StarBoard:except that mata has been electrifying since he started wearing the blue shirt. too bad, the tools at chelsea would rather play him wide to accommodate a useless frank lampard who cannot boss the midfield anymore. he started last night and he was w@nk. adam dicked him throughout. Funny you suddenly realized the part about AVB's age and the players he has to deal with after he's dropped 3 of 4.he had no such problems when the geriatrics were out of the team injured. all of a sudden, it became a taboo to drop lampard/drogba and the other mafiosos in south west london. But he isn't doing anything wrong according to you while his defence fails to keep clean sheets at home. He's dropped 4 games already,3 to rivals expected to finish around him in the final league placings (including an Arsenal side that hadn't won away since March),yet he's doing nothing wrong.united had a more appalling record some few seasons back. the results against the big teams mean shyte if one can beat the other 15 teams home and away. i don't know how people place much importance on intangibles. He isn't doing anything wrong by starting over-rated slowpokes like Mikel at the expense of Raul Meireles, irresponsible defenders like Luiz while Alex doesn't even make the bench.mikel is better than meireles and luiz is far better than alex. anything else? we have been told on these very pages that starting torres instead of drogba and the exclusion of lampard is the reason chelsea haven't been formidable this season. last night told us lampard is washed and drogba should retire before it's too late! This AVB fellow simply doesn't know what it takes to coach in England. If he thinks assuming the crouching posture during games and all the associated effizzy is all it requires,he should go and learn a thing or two from his country man in Madrid. |
coded guy:our midfield is w@nk because of the formation - nothing to do with the quality. in the games we have played a 3-man midfield with our senior midfielders, we boss those games. we win and dominate the so-called talent midfielders in the league. it's when we play the pathetic 4-4-2 with out n out wingers that we struggle. against city, united had only anderson and fletcher playing against barry, silva, yaya toure and milner. it was a total mismatch. when evans got sent off, fletcher had to play in the right back position. . . .then it became anderson vs 4 city midfielders. how's he expected to battle these lots all by himself? nani and young are touch-line huggers. valencia is even worse. they collect the ball and they run on the touchline. with the 2 wingers pulling teams wide. . . .the central midfield becomes an ocean of space. the other teams just overload us in the middle and then people will keep yapping their mouths about anderson's mediocrity or carrick's football brain. |
Where do you get your "stories" from? Impressing without money is the hardest task for an average Nigerian male.
every nigerian male is a basketmouth/teju-babyface! nigerian males will make you laugh till your ribs break.i am sure those things impress you! |
pendo89:then it's left for the babe to weigh her options. of course, there are plenty of "money-miss-road" men out there who cannot keep up with the pace of a good conversation. i understand that perfectly. as a guy, i cannot even stand daft women who are clueless in every topic of discussion. that said, you still have guys who are intelligent enough to wow you with their conversation skills and who also have thick wallets to convert their "sweet" words into action. i can impress any woman without money. it's the easiest task for the average nigerian male but on the other hand, i am not foolish - i know money talks! ![]() |
Ibime:yes, the portugese keegan have had to deal with the biggest egos of w@nkers on the planet. any club with drogba, lampard, terry and ashley cole is probably doomed. having a bloke who's just 33 yrs of age to manage these big egos and combustible characters isn't going to pan out perfectly. i do not fault villas-boas tactics. in the last 2 home games, he battered his opponents to a pulp but the mediocrity or foolishness of his strikers cost him the game. with more selfless strikers on show, chelsea would have wrapped up 6 points in those games. at a point, liverpool were so dominated, i was thinking it was only a matter of time but malouda and sturridge were just useless beyond useless. chelsea fans should not despair. the thing is everyone knows your team can turn it on when they want to. they clawed up 15 points on man utd last season when many thought they were dead and buried. i just hope they don't leave too much to do before they start winning games. the team is much much better than the results they are showing. the problem of teething pains! |
pendo89:my friend, action speaks louder than words! you cannot really have a nice time with a newly-met babe without spending! there will be dates, someone has to pay for those dates. even if we go dutch on the bill on the first date, the subsequent dates would still put the man in a position to spend more. besides, babes want their men to pet them. they want to show off to their less-fortunate friends who have losers as boyfriends. so the issue of spending is very vital. it's not like men go out of their way to spend just to impress. for many of us, it's a routine to enjoy life. if i take pendo89 to paris now to shop, i am not trying to impress you. that is where i shop normally. ![]() |
