These after-one men are usually up to no good. Women should threat them like lepers or get infected like the others before them. Churchill is on his third wife now? Chikere will soon move onto his third wife. That’s it if he doesn’t have more we don’t know of.
What bothers me is the new ladies that make stupid excuses for them, demonizing their fellow women so that they’ll get picked. So foolish they don’t realize those men won’t extend the same grace to them if the tables were turned. of course they end up burned like those before them.
Stop marrying brolosho men especially when they aren’t officially over their current relationship/s. If you must, let him be unentangled before you entangle yourself in there. That’s the best approach. Stop inserting yourselves into ongoing relationships |

You know what the bigots do to those who oppose the Fulani murderers TruthinAction: What will they use to defend themselves? Sticks? The state assembly should pass a law to permit them to possess arms. Otherwise, they will be arrested for being in possession of illegal arms. But the killer herdsmen will never be arrested. |

No better explanation than this. But..... they will still refuse to get it. It’s ‘his money’ and the west is wicked for making him share it his wife eyinjuege: Birthing a child isn't the end . You might as well pay a surrogate, and an egg donor to have your child and thereafter raise such a child as you deem fit. If you can't raise such a child by yourself, you will at least pay whoever you entrust to do so. Many working married couples cannot afford ordinary day care for their children abroad and one partner has to stay back at home to do the job. You cannot downplay their contribution as housewives and mothers. Even if you employ a live in nanny abroad, their services will not be 24 hours a day unlike your housewife. As soon as you get back from work, your children are all yours to look after. They are also entitled to their off days by law, so their weekends are theirs. Many women give up their dreams, career and job opportunities to raise a family. Doing almost 24 hour nanny job, with a career on top means that your career will always suffer and your sacrifices will never be appreciated by many men. They will see it as doing nothing. If your partner insists on going for business trips like you do, taking job opportunities that pay more but inconvenient to the children and their husbands, perhaps you will appreciate them more. It's not laziness for not taking those opportunites but rather putting the family first in everything. Those are huge sacrifices not appreciated. Perhaps if your wife insisted you both equally take time off to look after your children, and you realise you lose lots of deals and opportunites in that process, you won't call her lazy. You don't realise the relief you have when you are assured your home front is covered, and you can face your work squarely. No need rushing things because the nanny is calling you that she's leaving o, as her closing time is up, no calls that you're late in coming to pick kids up from school. Infact, one of my kids has a dentist appointment next week and I still haven't sorted time off work to do that. We've already missed an appointment before and they dont take it easy if you keep wasting appointments. It may even be considered negligent if your child needs care and you don't take them for it. I don dey para for the father that he has to take time off to do it because I'm always the one taking time off for hospital appointments for the children. Imagine if I was earning as I worked, that means I would lose a whole day's earning for each of these different appointments. A sacrifice the mothers are just naturally expected to be the ones making. So if I can lose money to take our child to see the Dr, and my partner at the same time goes out to make money, would you term it unfair if we split the money he made while I took our child to see the Dr? |

I agree. I always communicate to a loved one in loving manner and I encourage everyone to do same. Like it just makes life easier However we are assuming he slapped her because she was rude. That may not be the case. Maybe she asked without being rude. You can’t really know unless we were there. From what I see on the guys comments here, the request is enough to warrant violence. So for those type of guys I don’t think any amount of loving communication will change their perspective UDUJ: Truth be told I see nothing in helping my wife wash dishes if there is no one else to help out in the restaurant and if I am out of a job.
I think it boils down to the manner and way in which she says it. If she says it in a loving way then why not- I'll do it since the success of the restaurant is for the family. It only becomes a problem if she says it in a condescending and mocking way, that will hurt the mans feelings.
So in summary it all boils down to communication and teamwork. In fact, communication is one of the most important aspects of a satisfying marriage and this brings about love and mutual respect between both parties.
See me talking about marriage when I am not yet married sef |

