Now you know it was Buhari that sent Junaid Muhammed to say all he said. So begin strategizing using every means necessary. Forget trying to get jobs in Buhari regime.
How does that concern me? Northern fanatics have always plotted against Nigeria from October 1st 1960 and we have simply kept quiet and allowed it to happen. Until we are ready to call the northern bluff, I don't care of they invite Bin laden to live in Kano government house.
sdindan: N'DJAMENA (Reuters) - Chad has sentenced 10 members of Nigeria-based Islamist militant group Boko Haram to death on terrorism charges, judicial sources said on Friday.
"They are all sentenced to death," said one of the sources.
Chad's capital N'Djamena, less than 100 kilometres from the Nigerian border, was hit by a series of suicide bombings in June and July that killed more than 40 people.
I love Chad for their honesty in fighting the scourge of Boko Haram. Killers of human beings are given deserving penalty for their crimes against humanity.
If this were Nigeria, they will sentence them to 6 months imprisonment and try to create national scare by moving them around from one geographic zone to another.
Those expressing displeasure at Buhari's appointment should ask themselves if he has done anything he said he wouldn't do? Buhari campaigned and was voted for his promise to appoint only men of integrity into his cabinet. I must say that i respect him for using the same integrity standard to judge both his friends and enemies.
The appointment may seem lopsided, as some Geo-political zones have not benefited yet. But the bottom-line is that Nigerians want men of proven integrity that can get things done for the country even if my brother or zone does not benefit personally. the interest of Nigeria should supersede our selfish interests. If you appoint my cousin and he makes the country worse off, what benefit have i derived from his appointment?
Let us allow Buhari to complete his appointments and plan for Nigeria, then we can judge if the man had acted in the best interest of Nigeria or for self aggrandizement for himself and his cronies.
Krucifax: Much has been made of President Buhari's recent appointments. Some see them as being nepotism, with him giving a majority of the appointments so far to Northerners. In response to this some have defended by saying that under Jonathan the Northerners were also not given a fair shot at key positions. This list below totally debunks that. It shows that whilst Jonathan had many failings nepotism and traibalism was not one. GEJ ran an inclusive government, and we admonish Mr President to do the same. Competence, ability and integrity is not the sole preserve of any one region. You should have a government that reflects the diversity of the great nation of Nigeria.

Please feel free to share this list with other so they are also enlightened.
Fortunately GEJ appointed more northerners than any southern President in Nigeria's history.
kingdompropty: It no longer news that we have a sectional president. A president that have only given the whole south 25% patronage leaving out one of the worlds 10 most populous ethnic group the Ndigbos.
I feel sad when people like the quota system professor talk about the north been marginalized under GEJ even though they held the following offices then.
1. VP.
2. Senate president.
3. Speakership.
4. NSA.
5. CDS.
6. CNS.
7. Customs CG.
8. Immigration CG.
9. Police IG.
10. NNPC - Andrew Yakubu.
11. NPA .
12. CJN.
The list is endless.
If Mr. Buhari can convince me that we don't have competent hands down south then I would rest my case. I don't believe all southerners are rogues as they would want us to believe.
Even individuals that played hatchet roles in the evil days of a maximum ruler is been compensated in this government. What an irony.
The trend I see recently is that of divide and rule. Even the most vocal chanters are beginning to loose faith in this government. Unless something urgent is done all the goodwill they have managed to build will fizzle out.
I urge our leaders in southern zone to begin to speak out urgently disregarding party or ethnic affinity. Some saw this early enough to raise the red flag others asked for more time and understanding. I think as the saying goes a stitch in time saves nine.
APC as a part must begin to build themself into an institution as what I see is a scattered party. Like the igbo will say- church onye mere nkeya meaning a church without leadership, from Saraki to Dagora to Mr. President no one understands the other.
Ministerial list would be out in a few days, up until this time no member of Mr Presidents team can talk about any qualified individual, while this is good I believe we have on the extreme end a DICTATOR in the making.
There is no need for a gang up because Buhari appointed competent 'Nigerians" into his government.
The worst PMB can do is to make all his appointees indigenes of northwest and northeast. He has not done that, so chill for him. Biko!
175: A national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, has said that the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari and the governing party are currently taking the country to a new direction in order to regain its place in the comity of nations. Onu, who stated this when a delegation from the National Democratic Institute (NDI) led by Nana Ato Dadzie visited him in Abuja on Thursday, added that the new path was crucial to the re- discovery of the country’s lost glory. “It is very clear now that the President is taking Nigerians in a new direction, and this new direction is very important because we are trying to rediscover many of the values that made Nigeria a very great nation. “Values that were somehow overlooked; these are values that a society need to become a great nation. Values like honesty and patriotism because Nigeria was born a great nation and Nigeria did great things in the past and there are so much expectations, not just in Africa but all over the world. “We believe that the new direction we are on now will make Nigeria play a vital role in the affairs of the world in the search for peace and prosperity,” Onu said. On the request to establish a replica institute like NDI in Nigeria by the APC, he said: “I believe in future we will be able to do what the NDI is doing today. I am sure that the APC will get an institute that will do the same because we have seen that nations that embrace democracy hardly go to war. It is very important because Nigeria is the home of the largest of concentration of black people all over the world and the largest economy in Africa.” Earlier, the leader of the NDI delegation, Nana Dadzie, told their host that transition of power is as important as the electoral process itself, saying that “without a sound transition arrangement, a very sound election can be botched. In many countries, transition continue over and over again because not very sound foundation are laid.” While citing the example of what happened in his home country of Ghana, Nana Dadzie explained that all over Africa, the problem has been that of transition, saying the trust of solid power transition plan is to avoid lot of acrimony that follow most elections. “Our mandate here is to look at the operations on the ground, what exist in Nigeria and to advice the NDI headquarters. It is ultimately intended that a National Conference could be conveyed to which persons from civil society organisations, academia, political parties and various other persons will be invited to test ideas and ultimately it should be a Nigeria thing,” he said.
