investnow2013:So what are these people with that green and white zoo flag feeling like? Trying to mock our people that have suffered so much under that slave flag? |
Buhari that ordered her slaughter and those that those that obeyed that order and killed her will never have peace. |
Chigold101:There was something Ngige did during the election that ruined his chances. He lied to people about what is obvious. i don't know why people lie about what is universally known. It diminishes them and makes every other thing they say to be considered a lie. Why do you people think it is okay to lie about what everybody knows? I was a Peter Obi apostle, but i know he built the Agulu lake hotel and Agulu bridge. The three Awka flyover were all Obiano's. Stop trying to say he started the firt or the second. they were all awarded on the same day by Obiano! |
Just heard that Buhari secretly confiscated all assets of capital oil and jailed Ifeanyi Uba. Please, someone should confirm this for me. If this is true, why has he left Wale Tinubu and oando, Dangote and all these people milking Nigeria to continue to run wild? |
I heard the zoo is buying more cages for animals. and iran will soon supply weapons. if they like, let them get Iraqi weapons, we must leave this zoo. |
spyder880:The Kano terminal has been completely roofed and plastered. I will get the picture from a friend that took the picture last week. Funny enough, Kano terminal was started almost one year after Enugu terminal started. |
Obiano is really trying. |
Buhari is indeed a killer. In time such killings must have to be responded to. may her soul rest in Peace. |
What if the cattle market in Okigwe goes up in flame ? |
investnow2013:I desperately wish these local companies will do the right thing and do a quality job, so that they can continue to get contracts to do medium cadre jobs. I cringe each time even tarring of streets are given to foreign companies because our so called indigenous companies are so unserious and untrustworthy to accomplish even the smallest job. These indigenous companies should try and perform so that we can offer them more jobs and therefore create jobs locally by engaging our youths. |
The zoo , the zoo ![]() |
Ama80:keep believing bro. There will be another "sambisa battle next month and three soldiers lost their lives". This war is so shrouded in secrecy, you are better off believing there was NO raid and this story is fake.Precisely why shecow always laughed at such reports because he knows nobody had any operation in sambisa |
asha80:Yes, these estates are the ONLY HOPE for many of our people. They don't even know the name of their village in Igboland! I know a family living in the north, their parents are dead now and they never took them to the east as kids when they were alive. These kids speak hausa fluently and even one is married to a fulani girl. but because their surname is Igbo, the northerners regard them as igbo.I used to think they didn't want to leave the north because they speak hausa, until i found out they are actually desperate to relocate to the SE, but don't even know the hassles involved in buying land, and they can't really speak Igbo, so they are in trouble. so these estates are their ONLY HOPE or they will be slaughtered someday in northern nigeria. |
They already told us they will use every tool of the FG to oppress and frustrate Igbo business in Nigeria. We have no other choice than fight for our right to exist as human beings. |
spyder880:We need lots and lots more well-planned housing estates in Enugu right now. Infact, the Emene and Ninth Mile zone should be opened up with roads for many more housing estates. All should be well planned like the Centenary city plan, slums should not be tolerated. We have many in diaspora returning in the next 5-10 years and want to make Enugu their home. Not to mention many of our people trapped in northern nigeria right now, that are desperate to have a home in Enugu and other parts of SE to escape the northern genocide being planned. New Owerri and Egbeada area, Awka, New Anam city around GRA-"33" Onitsha, Asaba are also important areas to open up. We need to make more estates available so that all these categories of folks that want to come back home can have a chance to own a home in the safety of their homeland. |

asha80:True, some require FG permission like extension of railway lines, but others like power plants and steel making factories requires less permission. However, having a clear picture of what is required and the obstacle does let people see exactly what the obstacles are chiefly, over centralization of every authority at the federal level and micro-managing Nigeria from Abuja. Which has made things too cumbersome and unworkable. That is why Nigeria has to be restructured. |
A-Phee-Cee thugs will come here and deny the obvious They deserve what they asked for. it is going to get worse with Bubu's body language ekwonomic policies. ![]()

