Family › Re: When Will Nigerians Start Using Solar Energy For Households? by CodeTemplar: 12:04am On Jan 03, 2019
Solar is good and its cost has been crashing down steadily over the last decade. It is best if the user is power usage conscious.

some energy bulbs are 10 tines more efficient than the old type in use.

Some countries in America and Asia are having bulk solar energy selling companies offer them as low as N20/kwh equivalent of electricity.

Family › Isnt Same Sex Marriage Anti-human by CodeTemplar(op): 4:32pm On Jan 02, 2019
Advanced nations are suddenly legalizing same sex marriage and having animal right law as they evolve and try to remain advanced.

One thing that has caught me attention is the fact that they claim to be protecting animals from extinction when giving them rights or making law to protect them, but it is also funny how they don't see how same sex marriage in humans can bring humans to extinction.

Isn't that a paradox ?

Christianity Etc › Re: The Spiritual Controls the Physical. by CodeTemplar: 1:51pm On Jan 02, 2019
Originakalokalo:
This is correct.

What I am saying is that regardless of one's effort (personal effort is essential) God's factor is essential.

There is no physical without the spiritual.
Agreed. Even man is essentially a spirit because God breathed His breath into clay to start up the first man and He is a spirit.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Spiritual Controls the Physical. by CodeTemplar: 12:14pm On Jan 02, 2019
I agree that Gods favour is needed and good thing but then what should God favour me with?

Some people want to enjoy endless favour without doing anything in life. They want a jeep, a house for free, a nice spouse but God's most liberal and important favour is wisdom.
With wisdom you know what to do and doing it then produces tangible substance that can be used to meet physical needs of men in general.

2 Thessalonians 3 addresses this.

Stop believing nonsense in the name of politics. Bornu is under the effective control of Nigeria security apparatus. ISSA or Iswap or whatever simply fabricated a politically motivated gibberish on behalf of their sponsors. Nigerians are in Bornu state as we speak and they all celebrated Xmas and new year peacefully. Boko haram’s Insurgency is against Nigeria and not Buhari. When we support false narrative against our own government and military, we end up boosting the morale of the terrorists.
Really?
I don't believe that.

Nobody can tell the exact end as Jesus will come and take all unaware. like a thief in the night.

Stop doing end time calculations OP. If I could tell the end time so accurately I will be more willing to sell all my goods and give to the poor in a bid to impress God one last time and stretch my luck.

To save money this year go to a regular church that already has a building so you don't fund one
If he comes up with any projects ignore him
If he mentions jet or has one,run away
Save at least 20% of your own salary monthly
Start a business
Give to the poor and needy mostly
Don't allow an up and coming scammer use you start business
Avoid every church program with funny themes and avoid anyone that gives prophecy or tells stories
If you are in a mega church leave and find a small place that preaches a wholesome message
Develop a personal relationship with God,study the bible
When you go to any program and they ask for seed sit tight nothing will happen
Make up your mind what to give as free will offering and take only that to church
Sow no seeds and make no pledges

I promise this time next year you will testify
If one should generalize here there will be wrong decisions.

Some churches have stations in over 50 nations and have a lot of travelling to do that owning one is perfectly logical. The problem is when another one auditorium ministry leader decides to own a jet for status sake.

Can you imagine the charity Winners or Catholic do around the world alone and then compare it to the travelling schedule of this pastor.

Pursuit of vanity. The way Nigerian pastors are buying private plane, if I become a president, I'll make sure churches are taxed. There's no emotion; I support régulation of the way churches run their book. Founder of South Korea's largest church was tried and convicted for using church funds lavishly. Another pastor in Singapore was also jailed for using his church money to fund his wife's music career. Those are countries where the law works.
I modified my comment please read again .

Oyedepo has one jet under him and has stations in over nations of the earth (over 50 nations ) unlike some one-auditorium ministries owning jets for luxury purpose. Don't mix both please.

You are not making sense but being emotional here. Are the pastors making profit or are they using the jets for personal use?
If you must tax them because of jet then tax them for buying photocopier and handset also because they are all assets aiding the ministry's operation.

What's the name of his church and how many branches has he got spread around the world or how often does he do long distance travels?

These are things that will determine if a private jet is a necessity or luxury in his hands.

Please no one should should compare this guy to Winners and Oyedepo or RCCG and Adeboye who have thousands of branches/stations spread across over 50 nations of the world.

You need to see threads where UI grads were mocking private uni and saying a first class there is third class in UI because of sorting, sex for marks, cultism, and more. Now that the table is turning gradually you guys are trying to deny all those. I thought university system in Nigeria was suppose to make a grad street wise and improves his/her "street credibility"? What suddenly changed? Is all these because reputable international bodies are acknowledging the progress the private universities are making?

You know the problem with most Nigerians? Weakness!
Yes. Weakness in your mind and that explains why no public school ever tried to encourage good grades for decades until some good private universities came along. That explains why the Nigerian uni system is academic focused but grads are always complaining about lack of practicals. If you want to be practical focused go to technical schools, polytechnic, or do a professional masters.

I don't think they do such in UNILAG and if they do, it's at a milder rate compared to other schools. But I've never heard of anyone sorting, you can't even try that in my department

That's a form of sorting too now?

You're right bro.. everything to these people is private vs public university, and it's sickening.
Especially the dumbass you quoted and another oaf called codetemplar (this one is actually worse)..

Every uite knows sorting is impossible.. Nobody even talks about it, you can't talk about what's not gonna happen... I don't know where he saw his imaginary 'lecturer' friend.
You talk like a baby with a weak brain sha...
It is even unilag grads who boast about the sorting that they do in unilag whenever they are trying to justify why making good grades is harder in their school, so what nonsense are you talking about?
You talk as though people associated with covenant uni weren't in the society before going there.

When you guys were doing the bulk of the reputational damages by claiming sorting, discrimination, and cultism gives a unilag grad advantage over grads of private uni grads, where were you then?
When your people were mocking high level of good grades in CU were you sleeping then or what about the dress-code mockery ?

Better don't let me start with you today. This is a new year pal.