Yet Nigerians abroad are most disrespected and abandoned by our FG and embassies. Nigerians are the most patriotic citizens on earth. They still love Nigerua even when her government despise them
OdenigboAroli: Enugu looks great but the soil is a kill joy. Take the soil away and the roads will be sparkling. Cjrane, daalu.
nwanne, Daalu mehn. You are right,If the authorities can simply regularly sweep sand off the streets, Enugu will be completely obodo oyibo. Some streets without sand on the street truly resemble obodo oyibo. But you know, we Naija must leave things half done, making it to have that 3rd world feel all the time.
Either way, Igbo will outlive every wickedness and all those thugs that used the opportunity of being Nigerian president to create more hatred and division than unity Nigerians and make Nigeria one happy prosperous country.
It is choice to belong to whatever group of villains in history.
Sweetlemon: Yeah you heard me right. I am tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When news of appointments break out, the fist thing people will do is check the state of origin. Really? So track record is no longer important? Mr Fowler that was a Southerner was he not later shown to have fake certificates? And please don't give me that crap about competent people being in other tribes cos we all know for fact most people would prefer him to employ incompetent people from their regions rather than competent people from the North. And yes even some so called APC supporters too! Some Yorubas would also be feeling left out because they don't have "enough" appointments. Then when governance goes back to being business as usual with the same stories of missing hard currencies every week, we start crying for our sorry selves. Of the new list of appointments, there are 5 of them in number. fine 3 or 4 of them are Northerners but there are 3 Christians there plus one SSner. One name looks middlebeltan too. I checked this Col. Hameed's record and he is squeaky clean. But no he's not good enough for some people because he's a Northerner? For Christ's sake ask your distracted selves these questions:
1. There has been even distribution of electricity for a while now, did he give orders for more to go to the North? Is there more stable electricity in North than in the south? 2. The clean up in sectors so far, does it in the long run affect only Northerners? If the EFCC, Customs, pensions, NNPC etc are functioning properly does it not mean better for us as a whole? When last did you queue for fuel? 3. Buhari just ordered clean up of ogoni areas, let's not forget we just had an ND son there for the past five years!
I could go on and on about certain structures Buhari has put in place for Nigerians as a whole. Things that will benefit YOU and ME. Ordinary, everyday Nigerians. Not appointments. Biko was your father or uncle jostling to make the list? So why are you so concerned about any other thing about the list apart from track record If he appoints all from SW, if he makes the appointments equal among all regions will a single kobo get into your pocket Will it affect your personal lives in anyway whatsoever? Dammit mehn! Damn this shiit! I really don't know when and how manage Nigeria moved from having two Muslim Presidential candidates without anyone batting an eyelash to all this religious and ethnic melodramas.
Honestly I'm so tired now. Maybe I should just relocate to the USA or something. Nigerians really get what they deserve. I'm just happy that Buhari doesn't seem moved by unnecessary outcries and may God grant him the strength to be able to remain resilient and focused on his mission.
DUDE, STOP PRETENDING !!! DELUSION IS A PSYCHIATRIC PROBLEM.
My question is, WHY CAN'T YOU YORUBAS SUPPORT THE FIXING OF NIGERIA STRUCTURALLY BY REGIONS?"
You are terrified about the country breaking up, yet you support internal colonization, exclusion, intimidation and oppression of peoples from certain parts Nigeria! Something you very well know will lead to war and breakup of Nigeria. Why can't you therefore support the implementation of the CONFAB report and save your beloved Nigeria from disintegration?
By the way, many powerful countries are now for the break up of Nigeria into manageable units. So i know the stage of trying to mend Nigeria by cosmetic CONFAB agreements have almost passed.Let the north get ready to make their own weapons or to find oil money to buy weapons, because people around the world are frantically contributing billions of dollars to the Biafran cause as i speak.
One hopes Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will pay close attention to roads maintenance in Enugu, before they all completely breakdown and there is no money to totally reconstruct them from the scratch. Some of the roads have developed potholes which can be quickly patched up now for almost nothing in cost.Like the road in the picture below, many many pothole spots have been noticed on some of the roads. They should be sealed immediately before they get bigger. There should be an on-going "Operation zero potholes to save Enugu roads from collapse as it was during military rule
If they are neglected and allowed to deteriorate, in this era of low oil price and low allocations, it will be very difficult to find money to award a complete reconstruction again.
