Politics › Re: Seun Kuti: Peter Obi Is An Opportunist, Only Nigerians Can Save Nigeria (Video) by CoolAmbience(m): 9:50am On Feb 06, 2023 |
SmartPolician: He went on to say that Peter Obi is an opportunist who switched to the LP after losing the PDP primaries.
Too much drinking and smoking marijuana like the druggie is a bad thing.
Does this one even know what's happening in his country? Did Peter Obi ever contest in PDP presidential primaries?
Someone should tell this guy that leadership gives direction and nothing ever works in a country without the right leaders. Seun may not be entirely correct by saying that Obi lost PDP primary before leaving for the LP. The fact is that Obi actually didn't feel that he could win the primary election of the PDP. He felt overwhelmed, and had to go to a smaller and less competitive space. Had he stayed put in the PDP and won, by now, he would have generated tons of voltage that would have given the APC series of heart attacks by now. The bigger the party, the bigger the ripple it creates within the political space. This is characteristic in politics. For me, the decision to not see through his intention to vie for the presidency under the PDP, demonstrated a lack of courage and clear unpreparedness, to tackle Nigeria's problems head-on. You can't be seen to be hiding away from huge problems. This no be governorship matter o. Whatever resistance Obi saw in the PDP that made him leave cannot be bigger than the resistances he would find, in the event that he emerges as Nigeria's president. Seun is right in this respect. You can't get overwhelmed by PDP and think you can work through the general elections. No person with extensive knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian politics will take you seriously. |

oluseyiforjesus: Kwankwaso should just step down for Obi, to write his name in the heart of good Nigerians Who sabi Obi? Person wey run comot from PDP primary which is a far more developed party, and which offers him a greater chance of winning Nigeria's presidency. Who was he scared of contending with? Atiku or Wike? Now, he still has the same Atiku, and a more bigger political juggernaut, Tinubu, to surmount. Had he stayed in the PDP and won the primary, that would have sent shivers down the spines of the APC. Had he won the PDP nomination, he stands a chance of having huge funding base to rest on. Election no be beans o. Let alone running for the presidency. He left APGA for a more structured, broad based party, PDP, why did he have to leave the PDP for LP, which APGA that he left earlier, according to INEC stats, is bigger than? The man dey front abi e dey go back? For me, that is a display of cowardice. If he believes pranks would be played in the PDP primary, what makes him think that an even bigger prank won't be played in the general elections? The man is just too inconsistent.....Make Obi go rest abeg. |

You believe that Tinubu singlehandedly handpicks Lagos governors...then, when they perform, you do not think the same Tinubu that 'put' them there deserves any commendation. Tinubu orchestrated Ambode removal abi? Is Sanwoolu not doing better than Ambode? Isn't this a representation of Tinubu's wish for Lagos? You guys should cut some slack for this man, Tinubu. Hate or like, he has a penchant for big things. Imagine, Lekki Deep Seaport, Africa's largest Rice Mill, Imota Rice Mill, Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan Railway, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway etc... Believe it or not, Tinubu had a hand in all of these critical projects. |

Realist12: All I have to say is . If Nigerians like let them vote rubbish and men without antecedents. Lagos economy has been forged on solid road map and will continually grow . It survived 16 year onslaught from the then ruling party PDP , it's still flourishing well as a ruling party. All we need is visionary leadership that can set a valid road map for the country , not boxers or models. Buhari has done his best sanitizing our public sector unlike PDP " share the money tenure " I can't wait to see students loans , credit based economy, regional industrial hubs and ports when Nigerians get it right. Tinubu isn't a promise and fail . BAT2027 ♾
Meanwhile It's beautiful seeing president Buhari smile . I'm so loving the Banquet showing on TVC right now 😍. You are very correct! Just sit back and take a cursory look at each state in Nigeria... Lagos clearly is about the only one with a masterplan for a sure, long term direction for infrastructural revolution and economic growth. Tinubu, for me, is the best of the top four contenders. |

ZeroAccess: I laugh at urchins when I read there comment here, saying Obi is more damaging to Atiku than Tinubu lols.
Let me break it down. Before the emergency of Obi, Tinubu want to use the sentiment of Power must return back to the south to blackmail the Nigeria people, just like he did for his party, which made him get block votes.
With the emergency of Obi, tinubu can never get any block vote in any region, cos he can't campaign on the basics of power rotation as Obi will be the most suitable if that is the case.
Tinubu is just an entitled overrated politician, apart from thuggery and vote buying tinubu can boast of goodwill vote. And anyone thinking that 2019 election is same with 2023 is day dreaming.
Obi will defeat blalablu in the south, 100% how on earth will tinubu then defeat two son of the soil as calculated by urchin lol. Even illorin which is the head quater of Yoruba Muslim won't get tinubu a block vote as saraki will work to scatter that.
All in all, the entitled druglord must learn a bitter lesson in the election. Which one is 'emergency of Obi'? Bro, make we leave long talk, gain no dey inside am. Election is next month. |

JASONjnr: If you don't go to church, the church goer will classify you as a Satan and a devilish person.
But. they will go to church and gossip people sitting next to them.
The church goers are extremely wicked even at their place of work.
Africa has the highest number of churches and yet we have the highest number of evil committed against man.
From rituals to terrorism, to raping and molesting, to misuse of office and subjecting people to hardship and many more ..
There is no need trying to figure out which is church and the world.
I told a girl I don't go to church and she blocked me... The same girl that was disgraced later for sending nudes.......
Many non-church goers are closer to God than the church goers. I am yet to understand why people, in their millions, pack themselves within small and large buildings every Sunday, in the name of serving God? I don't go to Church o, because I really don't understand what happens there, in comparison with the level of inhumanity, promiscuity, criminality, suspicious, fraud, killings etc, involving numberless church goers, everyday. Imagine, every minute people are asking for forgiveness of sins that they are unwilling to stop committing forever...I really don't get. You fit try am with Traditional African religion |

I knw normal people wo became millionaires in this same regime..
Govt is just to assist us.
The poor will always suffer...
Na universal principle..
Govt will contribute only 10% to our future..
Its high time we reduce our blame on the govt and focus on our untapped potentials.. It is small mindedness that is worrying most Nigerians, especially the youths. They think that government is meant to do everything for them. How did Obi change the lives of Anambra people? People should focus on making themselves better everyday, and by extension, their communities and societies. If we become better, then we have a larger pool of better people in our societies and communities, who can get into leadership positions, and further enhance our collective lives. No government can cater for every if its citizens. The citizens have even more roles to play than the government. We should all start playing our respective roles: being good citizens, shunning crime and negative vices etc. Imagine, going about kidnapping people for ransom, taking hard drugs, indulging in cyber crime, stealing, lazying about without engaging in any productive venture daily, refusing to do any job because they seem denigrating, refusing to learn a skill or trade etc, and turning around to blame the government for everything bad happening in the country |
