MonsieurX posts is wrong... screenshot it at your peril.. that post is full of ignorance.. Africans have always celebrated twins and even have indigenous names for twins long before the e:uropeans set foot on Africa..

A part of Nigeria ( Calabar and Akwa Ibom ) couldn't successfully separate twins at birth and most of them died but history writes it that they twins were been killed when the truth is that most twins born in Calabar and Akwa-ibom were dying at child birth.

So why are so many Yorubas slaving away voluntarily in Britain instead of making Lagos and other Yoruba cities as good as London and other British cities?
Yorubas slaving voluntarily, unlike the ones we raided, captured and sold to Arabs and whites for pittance?
Yorubas are working in Britain because Ironsi, Azikwe and Ojukwu were so jealous and envious of Yoruba people like Odutola they decided to abolish regionalism and centralize the wealth of all the regions which led to the destruction of wealth distribution among southern Nigerians which is also one of the reasons your fellow I:gbos are dealing drugs and doing armed robbery and cultism outside Nigeria..

If the military, today, decides to wipe out the current crop of corrupt politicians, you will still blame the Igbo man and would say that they were saint. In your myopic mind, you think that regionalism would have been better than what it is obtained now. But because you lack history and even how the psychic of the black man works, you think that Nigeria would have been an eldorado, an heaven on earth. But believe me, it would have been worse. Far worse than it is obtained. Because the black man is a curse upon himself. He will always find a reason to be lawless and unproductive. It is not the Igbo man that has kept every black African nation on earth to be unproductive.
Regionalism was already showing symptoms of failure when regional politicians were beginning to be greedy and thuggish. The Akintoyes and the Awolowos of that time were starting brute and senseless politics(remember the wild wild west). Power was already getting into the heads of regional politicians, and it was only a matter of time before it would have exploded. In fact, dissolving regionalism helped to destroy those who would have made the power and resources of their regions their private properties.
Stop being an slowpoke. If you love regionalism so much, why don't you fight for it? Azikiwe has come and gone, and now you have that chance to make history by fighting to bring back regionalism.
obyno82:
Dude he centralized the civil service only let us stop twisting history. Many of us do not know why our resources are shared from the center. The reason is simple during the war the massive oil reserves in the Niger Delta which a bulk of it was in the Eastern Region was a worry to Gowon and so in a bid to reduce the influence of Ojukwu in collecting Oil royalties from Shell. Gowon instructed Oil companies to relocate their HQs from the Niger Delta to Lagos and ensure that all Oil Royalties are paid to the FG. He didn't change the structure after the civil war, and the arrangement still continued and subsequent administrations continued with this arrangement till now. The blame rests on Gowon he was young and naive, he didn't understand the administration of the Nigerian state.
bibe:
For those saying he abolished regional government, that's false. You have to put it into proper context. There was a breakdown in government/law and order following Awolowos incaseration for treason which led to the first coup. The first coup left a vacuum in leadership in the West, mid-west and North and to stabilize polity he centered the government but still appointed leadership from the West North, Midwest and East as regional administrators.
Basically, the regions still existed and had resource control. He didn't abrogate resource to the center.

His handling of the coup plotters leaves a lot to be desired but you cannot in all honesty criticize his handling of the remaining issues. If Bringing government to the center wasn't the right thing to do at the time, why didn't the counter coup plotters decentralize it? But they went even further by abolishing the regional government which he still left and went further to abrogate resources to the center thus truncating resource control. For that, blame Gowon and his enablers!

Normally! The bastards are never getting away all the propaganda and lies they keep telling themselves over the years about the GENOCIDE. Them go continue they gaslight themselves. The IGBOS know their history and it's out there for anyone with a common sense and eyes to see.

Yorubas should keep deceiving themselves, same with Northerners. grin grin "Igbos are the cause of the civil war, they should suffer some more" "Chief Awolowo should have sacrificed more of those useless kwashiokor Biafran babies, by extending the blockade" "3.5 million biafrans was too little, the GENOCIDE should have been finished once and for all". "Useless IGBOS crying after loosing a war what did they expect hugs and kisses" . All these hate speeches and the most insensitivity is a tip of the gross wickedness and hatred these folks possess in their souls.

Till tomorrow not one single yoruba soul anywhere in the world has the decency or integrity to admit, not stand up for IGBO ni nioo ( that's practically impossible for fear of being called Omo Ale) , just admit a simple truth that the latter methods adopted in the war by the most heartless and evil "Chief Awolowo" who is basically worshipped and venerated by the yoruba race obviously for spearheading the most infamous blockade that starved millions of biafrans to death was a terrible act or was not good. Not one yoruba man can admit that this man did something bad in the eyes of God and men. I have searched the corners of this earth, if you have seen one show me.

