PEOPLE WILL SPEND SO MUCH ON THEIR WARDS FOR SO MANY YEARS AND ON A FLIMSY EXCUSE THE MANAGEMENT OF THESE GLORIFIED SECONDARY SCHOOLS WILL EXPEL OR SUSPEND THEM.ITS TIME FOR THE NUC TO BEGIN TO REGULATE AND OVER SEE SOME OF THE OBNOXIOUS RULES THESE SCHOOLS OPERATES ON.
The rules where stated clearly to the students before admission and they didn't consider it flimsy excuses for expulsion then so what are you talking about?

So this gloried secondary school too can expel students

You better come and study in Cyprus

Enforcing rules don't make a university a glorified secondary school. lack of it is what makes it one.

The ones in Public schools especiially. They can do all manner of stuff and never get expelled. That's how most senator got to where they are today.

You mean Bowen secondary school grin

I'm sure if they mentioned what they actually did, it will be something not worth to be expelled for.
That's how all the advanced secondary schools like UI, UniLag, Unilorin and OAU lost relevance. When a student errs he or she gets pardoned because to forgive is human and what we have today is that those schools lack morals and it has affected academics greatly.

It is babies who get forgiven no matter what they spoil or do. real adults face the music of their actions like those guys expelled.

Read dis about a 14yts old boy who never been to university but a genius programmer
This is a very exaggerated one-off and the knowledge a CS degree equips one with is still needed. It is like saying Medical training is waste of time because the knowledge can be acquired out the four walls of a medical school.
Can this boy relate to design patterns, processor architecture, parallel programming etc?
Those are key areas that every self taught programmer may completely miss in their first 10 years of learning. CS goes beyond mastering for loop in few languages.

If only you just can directly answer Seun's without continually avoiding to give a Yes or No that Jesus demanded monetary tithes from His followers when He was still alive on earth

So here is another opportunity for you to redeem yourself: Do you believe that Jesus demanded monetary tithes from His followers
I already answered that question. Tithe was one of Gods many idea amongst other ideas and Jesus only amended the ones that needed amendment or corrected them appropriately.

In Mathew 23:23 Jesus only made tithe a less weightier matter of all four matters on that list but he never stopped it as your are trying to subtly insinuate here.
In your JSS or primary school I am sure you were introduced to something called "scale of preference". It simple means in a list of things needed some thing are more important than others and so get higher priority. That makes the answer to Seuns question an "implicit YES" because the will of the father is the pleasure of the son - Jesus. Stop feigning illiteracy in your bid to win argument sir.

You are completely and utterly wrong that tithing is alive and this is because tithing ceased to be alive, after the temple got destroyed and razed to the ground in 70 AD by the Romans.

Do you see how you've again prevaricated?
1/ When Seun asked that question, do you think, he didnt know the difference between demand and encourage?
2/ Did Jesus in that verse Matthew 23:23 address His observation about tithing ectetera to His followers when he was still alive or it was to the Pharisees?
3/ Please just simply, ordinarily and outrightly answer Seun's question
Now again, do you believe that Jesus
demanded monetary tithes from his followers when He was still alive?
So if according to you Jesus was addressing the Pharisees alone and not his followers it means only the Pharisee are suppose to be paying tithes right?

If he didn't demand it then what was Judas keeping in his treasury ? or are you suggesting they were all voluntary gifts to Jesus?

Please stop misyarning.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why The Deception & Who Is Right by CodeTemplar: 1:00am On Jan 04, 2019
Originakalokalo:
Jesus is right.

Christianity is the only religion (permit me to use the word *religion* for lack of words) that solves the problem of mankind.

What is the problem of mankind?

The problem is SEPARATION FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD......CAUSED BY SIN.

This Problem started from the beginning AT THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

Jesus, a blameless lamb, came to remove the barrier of sin between man and God...

No Religion offers to solve the problem that has started from the beginning... which is the problem of SIN, a major separator between man and God.

I will answer the second question soon.
The word of God is man's manual. people dont get it.

It is you who started first, to avoid directly answering Seun's simple question.

You prevaricated because you knew honestly answering the question will expose the truth that Jesus Christ did not demand obligatory monitised tithe giving from His followers and/or admirers for Him or His ministry when He was alive
You are wrong because Mathew 23:23 proves tithing is alive. I already answered Seun's question directly.
Seun asked :
Seun:
Do you believe that Jesus demanded monetary tithes from his followers when he was still alive?
I replied.
He encouraged it in Mathew 23 : 23.
I consider that an implicit demand.
Christianity Etc › Re: To Anti-tithers : How Was The Church Funded In Jesus' Time ? by CodeTemplar(op): 8:43pm On Jan 03, 2019
MuttleyLaff:
It is very clear you don't understand his question.

Think about, did Jesus demand or receive monetary tithes for His ministry, is different to, did Judas receive, on behalf of Jesus, money?
Those guys are avoiding simple questions after 40 comments here. Jesus was aware Judas was keeping money the twelve disciple spent.
Most folks here are avoiding the question because they know the answer to it will expose their opposition of tithes and other seeds.

Poverty issa bastard.. This is the first time I would be getting an offer above 100k. When the chinese HR called me on phone and said "You are the guy we want to work for us. we will be offering you 150k".. I quickly jumped at the offer because I earn 40k at my former place of work. When I was going through the interview process, they asked how much I earn at my current place of work, I said 180k for a graphics designer position.
So, when they offered me 150k, povertea don block my brain to negotiate further.
Today, upon resumption after complaining to my HR about salary deductions, he said it was a mistake. He then proceeded to show me my Salary profile. He thought I was looking at mine but I was scanning through my colleagues that we came in at the same time..
700k.. 600k.. 500k

I am in pains!!
I am not envying them.. i am just feeling stupid for not knowing my value.. they know theirs!! I won't make this same mistake..

Chaii embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

Is there something I can do?
Your value ?

Your value has nothing to do with what they offer you guy.
If your value is truly 700k go and start your own small set up and be earning that. Just look for a way to warm yourself into the HR's and employer's heart, you may find favour.

You said you are a graphics designer right?
