InvertedHammer: Inappropriately touching a partner is very vague and can mean many things to different people. How do you prove inappropriate touch in court especially coming from a dejected, disgruntled or vindictive partner? Let's not be silly in trying to make laws.

Wrong. Rape doesn’t have to involve force. When there’s a power dynamic and one person can’t say no because of their position in the situation, it’s also rape. Not just threat of injury but any kind of threat that makes the other person afraid of refusing.

Now this law supposedly can be applied both ways but why are the guys blowing hotter than others about it?
Is it because the concept of consent always seems to have y’all confused?
Like how you believe rape only involves force?

I feel like you and your husband should have married partners who are interested in the same things that you are. Like he wants to wait, he should have found a woman willing to wait with him.

Watch people who swear they will never understand the meaning of consent have a fit. Basically you can’t do anything sexually to anyone that they do not agree to. Regardless of your relationship with them. It’s not complicated. Don’t complicate it

2) is it rampant? I don’t know. There’s sexual abuse in every society. His job definitely puts him in a position where patients are always nakedd and vulnerable around him. That hasn’t been shown to increase a pattern of sexual assault to my knowledge. If anything, nursing has been voted the most trusted professionals for many consecutive years now. But as a CNA, he didn’t really have a license to lose so he might have been more reckless.

3) is he guilty? Dunno. It’s hard to defend a Nigerian man when it comes to sexual assault. For one many of them don’t even understand the definition of what’s appropriate or not. I want to say he should know given the job he does but honestly wouldn’t bet my cheap change on it.

I have always been by myself during the Christmas and it’s usually fine but this one was just sad for me. I didn’t get to go home and hug my mother, eat her fried rice, chinchin and Fried goat meat. Nothing feels the same without her this period But I read of how people are around family, the drama and jokes, I wish I experienced it .
Oh I can’t go home because my leave is not until next year and I wish it didn’t have happen like this. For Christmas I had no appetite not until today that I was dragged out of my house cos everything sucks.

The fried plantain dish is mine and the boiled is my partner’s and that is breakfast while the cake was supposed to cheer me up as usual this evening but has just only evoked tears and shimmers in my heart.