We sabi say no be today IGBOPHOBIA start. For all their efforts to bury the SUN, it always keeps rising in their effing faces. We know our history and so will my kids and their kids after them. If you like eat the corpse of your suicidal Patron, venerate him to the high heavens, song hymns and praises to him. Evil and hate filled hypocrites! He will forever be known for what he is, Which is a suicidal, baby killing, envious, IGBO hating coward, who could not meet soldiers in the field even though they outgunned and outmanned them in every way possible, none is more evil than that guy. "All is fair in war" definitely the extermination of the third largest tribe in Nigeria. If it were not for maybe the cries of the foreign media and red cross these people would have poisoned the waters of biafra, even used chemical weapons if they knew how to. People who were forced to self preservation after being deliberately and regimentallly massacred and murdered in a series of POGROMS sponsored by the Nigerian state.

One thing that even us IGBOS don't know is that beyond our extreme bravery and ingenuity we have God to thank, I am sure I wouldn't be here typing if my grandmother had died during the war she was pregnant when it began and basically lost most of my uncles during the war, oldest was around 14 she was carrying my dad and later birthed him in the midst of debris, dead bodies and shrapnels. how they survived till date is still a mystery.

You people should keep masturbating on the Biafran war and wishing that the igbo was wiped off. I wish there truly was God some of you deserve the hottest part of hell. Because of self guilt and fear, the bastards had sworn that IGBO will never be president grin grin, they know the evil they have done, the fear of what we may do in retaliation freaks the whole nation, even when IGBOS have moved on and obviously are not the vindictive type, a fact I absolutely hate.

Long live IGBO the greatest tribe of Africa. May the sun continue to rise and prove that who God has blessed no man can curse!

I asked you to read and you are lazily asking me a stupid question. Ok I will answer. After independence, we were practicing a parliamentary system of government, very similar to the Westminster system practiced by the UK where power is decentralised and the regions were powerful. Ironsi came with his oversabi and "unified" Nigeria, making it a republic, insisting that appointments and promotion will strictly be on the basis of merit. Ironsi did not do that because he gave a fuçk about merit, he just knew igbos who had a majority in the civil service will dominate everyone. The northerners resisted the move knowing well how they will suffer under Igbo dominance but for where! grin Ironsi said we must dominate you. That, in summary is the story of how decree 34 came to be. When later on (not quite long after then), it was the turn of the igbos to shout "araba", for where! How? His left foot is already up and the ball is few CM away from him. How will he do that? Is he a magician?
A ball is spherical... if you kick a ball at its radius it will go straight.

Osimhen was running towards the post so he could see when Alisson's was rushing out of his post so he could have picked the left side of Alisson or right side of Alisson or pass to another player...

If Osimhen kicks the ball with his right foot just 1 - 4 centimeters to the left of the ball's radius the ball will go towards Alisson's left side...

if Osimhen kicks the ball with his right foot 13 - 20 centimeters to the left of the ball's radius and aims towards Alisson's right side the ball will spin and create a curling effect which will curve the ball past Alisson.

Allison was close, before he will hit the ball with his left Allison will have gain more ground on him. He would block it either with his foot or body. He made the best decision. I don't understand the reason for this argument. His teamate was open why take that risk with your weaker foot. You just missed a penalty and then decide to shoot with a weaker foot when there are other options. No now!
he doesn't have to use his left foot at all.. that's the point..

he can shoot it with his right foot towards alisson's left side or shoot the outside of the ball with his right foot to curve past Alisson's right side or also shoot it in between Alisson's legs..

he took the best decision.. he should convert more chances ...

Thank you for this picture. You can see that the keeper was closing Oshimen down and the only way he could score was to bend it with his weaker foot. The position of his body makes that near impossible. Oshimen run was diagonal cos of where he collected the ball from Gomez, and there were acres of space to pass for his teammates facing an open net. Why then should he risk shooting with his left when he can pass to a colleague facing an open goal?

Zambo had control of the ball cos it was a one-two pass. He has acres of space and good body positioning to shoot with his right foot and no teammates were in sight. Oshimen made the right decision so was Zambo.
Curtisaxel10:
Exactly. From the goalkeeper's position, Osimhen would have had to take an awkward shot with his weaker left foot which would either be picked comfortably by the GK or gone off target.

Why take that gamble when a teammate is in a much better position?
JayromWrites:
From the still picture. It's easier to score from Zambo position than from Osimhen for a Right footer.

Looking at the position of Osi, if he goes for goal, it will take something special to beat Alisson.
Osimhen's position is easier ...

since his right footed it would have been easier to play it towards Alisson's left side ( the blue line in the image below )...
or use his right foot to spin the ball to curl round Alisson's right side ( the grey line below )...
or through the legs of Alisson's...

