Family › Re: Question On Divorce by cococandy(f): 3:12am On Jun 20, 2022
Okay and?

You will still be quickly divorced by a woman if you mess up. Scriptural times or not. Wonder why you’re getting a headache over things women in biblical times could or couldn’t do.

Women today can divorce you and you will be a divorced man. Okay bye
McDuncan:
I've read from idiots with pile riddled butt and a certain certified moronic, irresponsible redpiler who had no scriptural base contribution to offer but made side jeers from the comfort of their compromised genes.

When we assert that scripturally, women have no power of divorce, we have undertaken diligent research based on biblical accounts.

The only grounds a man has for divorce is if his wife is sexually unfaithful. But does scripture accord women same right? I think not.

Men in that era had always been polygamous. They marry as many as they could. The law gave them that much liberty. Should they sleep with someone's wife or a woman betrothed to another man, the law says they both should be stoned to death (duet 22: 22). But should a man, married or otherwise sleep with a free woman, the law compels him to marry her, subject to the approval of the woman's father(Exod 22: 16) So, naturally, there's no occasion a wife could seek divorce based on her husband's sexual unfaithfulness since the law has made provisions on how to handle that.

It is even lawful for a man to marry his late brother's wife should she bear no children before his demise. Men then simply enjoyed so much sexual liberty. Had women had the law on their side to initiate divorce back then, divorce surely would have been rampart as they naturally would seek to curtail their husbands' polygamous exploits.

In Matthew, like in Duet 24, JESUS was addressing men not women on the grounds for lawful divorce.

Saint Paul sums it up nicely in 1 corintians 7 Vs 10 and 11;
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the LORD, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

In conclusion, when we say there's no scripturally divorced man, we simply mean there's no man divorced by a woman in scripture, neither was there any provision given for a woman to seek divorce.

Numbers 5: 12-31 even covers mere suspicion as well actual adultery committed by a wife but hidden from her husband. But none, not a quote from the first to the last book of the bible accommodate any provision where a woman can seek divorce.

That being said, you want us to appreciate men more. I’m appreciating mine. Why is it peppering you?
RightToReject:
Only a pretentious and insincere woman in your stead will deny that her wish was not to have a man that has a good command of his lingua franca, a top-notch professional of international repute, and an all-round healthy and successful man as a husband. I am glad that such a man is among some other equally able men who have been present here on this fine Sunday morning catching fun while making his money on the go. But then, when desirable is not available, available becomes desirable.

There is nothing to be proud about a man that can't command his lingua franca; a man that can't afford to wittingly have fun while making serious money. Lol.

In summary, she, that her husband is not here on this "fine Sunday morning," who chooses to disparage the men who choose to be here should know that her husband can't afford to lace the shoes of one of the men, if not some of the men, here in his lifetime. Bye-bye!

Unfortunately, that one's husband is not here on this fine Sunday morning does not automatically make him better in any way than any of the men that are here, at least the ones I know personally. One's husband's inability to read and write his lingua franca very well, which has always been the sole reason for his unwitting absence in a place like this, should be blamed. So, whether the ones here are sincerely wailing for submission or not does not matter.
Ah. So grammar is the problem? Lmao

Lol, to think that you are one of the most submissive wives offline and your antagonism towards the word here isn't just oxymoronic but also laughable. Once more, just wish us Happy Father's Day and allow us to enjoy the celebration in peace while you keep submitting offline.
You’re not wrong. I can actually be called submissive.

And that’s to mostly everyone around me because I don’t like confrontation in any form. Neither do I like to expend energy unnecessarily. The only type of people that get the strong head version of me are the people that refuse to get sense. If you have sense, you won’t even know I’m around you. We’ll just exist peacefully side by side no wahala.

My husband can’t be on the internet on a fine Sunday morning wailing about submission when there are so many things he could be doing to make me happy and submissive.

I stay “submissive” to loving friends and family.

Their fixation is always on women. Create a thread on female abuse and they immediately remember men are abused too. The remaining 364 days, they would NEVER speak on male abuse. They would spend it monitoring toto and single women. They honestly do not care about themselves.
My favorite one is when they blame feminists for not championing men’s rights. Make it make sense

This thread is not for your Father’s Day apparently. Because if it was, y’all would have focused on that instead of dragging women into another useless submission debate.

On your Father’s Day you’re invested in women’s submission instead of focusing on yourselves

Coco, biko, what exactly is your problem naaaaaaa?
Hopefully one day your enjoyment won’t depend on anyone’s submission.

You’ve seen women enjoying Mother’s Day without demanding submission. Yet they manage to have a great day. If you don’t find who to oppress, your joy won’t be complete. Too bad for you.

You already had 6 or so mother's days this year alone yet you won't allow us enjoy a day in peace?

Dem swear for you ni? Hoop jumper!!!
This thread is where you’re enjoying your Father’s Day?

Go let the people you’re “fathering” celebrate you.

And why does your Father’s Day have to involve women’s submission? You can’t have a good Father’s Day unless women submit to you? Ode!

You should be able to have a good day regardless of what women chose to do. Otherwise it’s pathetic that your happiness/enjoying your day is dependent on who agrees to submit to you or not

If he’s handling only 75% of the bills, he should gladly handle 25% of the household care. That means on Sundays and Mondays, he should happily cook, clean, care for the kids, do laundry etc in those days.

Don’t be surprised his 75% contribution is the rent that he pays, not knowing how much things cost in the market. Meanwhile his wife is probably spending more to feed the family than they are paying in other expenses.
emmanuelbrown26:
When somebody is handling 75% of bills, automatically d person should be in charge of d affairs of that institution.
