Politics › Re: Why Tinubu Presidency Is A Must !!! by CodeTemplar: 9:29pm On Aug 11, 2020
OkutaNla:
Anyone with the qualities you described will not become president because such a person will be a talkative. Clever and wise politicians don't talk anyhow about sensitive issues because their words would be used against them at some point for political reasons. Tinubu is a student of history. Awolowo for all his good qualities failed to become president because he was too idealistic. He wasn't pragmatic enough to reach out to those that would have enabled him realize his goal of becoming president. Alas, yoruba votes weren't enough to get him elected. Anyone that wants to rule Nigeria as presently constituted must be seen to be a bridge-builder and circumspect about his utterances. Tinubu is smart enough to know that.
Genuine leaders know when to put aside politics and address sensitive issues. Unfortunately, Tinubu isn't one but a good politician who knows how to go about his personal interest.

I really hope we get it right. The country is decaying by the day
Tinubu isn't fit for LGA. He may have paid his dues at party level and stand a chance but he isn't fit.

Tinubu has across the board appeal. I can count enough igbos, Hausas, and other ethnicities he has helped along the way, not to mention Yorubas. Even igbos in Lagos are already rooting for him. That is what makes him not only qualified but also electible. Electibility is about how acceptable a person is to not just the masses but the political Elite. Peter Obi cannot even get PDP ticket to run for presidency because he lacks the general acceptability and electibility. Plus he is tribalistic and clannish.
Tinubu as president is a sure disaster not because he may not know what to do, but because of strong personal interest that will override any little plan he may have. What you have up there is a analysis of what obtains in politics but if Tinubu is weighed on solid public interest basis I can't give him a 5/100 ( 5% ).
He doesn't speak regarding sensitive issues like insecurity, corruption, or injustices. He is a reactionary fellow, and when he does, he carefully sits on the fence to avoid any negative backlash. That's not good enough for a local govt talk less of presidency.

Yea, the system is not bad is they apply it very well. But see the way they are using it, numerous pay cut complaints and now ghost workers surfacing.
Anything entrusted to humans risks abuse. Let them keep improving it.

Okay, it explains why dead and retired lecturers were paid on the system. Fraud and more fraud. How can you be paying ASUU members who never enrolled themselves on a system that needs biometric capturing to be enrolled? The same way they achieved that is the same way they are enrolling ghost workers. Audit that platform and you will discover one of the biggest frauds in Nigeria. No wonder people are just crying all over about IPPIS
IPPIS is good but needs refinement. I support a central system that manages payroll of MDAs. With the way things are they could decide to integrate a biometric login system that will further expose absentees who are getting paid.
Politics › Re: Civil Servants, Ex-banker Arraigned For IPPIS, ‘ghost’ Workers Fraud by CodeTemplar: 1:50pm On Aug 11, 2020
Seeing that the humans entrusted with managing and administering IPPIS are taking advantage of it in a negative way, I suggest they enforce a biometric system that forces every civil servant to signify their presence in their workplace biometrically 3 times a day. Let them login via fingerprint or retina scan 3 times daily.

Buhari is more concerned about suppressing the voice of the masses. At least people could protest freely during GEJ era. They will soon fire shots at the protesters, just watch.

Guy if you dont know you humble yourself and learn, stop sounding incoherent. I am saying that the gas Deposit in Imo state is the highest in the country. Dont forget there is difference between oil and gas. Russia has gas but Qatar has the oil. Imo has highest gas deposits while Delta Akwaibom and Rivers have highest oil deposits.
Yes Osinabjo went to Ohaji Egbema to see how to harness it, which they are now doing by "criminally" linking our gas to Lagos and then Kaduna, you get??
And yes Anambra and Abia have gas deposits too.
Imagination Gas deposit I guess.

Show me the truth please i am not here for fools like you. Show me the truth i insist or forever remain silent. You are only pained that Imo and other SE states have great Natural gas deposits.
You should have asked your leader Osinbajo what he came to Ohaji Egbema to see . grin grin. grin tongue
Oh ... it now the whole SE as a region. I can see your internet mind is mine unstable. So Osinbajo went to see gas with his nakéd eyes?
No vex o.