Tex42:Regional Integration has always been talked about, but never implemented. See our vehicle for regional integration here: http://www.senec.org.ng/senec/index.php http://www.senec.org.ng/senec/index.php/news/36-news-events/57-imperative-of-south-east-nigeria-economic-commission-senec Our problem in nigeria isn't a lack of ideas, but we don't implement anything. The need for a close regional integration led to the SENDEF launching last year headed by Dr. paschal Dozie to source funds for specific key projects. i don't even think they have held any meetings since then! .http://allafrica.com/stories/201411150084.html We should pursue 3 Agenda; --1.They should pursue the SENDEF dream they launched last year to pursue precisely what you are saying and secure funding for key regional infrastructure projects. --2. Develop railway network in the zone.Extend a line from Enugu to Onitsha and another from Enugu - Abakaliki. The FG under Buhari APC won't do it, but we can get individuals to invest and charge toll fee. --3. Develop the Coal Industry by creating industries using our coal for power generation and steel production etc. Develop the oil and gas sector by creating industries to use the product. Again, the FG under Buhari won't do it, so we need our entrepreneurs to lead the initiative. The way Dangote is investing in refineries and power plants in the north. We can approach the world bank or AfDB for assistance with the infrastructure funding South Africa still use their coal powered steam engine train to transport people and goods across that great country. The cross country train ride is also one great tourist attraction in South Africa. Just imagine if we had a cargo & passenger train with this number of coaches carrying all the agricultural produce, yams, livestock, tomatoes, industrial raw materials etc from the Abakaliki to Onitsha and when its going back, it hauls all the petrol, imported goods etc back. Each of these coaches in the size of one 18 wheeler trailer truck. Imagine how many 18 wheelers were taken off the South African roads just by this single trip. Also a line from PH ONNE seaport to Onitsha via Enugu can haul all the goods from that seaport directly to Onitsha if we extended the present Enugu-PH railway line to reach Onitsha and Abakaliki. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duOWTl7el0g The second use of the SA rail system is tourism and basic transportation of people around the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmjJ4Lzb4oU
|
The report has since been burnt by Buhari. The day after it was handed over to Buhari by GEJ, northern leaders voiced their rejection of the report without even reading it. Buhari immediately threw the book into a dustbin. |
Spyder et al., If you can, how far has work in the Centenary city progressed?

thinkhome:I think we should critique things to make it better. Just that in this case, i don't think the paint color of the mall is bad.I typically side with Igboson when he insists on landscaping and flowers because i know those are truly a big deal. In fact, the only difference i see abroad from Nigeria is that they always plant trees, flowers and grass, while Nigeria typically never do that. I just thank God they didn't paint the mall with the ugly color of green white green. Our governors love those tasteless colors just to show fake patriotism.I always ask them, since the go to UK and USA, how many government buildings there are painted red white and blue? In spite of those people being more patriotic and committed to their country. |
Kelechi121:Well, they are opening 3 malls in Anambra which is a better idea than creating one super mall. My hope is that this will spur the development of more malls in Anambra and the SE + Anioma. It looks like only Abakaliki is our only major city or capital without a mall being developed now. |
Chiwude:i am so happy to learn that my bother. Let us keep mounting pressure so that our cities will reach global standard and begin to attract national and international tourists. Aba is the next place that must be made decent and habitable. nwannem, i surely will visit owerri. The last time i just passed through enroute. But i will find a reason to return to Owerri soon. i do want to see orlu road, Sam mbakwe road and the new Owerri .. and i will take lots of pics when i'm in town just as i did when i visited Enugu. |
Great job Anambra1st son!!! More grease to your elbows! |
christejames:Looks like marist already has a university in Enugu being developed. Hope they will make it a masterpiece institution. I know it takes money to do that, but somehow one hopes they are able to find money and create something wonderful |
chuna1985:What has sustained Japan, China, Indiana, Indonesia, Thailand or even Korea? Oil is the resource lazy men depend upon. |
finniblinks:Ab0ki is too lazy now to farm. They too drunk and focussed on cheating everyone out of the Oyel money to think straight. |
investnow2013:Wow! In Uruagu!!! Great. i wonder how close it is to the new okigwe express road or near saint mary's anglican church. This is why i said i respect nnewi people. Our people should imbibe more of this spirit |