BlueDiva:chelsea have a good team but for the manager to be successful, he must be vicious with the big egos in chelsea. mata was drafted wide yesterday to accommodate lampard. everyone knows mata is more efficient operating from the middle and feeding his strikers with through-balls. villas-boas won't drop lampard cos if he does, terry would go to the media and remind the audience how much of a world-class lampard is. chelsea also miss michael essien. he would have been a reliable tool for villas-boas. the attack is what baffles me. i don't think villas-boas has done enough work with that department of the team. his strikers are selfish. always putting their selfish dreams ahead of the team. it's so amusing that chelsea could have gotten 6 points in their last 2 home games if sturridge wasn't a w@nker and if malouda had played with more selflessness. |
Ibime:ibime has to be the most obdurate human being in the world. for crying out loud, villas-boas did nothing wrong last night. i watched the game around liverpool fans and for the large parts of 2nd half, chelsea were the dominant force but they had 2 useless players in their attack - malouda and sturridge. until the manager sorts out their selfishness and their lack of team spirit, chelsea will struggle. i cannot count the number of times sturridge cut in and instead of feeding his strike partners the ball, he opted to shoot straight at reina. this is why welbeck is a better player than sturridge. malouda does not have a football brain. these 2 players let chelsea down big time from what i saw. even the goal sturridge scored from was a total mis-kick from malouda. he was shooting on target but he shot wide enough for sturridge to tap it in. this is the same ibime that has slated torres for drogba and lampard for other chelsea midfielders. lampard did nothing on the pitch. drogba was just oops, drogba! even with the changed formation, chelsea lost. who is ibime going to blame now? or torres lost chelsea the game from the bench? then he blames mikel obi - when petr cech is a tool. how can you make such a pass to a midfielder backing a host of hard-working players. he put mikel in a difficult position to turn and spread the play. why didn't cech just hoof the ball instead of that dangerous pass that left chelsea exposed? i said it in the summer when chelsea brought this excellent manager. he's too good for a team like chelsea and i knew then chelsea would ruin his reputation. a manager that did not lose a game in the league last year has now lost 4 premier league games and we are not even in december yet. he should never have taken this job. chelsea is a club where nothing works. . . .mourinho was able to do it then because of the epileptic state of his rivals in 2004. if guardiola manages chelsea, he will be lucky to finish in the 5th position. |
coded guy:they both have their strengths and weaknesses but i doubt scholes was as good as anderson in 1997! anderson was never a central midfielder when he was purchased from porto. united converted him from his natural position to be playing in a 2-man midfield with 2 out and out wingers. of all the teams playing 4-4-2 in europe, united midfielders have the most difficult task. nani + valencia tend to make the pitch wide for central midfielders as they are always on the touchline. ashley young is even worse. when carlos quieroz was here, he doesn't risk nani + ronaldo on the flanks in big games. cos that will leave the midfield exposed as the 2 portugese wingers are too out n out. he either played ji sung park who isn't a winger or he played ryan giggs there and giggs has stopped being an out n out winger for at least 4 seasons - so the task is more difficult for our midfielders than any other team in the land. in my own opinion, we should dump 4-4-2. it's an obsolete formation! |
coded guy:u get time, sha!!! if you look at the previous comments of the same poster slating anderson for carrick now, he has criticized carrick more often than not in time past. united fans have hidden agenda all the time. how can anyone even blame anderson in a game he did not feature? yes, carrick was magnificent against #coughs coughs# swansea. a team from wales. for bleeps' sake, if carrick cannot shine playing against a team from wales, what the feck is he doing @ man utd? with the way fergie set out on saturday , it was obvious we were doing the european game format. score a goal-->keep possession--> play within themselves--->keep swansea at arm's length! this has always been michael carrick's forte! in games like this, he is the best english midfielder in the land. i ask. . .what about games where united are goals down and urgency is required? has carrick played very well in games like that? the answer is no! this is why proactive midfielders like cleverley and anderson earn their stripes. carrick is a reactive midfielder. he stops the opposition from playing, he doesn't create chances(at least not since 2009) when fergie started playing him deeper to protect the back four. if anderson had played on saturday, his role would have been different from where carrick played and he's not even suited to such "wait until you are attacked" mode! in terms of creativity, anderson has been our best midfielder this season. statistics confirm that and anyone with a working pair of eyes must have seen that. we were poor against swansea. we were only excellent at stopping them from playing. creativity-wise, it was a show of shame watching multi-million pound talents labouring to undo a team from wales. our first corner-kick came in the 80th minute or so and starboard has the gall to criticize anderson? this negrito needs to be crucified or set on fire. . . . . .or both! |
it's the season of lunatics! time to go on holiday and desert this zone! |
