. Okigwe area of Imo state has the same topography and its great for cattle ranches. Infact, the northerners use that zone as their major transit area to coordinate business in the SE.
I wish private investors can also consider setting up modern cattle ranches in those areas
Biafra needs to be allowed to govern itself.
The injustices and oppression is now too much.
No matter what they do, more people have realized Nigeria is a fraudulent enterprise and must be fundamentally restructured or give freedom to all the constituent nations that made up Nigeria.
investnow2013: It can be done if every Landlords for instance in Awada Obosi contributes between #300 to 500 thousand for each plot & govt contributing at least 2 Trailer loads of Cement which will not be more than 2Million Naira per Street you will see the whole of the place turned over Night!.This will attract more businesses & the value of the properties in those areas will skyrocket immediately!.There will be better rent paid for houses!.The Beauty of the environment will be improved tremendously!.It will be easier to maintain & clean the streets!.There will be no more dust, dirt on the Houses & no more red Muds on our roads!.Somebody told me if is properly done it can last for 10 years for busy roads & more on less busy roads there by saving a lot of money for the people & govt!.If This is repeated in the whole of Onitsha, Thousands of Jobs will be instantly created!.I am planning to forward the proposeral to our Chairman Landlord Association very soon!.
I am ready to forward the info to any group of landlords. It is no longer acceptable to build such magnificent homes along such awful streets. Landlords in Igbo cities must imbibe and revolutionize the use of interlocking stones and gutters on both ends to make the roads on their street motorable. It is the right thing to do an it won't cost too much to do it with interlocking stones.
He is a president for the north, what's our concern? He should do his time and leave. I just fear he may cause a civil war before he leaves the way he is tactless in handling Nigeria's diversity. I guess in his mind, he is yet to believe there are people who won't take slavery
FKO81: I don't know what happen to this massive industry own by Sir Nicolas Ukachukwu former governorship aspirant of PDP and ANPP , it has been shot down for sometimes now, The industry it's at very good location and good motor-able roads, what could be the problem?
Lack of arranging ones priority well. He wants to be a governor at all costs and neglecting his business. Tomorrow he will vie for senator under ACN. Such Igbo people are why it sometimes appear like we lack focus. Hopefully he sells that industry to someone that will seriously utilize it for production and employment opportunities for the youths.
FKO81: Governor Obiano consolidating on Obi's achievement adding more structures in Anambra state teaching hospital
Frank, thanks for your pictures o. May God punish the evil virus that wants to ruin your lappy. You have really supported this thread with update picture. daalu, nwanne mmadu.
The Yorubas have always plotted against the interest of Nigeria. If it wasn't for cowardice and the free oil money flowing into their states, they would have been blowing up Nigeria by now like their masters
So we truly expected jaga jaga Nigeria to beat Ethiopia in infrastructure delivery?
Abeg, also add Amaechi Mono rail to compete with Ethiopia's.
Our oga in Aso Rock would have been shouting "Kworruption" now if fashola and Amaechi that squandered state funds pretending to be building monorail had been PDP men.
YurFatHer: Months after leaving office, some members of former President Goodluck Jonathan's cabinet have clinched different international appointments.
*.Mrs. Omobola Johnson, the immediate past Minister of Communication Technology has been appointed Honorary Chairperson of the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), a United States based global coalition.
*.Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala , former Finance Minister has been appointed chair of the Board of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation, GAVI, as well as, as senior advisor to Lazard, the 167-year-old global investment firm.
*.Ms Arunma Oteh, former Director General of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been appointed Treasurer and Vice President of the World Bank

Meanwhile, the dullard and his cohorts are running Nigeria back to Stone Age with stark illiterates that believe governance is all about enemies, vengeance and corruption
They should kill more businesses. While other countries are planning how to advance, Nigeria focuses on how to kill small businesses if they believe it is not from their tribe.
adgorwell: From a little observation, it appears some Igbos are yet to jettison their Civil War experiences when others have moved on. It is no longer a secret that Igbos made their choice clear during the presidential election and that was not General Muhammadu Buhari , but whether they stand with that choice through thick and thin is yet to be seen. One of the questions that came up during the campaigns was General Buhari’s role during the Nigerian Civil War.
The true question is; Does Buhari consider Igbos as Nigetians?
