Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: I’m Shocked, Scared Of Fg's Lack Of Plan For Nigerians, Laments by CodeTemplar: 5:21pm On Aug 23, 2023
Even worse is the lack of repentence from fiscal rascality the govt is known for allover.
No visible palliative yet 3 months after removal of widely debated subsidy. It shows they all just after power and bandying empty manifestos around.

Thank you for saying what needs to be said. The clown is fond of uttering meaningless gibberish with an air of authority, even though he wouldn't pass an SSCE exam in the subject with the textbook right next to him. Any attempts at correction whiz right over his head, while all the "likes" he gets from his fellow tribalists and their sock-puppets feeds his ego, encouraging him in the belief that he's anything more than yet another beer-parlor "expert" emphatically spouting half-baked opinions. He even admits that he doesn't have an economics degree, yet feels himself qualified to pass judgements on the qualifications of those who do.

The absurdity of it all is heightened by the fact that the tribalistic buffoon thinks the distinction between "micro" and "macro" economics means that there must also be "micro economists" who know nothing about the macro picture, even though it's impossible to get even a Bachelor's degree in economics without at least some acquaintance with both ...
Your team is scoring zero over ten in real life. The economy is stagnant against growing needs. Deliver now lie you used to say in your old signature. I insist you deliver.

Business › Re: UK Cuts Tariffs On Products From Nigeria, Others by CodeTemplar: 12:39pm On Aug 23, 2023
grandstar:
Trade is far better than aid or emigration to these rich countries.

However, the question is whether Nigeria would grab this opportunity with both hands.

One way it can do so is to set up EPZ and encourage FDI into them. The government should go all out to bring them in. Many manufacturers are leaving China for instance. This is an opportunity to lure them into the country to produce for exports. I am sure many European and American firms could also be lured if the right infrastructure is provided.

A thriving EPZ in each state with coastline would be a boon for the economy.

The Special Economic Zones (SEZ) were the foundation of China's export boom and its industrialization.
Your deeply dishonest. Chinese are emigrating and advancing. Indians are doing it too.

Your penchant for rationalizing issues to favour your govt of choice makes you come across as deeply delusional dude.

Mostly finished goods. Import milk and package it then call yourself a manufacturer.

The people who produced the milk end up employing more hands than those bagging it and distributing sachets.

This is the beauty of not being in partisan politics - now, he can proudly speak his mind.

If he had become a minister in this government, he would have kept quiet and watched things go awry.

The most degrading job in this world is serving and defending an incompetent boss.
Are they not brothers within when they captured power by betrayal and force? El rufai is irredeemably partisan.

These low life kidnappers and robbers are just that - opportunistic criminals motivated by money. It serves no meaningful purpose to tag them IPOB/ESN.

Education › Re: Stop Sending Your Children For Holiday Lessons by CodeTemplar: 1:36pm On Aug 21, 2023
Oduok:
Sending kids to holiday lessons makes no sense.

Most of you will make your kids go to school till they become useless. You took them to school at age 3 and abandon them there. During long vacation you still send them to school. To do what?

Can't you spend time to bond with your kids? What exactly are they going to achieve in school during vacation? Vacation lesson only favour school owners, not you. Allow kids rest for God's sake.

If you should engage kids during long vacation then teach them skills. Enrol your kids in centres that they can learn practical computer usage, coding, programming, painting and decoration, catering, musical instruments. Let them learn martial art, how to shot guns, how to wrestle. Teach them something beyond pure academics.

If a school should organize long vacation class then it should gear towards extra curricula activities - debate, modelling, music concert, science fair, mini project. How would you call kids back to school during holiday to learn Math, English, Chemistry, Social studies, accounting, by same teachers that taught them during school period. What is the difference? If these teachers knew what to teach why didn't they do it during normal school session.

Education is beyond memorizing facts. Give your kids opportunity to develop and be better prepare for life.
lol..take it easy.