Anyways, Napoli won....

There is nothing wrong with passing to an unmarked teammate but sometimes u have to take on the responsibility, especially as a striker.

Curtisaxel10:
Lessons from the Napoli game:

1. Ball-playing CM/DM is the goal. I loved the way Anguissa and Lobotka (I think) controlled the midfield, taking the pressure away from the defenders even with Liverpool forwards pressing them hard.

Anguissa's twists and turns, control and movement were pure class. Ndidi cannot do that. His best move is to receive ball and pass to the nearest man ASAP grin.

Therefore, I think Ndidi should remain a CB for now. There, he can utilize his tackling skills without having to "ball-play".

(2) Osimhen is a good unselfish striker. His pass to Kvara reminded me of his pass to Chukwueze against Sierra Leone with the open net at his mercy. Both were excellent decisions, both were squandered.

Very nice striker, Osimhen. But he should stay away from penalties for now. He simply doesn't know how to take them.

(3) Osimhen functions better in a counter-attacking setup. Sit back and hit on the break. Peseiro, over to you.
His penalty was on target. Alison went the right way so it was Alison's goalkeeping skills that prevented the goal.

Osimhen played a good penalty but shouldn't have picked the same way spot as his teammate.

Osimhen functions in a high chances creating team not a counter attacking team. He starts his runs too early and usually ends up been offside so Osimhen's offside can affect counter attacking teams.

Ndidi causes too many fouls to play CB.

If it work with sport, why hasn't Africa won the World cup?

Why hasn't England (Men) won any major title since 1966?

Even AJ lost to Uz back to back

You cannot replace talent with patriotism and expect excellent results
most teams in Africa don't have good offensive plays and are competing with teams that have sports academies for children under 8 years old so most of their players have been in sports or football academies since they were children which ends up making them better players while African countries have teenagers in academies and still have a lot to learn when they get outside Africa...

England has to also compete with other countries who have academies for young children and most times better coaches..

AJ losing to UZ can be attributed to the current political situation with Ukraine.. A lot of sports are fixed... AJ will also lose to Fury in december...

you can mix talent with patriotism and get excellent results..

Sports is an industry and every industry provides jobs..

Sports provides job opportunities both high paying and low paying... so a country needs to make sure its indigenes are the major beneficiaries of all industries in this case sports industry.

Its not Nigeria where there's oil in Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom e.t.c. but its foreigners and non-indigenes that are the ones getting jobs in their oil industry.. that's an abomination..

Nigeria is just a poor African nation with overpopulation, when I mean overpopulation, we have too many people below average IQ and literacy.

Family planning first will go a long way in solving Nigeria problems.
When a poor family keep birthing many poverty stricken children, they go to poor schools and drop out, increasing poverty rate and over dependency...

The wealth of a nation depends on the average economic value of each individual in that country.
You're right in some cases like overpopulation... I used to think like you but I changed when I realized the major problem was infrastructure and migration into Nigeria not overpopulation..

Poor schools are as a result of lack of regulations because most poor people send their children to public schools and according to you "poor people send their children to poor schools" that means that public schools are poorly maintained, regulated and upgraded..
poor schools are a result of the government not investing in education..

the wealth of a nation depends on the urban infrastructure of the states in that country... Its the infrastructure that's one of the major problem..

the main major problem that also leads to overpopulation is migration... the borders in northern Nigeria are open so all sorts of criminals are free to enter Nigeria especially through the northern borders and when you have a presi:dent that's not Nigerian that presi:dent will ensure Nigeria becomes populated with non-Nigerians..

That's him playing club football.. let him play for the S.E he will want to turn to the "hero" of the team...

Real sociedad is not a rich team like chelsea that will buy players with a lot of money and bench them. He will enter their first team immediately. He will score goals and create chances in real sociedad
Let him score his goals in Almeria for this season...

it doesn’t make sense judging umar with simy’s misfortune in the colors of crotone

Wetin mk u no also reason say sadiq fot hit over 20 goals for sociedad in laliga this season to attract big money to the epl or bigger laliga teams?
he has already scored 2 for Almeria..

He can score over 20 goals for Almeria this season and still attract big money move to any of the top 5 leagues in Europe..

wetin mk some of una too dey fear for our players moving to bigger clubs?

Nawaooo
he has been playing division 2 football for the last 2 years.. so he needs a season of starting and playing games at top-tier level...

Look at Simy Nwankwo, once he left Crotone his goals dried up and unfortunately Crotone was relegated and are now in Serie C...

the way Almeria is playing especially with Sadiq scoring they will likely stay up... so in his footballing interest he should stay at Almeria for at least a full season...

In his financial interests then he can leave...

Samueltemi337:
How?
He is getting game time at Almeria and in my opinion that's what matters...
