When your rich, you dont need to show people your rich,, or impress anyone,,, you already know his net worth.... But when your broke or poor you wear expensive thing, to look rich in peoples eye, especially to girls...with fish brain
Exactly!!!

When I try to pass on this message to some folks, they'll be like: Ah, leave that thing! Don't you know we are Africans?

And I'm like: Okay na. Continue in your folly. Keep playing the 'eye-service' game. But please don't come complaining to me when the shoe starts pinching you very hard.

I once read somewhere that none of Mark's family member is working at Facebook. I think the article stated that his sister worked there but she too later resigned. They are all minding their own personal business.

But if it were to be naija, hmm, I'm sure every member of his family, uncles, cousins, aunties, even in-laws will be laying claims to his business and trying to 'get their own share', so to speak.

Seriously, the typical African man's mindset is so damn warped. embarassed

Uche Pedro that was there doesn't have access to live stream abi? The truth must be told, its time for Seun to start mingling with his folks, been a programmer doesn't mean you have to be isolated, don't sit at Ota and rearing dogs and discussing atheist..

I hope you listen to my advice... Change!!!
I don't know why it's so hard for so many people like you to just mind your own business.

Why must you keep on trying to redefine another person's life?

If you so much like to share Mark's presence, then what stops you from becoming a programmer yourself and hopefully getting an invite someday?

If I may ask you, can you exactly tell me what Seun stands to gain by going there and 'mingling' with his fellow programmers like you are suggesting?

I'm not saying those who want to go to see Mark shouldn't but frankly speaking, you making it sound like it's imperative that Seun should be there sounds quite odd to me.

Can you imagine? You are even telling him what you think he should be doing with his own time!!!

Anyway sha, I know you mean well for him but the thing is, people should try as much as possible to put themselves in the other person's position before criticizing or reaching a conclusion.

I don't know for sure but I have this feeling Seun is hit with the extreme case of introversion and for you to pull an introvert out of his comfort zone is like taking fish out of the water.

How long do you think the fish is going to last?

I am an introvert myself so I think I know what I'm saying.

Believe me, when you tell someone like Seun he should go and see Mark, his most probable response will be: to what end?

My point is: we all don't want the same thing.

While some of us cherish fame so much and will do anything possible to be so famous, rub shoulders with the high and mighty, shake the hands of presidents and grab all the attention from fans and all that; some of us don't even want to have anything to do with being famous at all.

You may not understand this concept very well, but then again it is what it is.

Truly we Nigerians are BAD student of history! We can be likened to the Israelites of those days...when God decided to take them away from Egypt(captivity), through wilderness to canaan(promise land)..they cried and wailed..claiming to be better off in Egypt..

Same thing is happening now, we have been crying for diversification..now we are in a situation were we can painfully, but slowly diversify..we are crying! We are paying for recklessness in embezzlement and lack of vision on the part of our past leaders.. Longing for a government official that kept giving us an utopia Nigeria on paper..despite the oil bloom, nothing to show for it...

I can imagine how she would be laughing @ how gullible majority of citizens of her country are..
You're so right.

Unfortunately, many of our people are so damn myopic.

Wow!

Igbos are too much!!!

My question remains did the Biafrans build these war machines in readiness for the impending war or did they build it under the pressure of necessity during the war years?

Because if the Biafrans engineers were able to accomplish such feat under such a short period between the period of Ojukwu's announcement of secession in 1967 and end of the civil war in 1970, then it is a very big shame to Biafra and the entire Nigerian engineers and Nigeria as a whole that almost five decades since that war, we still cannot provide our citizens with CONSTANT POWER SUPPLY. embarassed embarassed embarassed

Ioannes:
That you don't understand something fully doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You as a person, how well do you know yourself? If you think you know yourself a 100%, then ask friends and family members and I'm sure they reveal aspects of you you didn't even know existed. I won't even go to what your enemies will be able to say about you. Not knowing yourself fully does not negate the fact that you exist does it?

Now, if you a mere mortal don't even know yourself fully, how do you expect to know your creator?

If you really want to know God, a real experiential knowledge about your creator, I have just one answer for you. Know thyself.

When you know yourself, then you'll come close to the beginning of the knowledge of God for we are all created in the image and likeness of the Almighty God.

Search for Him, He exists.
Did I tell you God does not exist?

I am agnostic and I believe 100% that God exists.

What I am trying to say is that there is nothing about God that you or any mortal as a matter of fact can possibly tell me about God based on the simple fact that you are speaking from your very limited knowledge... or putting it succinctly, YOU ARE JUST GUESSING.

So when you make up all your man-made laws and try to push them onto me and tell me that's what God wants, just know that I am silently laughing at you and your folly.

N2 trillion / 170 million ≈ N11, 746.71 each.

garbage from a cantankerous yoruba muslim pretending to be 'Ray'. They hate Igbos but still want to keep drinking oil in the land of the foreigners.

I have challenged them severally to allow the peaceful dissolution of nigeria and give the East just 10 years, then we will take comparative stock between lagos and the Eastern cities. I have no doubt that Lagos will be as useless as Porto-Novo another yoruba port city that wasn't fortunate to smell crude oil.
Even your president through (Garba shehu) have acknowleged Biafran technology potentials.

Just 10 years! If we don't start sending food aids to you in yoruba and hausa land, then may God punish Biafra.
My question is: must nigeria disintegrate before the east will achieve greatness?

C'mon, what is stopping or holding back the east from achieving that greatness right now?