Remember Babangida, Obasanjo and Abacha also fought in the same civil war on Buhari's side. Yet they treated they were able to get themselves to serve as Nigerian leaders not targeting any group in particular.
Would Buhari have created states in the SE the way Babangida or Abacha did? Would he have appointed NOI, soludo,Oby Ezekwesili, frank Nweke etc the way Obasanjo did?
Buhari has deep seated hatred for a section of this land and that will continue to be a source of instability until he can show some maturity and move past election results. Afterall nobody tried to persecute Katsina or the north that consistently voted massively for him since 2003.
doublewisdom: That one concern Buhari. No one from the SS or SE will lick his a55 because of his yeye appointments. That is the exclusive birthright of the Yorubas.
Those that want appointment from the dulllard should say so. Most competent Ndigbo I know aren't interested in the dulllard's appointment. Nigeria is in a path of destruction and nothing should be done to turn away from that path.
VickJames: Since all of you have refused to see the importance of seaport, I'll have to take my time and educate you the importance of the seaport to igbos.
Do you have cordial relationship with your neighbours? No
Do they envy and hate you? Yes.
Even if you force our brothers to invest home, don't deceive yourselves our brothers are not mightily rich like y'all think. For them to maintain constant production and this dead power system in this country, they need to cut cost at one point. If you check the two factors, electricity and transport, any manufacturer will choose electricity over transport. The eastern part of the country will make the manufacturer still spend on transport and the fear of his goods either being confiscated or destroyed in accident. Brothers, let them suffer one, first, that's power!
Even if our brothers invest back home, what do you think our brothers are? MEGA-BILLIONAIRES? Please stop living in denial. We have few people that can employ 1,000 capacity and pay servicing companies. So, if you can't create a seaport, our brothers will still use our brothers to do very stressful work and we end up hating the billionaires, simple.
What the seaport will do this, its going to open up things that you haven't seen before! The hurricane growth that will engulf the east will be tremendous. It will not be quantifiable.
If it goes as planned:
1. Over 2million igbos will be employed immediately! At a spot.
2. Goods security for our brothers and investment.
3. Real Estate will grow drastically and our graduate will smile.
4. Different firms will spring up, everthing will start moving faster than any other thing.
5. The igbos will have power, they'll control their future if this happens.
There are many more things that will happen if the seaport coupled with specialised rail system is used. I doubt if you will love travel out of this country.
NB: our brothers are traders, importers and exporters. If you take their means of livelihood from them telling them they can live without the sea, you have just caused the highest disunity you will ever handle in this world.
Vickjames, I ordinarily respect your views. But your arguement here is like educating Saudi Arabia about the disadvantages of having a desert to a fertile rainforest Or telling Germany the importance of oil, knowing they don't have that resource.
To what effect is such arguement if nothing can be done to change it? You can suggest how to encourage friendly alliance to assure Alwa Ibom that we shall use their Ibaka port if they build it. All those lake ideas and Suez Canal are just academic exercise
Good debate. The funny thing is that Abagworo keeps warming about including SS to those that have not included them. It goes to show you Nigerians delude themselves with the thought that if the SS does not want Biafra, Igbos will give up. It exposes the dangerous mindset of Igbo enemies that think Igbo want SS for oil Just because that is what Hausa and Yoruba wants from SS.
The truth is that Biafra will be prosperous SS or not. How much oil does Japan or China have? On the other hand Venezuela has 4 times more oil than the entire Africa and its in economic depression.
herbman: It is time to take back our country. Please support our boys and girls in green who do what most of do not have the guts to do: fight boko haram by sharing Story Teller's "Bless a Soja"
What is the tribe of the soldier you want me to bless? We know northern elements in our armed forces refused to fight Boko haram until GEJ introduced southern troops this January and massive clearing of Boko haram strongholds was achieved almost overnight. Which soldier exactly should we bless?
When babies talk, you hear their distinct childishness.
What have you said that has not been tried before? In your mind you think promising to solve the problems in Niger Delta and give them more appointment will fool them to your divide and rule tactics? Like somehow we have not observed you cruel oppression of Igbos and our people? Go ahead, unless people feel they are better off as Nigerians than any other entity, Nigeria has no chance of surviving unless it embraces justice and equity. Mark my words.
Ask yourself if Niger Delta is better off in Nigeria than existing on its own.