Grandmeister: Always virtue signalling and posturing like you can accommodate half the bullcrap you support here.
The man worked, earned, saved and opened the restaurant for the wife which means he was never lazy like many of you( including the Op) is trying to paint him. He also does school runs willingly BUT see the Op making it look like it's nothing, I thought women are always asking their men to participate in the active upbringing of their children? So now that we see a man doing school runs it's inconsequential? He gave the wife a sign that he wasn't comfortable being told to wash dishes in public, a wise woman would have let it be at that moment but NO, she had to run it in!
The man lost the moral argument because he slapped his wife in public, which in itself is a greater sin. I literally do all the things I support here. I can’t imagine thinking that I’m too good for dishes. So for you think it’s virtue signaling means you consider such a bad thing that you can’t possibly imagine someone truly doing it. That’s what I consider weird in all this. I never called him lazy. He’s just unreasonable. That he started the business won’t matter when the business fails from lack of support. Remember they can’t afford to pay their staff anymore. Have you ever been to a public eatery? Does the person who serve the clients have time to do dishes? Don’t they usually need help? Who do you think the help should come from if they can’t afford to pay someone to help? When he gets another job and wife’s income can be soared to pay for help, then they for help. But for now that they have limited resources and little help, it should be all hands on deck. I don’t know how you can’t see that. Weird and illogical |
Family › Re: My Husband Slapped Me For Asking Him To Wash Plates by cococandy(f): 4:11pm On May 21, 2021 |
I would wash dishes for my younger ones Many of you are quite unreasonable and illogical. I will never think like y’all from the posts I’ve seen here. No logic. Just useless pride. Oh and it’s better to be without a man than be with one who stresses your life. You said that like all women who aren’t with a man are lacking something. Some are quite lucky to be without an egotistical stress factor making their lives more difficult. It’s good to have a man if he makes your life better like a partner should. Anything less is not it Hotshisha: Honestly when you think like a man you end up without one
Will she treat her business partner in such manners even when the investor earns no dime from the business he coughed out his income for
You women this days get on people's nerves....

Hotshisha: Will you wash plates for your teenage kids?! Even after working your but off getting them a cosy life
I work hard to give my wife a business and she turns around to ask me to wash dishes for her customers
The more I think of this the angrier I get Yes. It’s not a tit for tat system. It’s a support system. So if the situation warrants me doing dishes for my kids, I will. The situation here warranted the man helping his wife and he didn’t. That he started the business is irrelevant. Does it mean that if he wasn’t the one who started, it’s okay to do the dishes then? Who started the business doesn’t matter. What matters is that they are working together to get income for their family. If he preferred to do the grocery shopping and cook the meals for the customers, I’m sure that would have been helpful too. Or he could offer to pay the dish washer to do the dishes since the wife was tied up attending to the customers. Anything from him would have been helpful since they can’t afford to pay people to help in the business. What’s his plan? To let the business fail? I can’t understand his reasoning |
Family › Re: My Husband Slapped Me For Asking Him To Wash Plates by cococandy(f): 3:53pm On May 21, 2021 |
Hotshisha: Yeah yeah, go wash dishes for free at the nearest McDonald's
Why you ladies dish out what you can't take hiding under feminism BS is strange But guess what? It’s not for free. It supports the family income. If I had no source of income and my partner is running a food business to support us and can’t pay workers to wash dishes due to our income is now reduced, I would be stupid to say I can’t wash dishes to help the business survive. Like I said y’all are weird AF. I don’t know where your reasoning comes from. There’s no role or job too demeaning for anyone on this earth. Stupid pride that’s defies logic is what makes some of you try to complicate uncomplicated situations. Dishing what I can’t take? I can wash dishes, wipe poop, clean up vomit, do anything to support my family. But y’all are too good for that. Such a stupid point of view to support |

What’s degrading about washing dishes? Hotshisha: I payed 100k to rent a shop
I payed an extra 100 k to buy plastic chairs, table and accessories for interior
I bought gas stove, microwave, cutlery, and food stuff almost 100k
Gave the wife another 100k working capital
All in all I spent 500k on a business venture or $1200 USD on a business venture I earned zero Kobo from( 1.2k is minimum wage of hard labour in USA) and annual income in Nigeria
Yet I am told to wash plates for the customers and I should not get angry and slap the person degrading me because I want to be a real man
I won't slap her , I'll take over my business with receipt and proof of payments I made starting up the business, I'll start washing the damn plates and keeping my profits for my damn self, for 50k I'll get an excellent cook in Lagos and run a proper business, let her go and ask her father and elders in their village to wash plate after buying her plates and business so she can survive

Automatically the husband stops being the head of the house and wifey becomes the head.
Ladies please listen to this. No matter the condition of your husband, I mean husband ooo not fiancee or boyfriend. Accord to him the respect and regards due to the head so that you can be blessed and remain blessed.
Abi you didn't say for better/for worse Biafranboys: Women of this generation are crazy, for me I do dishes myself but it is an insult to tell your husband to wash plate, same man that opened the business for you Obainomilano: Many people supporting the woman here are crazy and unreasonable we are Africans we are not Europeans..we do not have the luxury live or good governance of the white men and yet the Nigerian women always want to compare the man with their European counterpart. It is highly insulting and highly humiliating to open your mouth to ask your husband to wash plate in ur restaurant to serve customers.. especially when that husband do not have a job ..when his pride and personality is at the lowest ..that is the time you are supposed to treat him more like a king ..support him in any way u can and give him maximum respect...if customers are too much they can come and wash the plates by themselves I have washed plate in so many restaurants so I can eat and I believe many people here have done so too ....there is no justification for such a public humiliation of a man that is supposed to be your pride ....