A sage said "A stitch in time saves nine" . Ugwuanyi must be up and doing in maintaining the state's infrastructure from a possible collapse now that we may be unable to replace them due to the current financial realities.
spyder880: Bros cjrane, I missed the opportunity of meeting you live in Enugu last week, thank God for your safe arrival in Obodo Oyibo, I am very happy you travelled from Enugu. Nwanne, Chukwu ga agozi gi.
oga M, Spyder, me sef miss you so much! I wanted so much to meet you when i made it back to Enugu, but my people no gree. They even volunteered to take me around town to get the pics i needed. What they didn't know was that i wanted to inquire about those plots you advertised. Chai, i couldn't tell them before dem go suddenly begin too many complicated stories needing huge sums of cash to settle. So i quietly flew out of town without meeting you. i will be back around christmas ka anyi kpaa many pressing issues. Thanks again for picking my call.
1. They are highly treacherous 2. They are natural born cowards 3. They are dirty 4. They lack common sense 5. They are promiscuous 6. They are lazy 7. They are loud drama queens. Want to be noticed at all cost 8. They are shallow thinkers and vanity seekers 9. They lack proper up bringing in stable homes 10. They are talented poisonous liars.
Just imagine for a moment what northerners will do to anyone that tries to own even 3% of their resources. But they have cornered 83% of other people's resources and even issuing threats on top of it all.
sultan457: ABUJA–The on going construction of a second Niger bridge may be placed on hold until the integrity of the bridge is sorted out, the Federal government said Wednesday. Reasons ranging from the actual cost of the bridge, non issuance of the Certificate of Compliance, non compensation of the host community and non adherence to due process in the award of contract were also responsible for the stoppage. The disclosure was made by the Director-General, DG of Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, ICRC, Aminu Diko after a private meeting with president Mohammadu buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja. The DG while briefing State House Correspondent stated that the bridge was one of the issue discussed in the meeting. Noting the importance of the road that linked the south east and south west, Diko however asked the people to be patient with the government. He said: “The second Niger bridge is one of the projects that we discussed with the President. We did say yes it is in the commission for regulatory oversight. We have been discussing the transaction with the Ministry of Works. But before it can be finalized. The commissioner has to give a certificate of compliance, but we haven’t even done that because we have seen a lot of issues that we are uncomfortable with. We are talking with the Ministry of Works for them to correct it. “The communities around that area are clamouring that their lands have been taken and that they have not been compensated adequately. As a matter of fact, we got a letter from Onitsha traditional council complaining that they have not been adequately represented in this transaction. “These kind of issues we are not saying that something has not been done properly but we need to be convinced that these few problems are sorted properly. “We will also talk about the actual cost of the bridge, eventually we have asked the ministry of works to review it and justify how much the project should cost. “For the second Niger bridge there will be a lot of studies that needs to be done on the integrity of the bridge itself which will take time it is not something we can see being completed in the next six months. “I will like us to be patient about it. We know that it is a critical road. We also know how Nigerians suffer during festive holidays and we hear people sleep on that old bridge. The time has come for us to bring succour Nigerians”.
The colonization, exclusion and domination of a people isn't a child's play. Those that dream of colonizing Igbos should get prepared. Time is truly approaching. The northern colonial masters better ask Britain for arms NOW or they will be in for a huge surprise.
Biafra must come whether they like it or not. Nigeria has long officially expired and the continued intimidation and exclusion of Igbos in their own country is completely unacceptable.

I took very few pics at the airport because Police and customs were everywhere looking for the slightest opportunity to extort money from anyone. However, the old terminal needs a lot of help. I hope the new terminal is completed soon. The airport is picking up pace with passengers. i saw so many Oyibos arriving from South Africa, USA , France and many people from other African countries. Many people had foreign passports. Many airport staff were from all tribes in Nigeria. hausa,Igbo,Yoruba,Efik,Igala,Ijaw etc. I made a video of the landing. Will upload more pics as i get them re-sized.
Arewa Consultative forum has been behaving like colonial occupation power. People will naturally resist colonial occupation and exploitation of their land.
So Arewa should stop pretending and heal Nigeria or it will soon blow up in their faces.
I must remind folks that i said the same thing some odd 6 years ago, warning northern politicians sponsoring Boko haram to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ will end up having to fight Boko haram to bring peace to the north. i guess i was right afterall.
In the same light, World history has showed that the most powerful colonial armies could not forever lord it over the indigenous peoples of the land. Imagine for a moment that a "United" nigerian army could not defeat Charles taylor nor Boko haram, it is when it's divided that it will defeat Biafra? Which will have 50-100 times the size of Charles taylor's army?
My pain is that resources which could have been used for development of Nigeria will be channeled into an easily preventable conflict because Arewa wants to pretend that it is a colonial power. Therefore, Arewa should get ready to defy history and triumph where other colonial forces failed. Such deluded men is precisely why Nigeria is such a mess.