seedord247:you are learning, very good! just keep it in broken english and all shall be forgiven! |
omega25red:he should have just said early 30s, mid-30s, late 30s, etc 30-35 is a bit scary! ![]() |

Pukkah:and there's acute hunger all over the land. i like what you did there. kudos, pukkah! |
Babasessy:it's a disgrace! africans pride themselves in these meaningless awards. even stark illiterates in nigeria bag honorary awards here and there all the time. big up to that guy that refused to collect the award he was given. |
palma:you are a friendly troublemaker. ![]() |
werepeLeri:yes, this is exactly what i intend reducing you to. next time, you would look properly before you spew balderdash. i would have weighed heavy on you but i pity the donor of your y-chromosomes. geriatric simpleton like yourself. you won't read, you won't listen - all you do is continue to feed us with baloney synonymous to what agberos dicsuss at cms bus-stop. |
werepeLeri:you cannot even buy yourself quality education, you wanna buy my entire household? you product of a cheap drunk fuck - the product of another poverty-stricken nigerian male with malnourished brain who thinks he can feed the public with his myopic information! i blame your mother for allowing the y chromosomes to fuse with her x chromosomes. she should have taken you with a bottle of guinness stout and prevent the conception of an indolent bastardo like yourself. your parents should chair the association of mental handicaps for the next 200 years! |
werepeLeri:the exact rebuttal i expect from a homoerotic nuisance like yourself. if your biological mother wasn't disvirgined by a gorilla, i would have been surprised. . . .but since i know the truth. . .none of your spineless comments can move me an inch! product of a failed educational system. musKeeto:the truth is you are not any different from werepelice. . . . .y'all are siamese twins co-joined by brain cavity. |
montelik:they all have their rituals. nani must stand at the back of the queue when the team is coming out of the tunnel(same as berbatov and ronaldo) - when they are not captains! henry will not take penalties if he won the foul leading to the penalty. gary lineker changed his shirt for the second half of a match if he hadn’t scored, but continued in the same shirt if he had. gary neville refused to change his boots and continued to wear the same belts and shoes while he was on a winning streak. he even stuck to an identical grooming routine, once admitting "i've worn the same aftershave all season" shay given always places a container of holy water in the back of his goal. |
armyofone:you took this out of my mouth. we are only concerned about moving him from his wretched shed to a proper house. has anyone actually told mr obuh he would be given some tangible sum to open a shop where he can make daily income? if he knows there's income to be made from this, he wouldn't be so scared of the future. let's not concentrate too much on the accommodation! give a man a fish and you have not helped him. tell a man how to fish and you have solved his worries. ifyalways, you have come this far. you just don't give up on people especially a man like mr obuh who must be thinking he's dreaming with all these mouth-watering offers coming his way. a man that has wined and dined with poverty for eons will find it hard to believe his life is about to change. let's take it easy with him. |
werepeLeri:you are a consummate tool! so because you were lucky enough not to have been murdered by boko haram in few dinghy beer parlours you went to now means nigeria is safe. are you saying you covered the length/breadth of the 4 states you mentioned and you can confirm these places are peaceful? you are a product of a failed educational system. what an arsewipe! |
scarletdp:blackberry torch will actually buy 1500 blocks? really? i have a brand new torch 2. how many blocks will it buy? |
It is a fragrant topic but culminated minds must take heart and discuss it. At this antediluvian stage I am innundated with gigantic scrapes even some matured minds may not accomodate. .It started a few years back when we were still catholics, ma dad was a devoted christian with albatros in the catholic church. Unfortunatly at the early age of 12, i saw ma dad loose ma mum to the parish priest (rev.father) I expected ma seniors to have a say but they dare not cus ma mum loved us so much. It was so obvious that ma dad stopped sitting in front of the church, later stopped going, later stopped us from going to catholic church. As time went on i finished ma secondary education and travelled. I later got informed that ma mum had abdicated from seen the priest. We became one happy family again. Later that year i was told that ma dad now dates a benin woman. knowing very well what we had seen in the past, i adviced my senior brother to be mute and just pray over it.Years has gone by until this same week i had a problem with ma mum concerning marriage, i called my junior to inform him about what ma mum said, only for me to be told that ma dad is now the minister for women affairs. (in his 60s)waooo, what a situation. My mum is so laconic about the whole thing but ma dads seems to be graduating from benin women to calabar women to different women. I have finished all my dictions to confront him as am no longer a child. Where do i start? how to an introduce it?
you are a full-grown man now - you have to confront him.as long as you don't wait for his handouts, you have to sit him down and tell him his irresponsibility is smearing the family name. warn him sternly you will go to your mum if he persists with his extra marital affairs. |
