Good afternoon everyone.

My name is Ukamaka, I'm a single mom living in Owerri. I'm separated from my partner ( My daughters Dad) because of his gambling problem and many other things too numerous to mention.

However, my main reason for creating this thread is because of my little daughter. You see, the apartment we Live is full of enclosed walls which make it almost impossible for night breeze to come into our room at night no matter how we open our doors and windows. So recently we had no choice but to sleep outside damning the safety concern as the heat became unbearable and we have not had Nepa light for weeks neither can we afford fuel for our generator because of the current high prices. Yesterday broke the camel back as my daughter cried all thru the night and couldn't sleep because of the terrible heat and mosquitoes

However, my neighbor advised me to get this rechargeable fan pictured below ( that's what she uses) she bought it for 5k last year. However i went to the market and found out it's now roughly 10k which i can't afford presently. Nairalanders pls come to my aid so i can get this and manage with my daughter at least till rainy season. God bless.

I have been observing my married friends, colleagues & even neighbors around and I noticed deep down their marriages were all lacking discipline, they cheat on each other, lie, they pretend and most of them are so miserable.

Funny thing is two of my friends are not even up to 3yrs in marriage and they are so tired. Yesterday I met an old classmate of mine and he told me the girl I saw him with wasn't his wife, just for knacks, that he's been married for 1yr and 9months but he's tired of his marriage. It made me scared because here i am thinking of finding a wife and people in it are wanting out.

How is granting visa to Dubai a big achievement? I honestly don't get it? If a country that is not mine never wants me, I will never visit them. I would rather enjoy my vacations in exciting African countries. My plan in the next 5 years is to Holiday in most African countries and Enjoy the cultures.

Why are Nigerian obsessed over where UAE lifts the ban it does not make sense to me. I have never visited Dubai and see no reason why I should. If you pay my fight ticket and give me the visa, I still will not visit.

Robbers came to my neighbourhood on sunday morning robbing from one house to another between 3:20am-5:00am in the morning. They first robbed a nearby house with no security fence where they collected two hundred thousand naira, and also went away with pepperd stew. Next is my kinsman's home where they tied him up and also made away with his laptop, phones and a Tvs motorcycle.

Another neighbour was not spared as he was stabbed on different parts of his body and left to die.

I've made up my mind to relocate from the area immediately my rent is due before it's too late.
