Nasir123: How do u construct your own good n bad when u can't accept people for their believe? How do u do that? So you're going to accept those ones who have the same faith with u and reject those of opposite faith?
Religion is a personal thing my brother. Weda u worship wood or nylon is not my business and vise versa. Provided you're not disturbing others with your way of life, what u worship or chose not to worship is none of my business. Some of us don't do this Religion thing you people are carrying up and down. We don't roll like that.
Thanks. Only a brainwashed man will accept belief that let's others kill him. How can I accept that a Muslim has right to kill me because I haven't accepted his own beliefs? Has he respected my own right to a logical belief system that doesn't infringe on others' right? Just listen to your own self and see how illogical you sound. Religion is personal but makes no sense when one man tries to force others to accept his beliefs. |

I once came across a stat that says around 60 million Nigerians are mentally unbalanced. I think that statistics was a little bit soft.
Oyedepo never implied or said he has dangerous amount of wealth in a bank account or in assets. He implied that he always gets what he needs just when needed and since then so many hateful persons have twisted it out of context to demonize the man. |

The prophet is right in a sense but there is more to a prophet's seed than just emptying your pocket to any self proclaimed prophet.
Is he truly a prophet ? Is he the prophet sent to the person emptying his/her pocket? Does the person sowing belief in the ministry of the sent prophet?
These are key points that will determine of a prophet should receive from a believer. Some people come with psychic power to confuse some innocent believer not spiritually strong enough to discern who real prophets are. Some are after signs and wonders or manifestation of power by all means and as a result they go and meet any prophet with a report of sign or wonder. |

But how many people are even qualified to use those words? Most Nigerian graduates don't think about what they can do with what they have but are only looking for their easy office job that will pay them insanely. How can a graduate of 6 - 7 years say he/she hasn't been doing anything for those years and just looking for jobs. It doesn't speak well.
To use these simple but heavy words one must be engaged and doing something even if just on a personal level. |

I never said that there are no generals now like the ones of old, i was being particular about your Bishop. Can you compare the lifestyle and boastful nature of your Bishop to any of our Apostolic fathers? Is their any resemblance? Mention one of our Apostolic fathers that boasted with earthly riches like your Bishop does. I pity tour type. The bishop talked about being dangerously wealthy by reason of getting what he wants when the need arises and you people somehow find a way to twist it into something entirely different. Do you lack comprehension this much? please read the OP again and stop talking off point. |

OkCornel: Certain fraudsters and charlatans are desperate to smuggle in tithing into Christianity by coining up false terminologies and doctrines such as;
1) Spiritual Levites
2) 100% tithe
3) Jesus is Melchizedek, and received tithe from Abram
4) Tithe is 10% of profit/earnings You are too ignorant for me to start explaining. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze Is A Liar, Tithing Is Very Scriptural And Was Approved By Jesus by CodeTemplar: 12:07pm On Dec 19, 2018 |
Julivas: Brethren, don't let us dwell on this issue and leave out the most important one. The most important thing is your and my salvation. If we have given our lives to Christ Jesus, then let's leave this issue of tithe to our conviction and don't let us judge.
As learned brethren, I think we can meditate on this scripture Matthew 23 : 23 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law: judgment, mercy, and faith. These ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone.
Thanks Mathew 23:23 nails tithe down finally. Jesus only reordered the list and put those other weightier matters above tithe but never cancelled tithe from the list. Even Hebrews too support tithe conclusively. |

nelsonoba: Hebrews 7:8
Pls who is the person Apostle Paul talked about when he said here, "And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth? WHO IS THE PERSON PAUL SAID IT IS WITNESSED THAT HE LIVETH? If you cannot answer that question truthfully, then I have no business trying to carry on with this conversation because it is obvious you are arguing not because you want to know the truth but because you want to protect your greed that makes you feel 10% of your money is too much for God. I think he that liveth is he thay was alive in the spirit when he/she died. The verse is talking about the fact that men receive the tithe physically here on earth but it is accounted unto he who pays in his "record" with Jesus. The problem with the attackers of Christianity is that they are carnally minded and don't want to accept the analogies of the bible. The world is basically spiritual and the complexity and dynamics of the the spirit realm was being relayed to humans through analogy. That's why the bible calls us sheep to describe our followership and and usrs the analogy of a vine to describe our prosperity/dynamics of wealth. The bible is filled with analogies. |
