to rise in Nigeria.
Buhari has continued with lying about his mismanagement of the economy and refusing to acknowledge that lack of a proper economic team has worsened the quality of economic strategies used under Buhari.

OreMI22: We are hoping that Nigerians will help defend democracy by snapping and reporting the results announced and displayed at their polling centers to facebook ,NL or other social media. PDP should also provide a national number where result sheet pictures can be texted or emailed.
We know INEC is planning to transmit fake results from the local level to the national level to deceive foreign observers at INEC headquarters that the fake numbers are real.
ThePDP should set its own election situation room and plug in all the figures sent by PDP agents at the local level into an EXCEL document to easily total the figures. That way, they can tell when INEC is announcing fake numbers different from the votes in the result sheets sent in by their field agents at the polling stations.
The aim is to expose INEC's determination to insert fake results for the ruling party. So there must be vigilance of watching results coming from the local polling units to the state collation centers.
INEC is determined to rig the elections for Buhari no matter what.
The issue is to ask Nigerians to remain in the polling stations until the results are announced and THEY SHOULD USE THEIR PHONES AND TAKE PICTURES OF THE DISPLAYED RESULT SHEET.
INEC will try everything possible to insert fake numbers and do the bidding of the incumbent who appointed them. It is the responsibility of Nigerians to make sure our votes count by remaining vigilant and posting the final displayed result to social media or their party's national telephone number. |

Now Buhari's only plot is how to use INEC and our security forces to rig himself back into office having failed to deliver on none of his promises. Buhari's APC are already burning voting materials in Peter Obi's state. Reports are pointing that the same thing is planned for most PDP states to use violence or ask the military to deploy and intimidate people going out to vote.

Buhari will lose the elections for sure, but WON'T ACCEPT IT AND HE WILL RIG THE RESULT.
Buhari has already planted agents in INEC to help him manipulate the figures. INEC keeps creating more polling units to make it harder to track their fraud.
PDP must instruct agents to snap CLEAR pictures of the result sheets at each polling station and text it to a central telephone line with the name of the polling unit. That way, when INEC declares false results in a state where PDP knows they have already won, then can immediately detect what is going on.
The problem now is how to make the votes from the local to state INEC remain valid. |
