maestroferddi:You are certainly not well, and I can't help you. How did Tinubu come into the mix? Instead of you to spend time typing Obi's landmark projects, you are here writing rubbish. You guys think you can fool everyone with lengthy epistles about Obi? It is very simple. Provide us with his landmark projects. |
Xscape1993:Your opinion! For me, Buhari remains the best president Nigeria has had. The projects are there for everyone to see. |
Antivirus92:I am from Nanka in Orumba North LGA. So, give me Obi's landmark projects? |
Antivirus92:What use is that information? Just name Obi's landmark projects. I could easily name any town and the LGA where it is located. I could easily say Nanka or Oko or Awgbu in Orumba North. You can see that the information helps in no way. However, that doesn't change the fact that I am from Anambra, and from a town close to Obi's. |
lightskinnigga:What has humility got to do with capacity? Is he the most humble person in Nigeria? Has the Nigerian presidency become a humility contest? How do you even measure humility? By a former governor sitting next to commoner in Church? Did you even read what you wrote? So, what will call you a sitting president who sits or stands next to a commoner? I have had the opportunity of standing and sitting with presidents, including Emmanuel Macron, so what words would you use to describe them? It has to be something better than humility. Oga, Peter Obi doesn't have what it takes to be Nigeria's president, and he won't be. He is from Agulu, a town close to mine. However, I am not letting that becloud my judgement. He isn't cosmopolitan enough, in the Nigerian sense. What does he know about the Yorubas, Tivs, Hausas, Okpes, Nupes, Jukuns, Efiks, Ijaws etc, of Nigeria? Let's forget about whether or not he is humble. I won't dwell on that. It is obvious you do not know Peter Obi. Oga, I sabi am well. Cunny, inflexible, conceited. Those are words that can easily be associated with him. Have you wondered his relations with his then Deputy, Dame Virgy Etiaba? Abeg, let's leave all that. My own is, I need a list of Obi's landmark projects in Anambra. That's all. Just yesterday, his predecessor, Dr. Chris Ngige, corroborated the same thing I have been saying for months, roads constructed by Peter Obi are now terribly bad. If truly Obi performed excellently. Why have Anambra people been rejecting his choice candidates, Henry Oseloka Obaze and Val Ozigbo, for Office of Governor? What is his relationship with Willie Obiano, that he installed? How well did Obiano perform? I am really very disappointed with young people who allow themselves to be fooled by the chance of an Obi's presidency. It's clearly not feasible. It is a waste of time. |
Siwel25:That is the thing....how they think they can fool the majority of the people is what I am unable to fathom. Some of us aren't just from Anambra. We are very unbiased and prioritize Anambra's and Nigeria's overall interests. Peter Obi is NOT capable of leading Nigeria. That is a statement of fact. Someone will say how... It's simple. What was his report card of performance in Anambra? For me, the most overwhelming feature of his incapability is his inability to build bridges across the country. Who are his long standing political allies and associates across the country? Southsouth, Southwest, Northcentral, Northeast....who are they? How many of them have been following him about, as he consults? Is not about wearing one kind of clothes and trying to fool the masses with modesty and all the 'recreating Nigeria into China' jargons. Nigeria is not China. What worked or works for China may not necessarily work for Nigeria. How many people aspiring to be President elsewhere keep saying they would turn their country into another country? Why not articulate your own programs, bearing your country's peculiarities in mind, and stop the China this, China that. Is there a law that says that a state government can't partner to build a power plant in Nigeria? He was talking about enhancing power generation and supply in Nigeria; and how some countries did it, the other day. And I ask, what did he do, regarding power supply as governor? Even if it is in form a proposition to the Central government (FG) on how to improve power supply in Nigeria. China does not practice democracy, Nigeria does. It is easier to employ some fiat in Chinese leadership than it is in Nigeria. Providence gave Anambra ( a micro-Nigeria) to Peter Obi for 8 years, what did he do with it? Now, he wants to fix the whole Nigeria in 4 years? Peter Obi should not make me angry. He should better respect himself. |
PrinceOfLagos:E get personal money? That's makes for the more fun.... People should take back as much as they can, not just from Tinubu, but all of them. .....And may the looter with the highest degree of most human feeling emerge victorious. |
foryourmindlol:Oga, make we hear word.... Obi didn't do anything unheard of in Anambra. Did he conduct LGA elections? By what amount did raise the state's IGR? Could you share Obi's landmark projects? Which sensible person would rank Anambra among Nigeria's top 5 performing economies? What are your yardsticks? Because Obi paid salaries and pensions? How many factories and industries were set up under his watch? |
olaudahequi:Lol. Is Edo not in Southern Nigeria? Let him appoint a core Northerner, and let's see. |
Megatrix:You dey mind them? For me, with a great deal of strategic campaign work, Ken Nnamani could easily be the best presidential aspirant from the Southeast. He is way ahead of Peter Obi, Anyim Pius and Chris Ngige, in terms of the potential for national acceptance. |
Sergio104:Can we have the list of these so-called millionaires and their bank statements? Oga, leave all these yeye statistics. All of us na millionaires. Any of them dey feed you or me? Abi you enter anybody account go check? I am from Anambra state....abeg, make we leave matter. |
ImmaculateJOE:You guys like to derail important treads with ignorant comments. What do you mean by 'lets start from the presidency'? From 1999 till date, the South has done 14 years while the North is struggling with around 10 years...so what's your point, as it relates to the post? |
Rollsnjaguar:Lol. When una dey hail IPOB terrorists nko? Na una sabi...evidence ko, providence ni. Shey una bin say Army dey see dem, dey run... |
Mandate2023:This is his punishment. He will go everywhere but he won't get anywhere. He would be ripped off of Rivers people money. Fact is, no one likes Wike. He is wasting his time in the North. |
rafabenitez:E pain am. I have always said it. Let's watch and see. How dare they dare the Nigerian military? Oga, tune to your tv and watch. U never see anything. IPOB apologist! |
slimfit1:Why are Igbos crying more than the bereaved? Fulani killings yet Igbos still stay and travel down the North on daily basis. Who are the farmers in Nigeria? Northerners...why are you the one crying? Are you a farmer? Abeg, you people should stop heating up the polity with your hateful exaggerations. |
slimfit1:Coward! Soludo won't be a coward like you. Buhari never kept quiet about killings in the North. That's a satanic lie. If he did, would people in nearly all the idp camps in Borno state, that have now returned to their communities, not still be in those camps? |
Michelle70:You just spoke the scripture truth! |
LegendHero:Instead of them to quickly work on a consensus candidates, one each from the two major political parties, on behalf of the SE, and start mobilizing resources and voters across the country, especially in the entire North and Southwest, they are there talking nonsense. Our matter for SE don taya me sef. Nobody just wan get sense. |
anonimi:First, If you knew what transportation was like in Lagos before 2008 when the first set of Bus Rapid Transit system was introduced, you would appreciate the sheer will power of someone like Fashola. Even though he has not declared to run, Fashola remains that Nigeria from the South, with the right balance of will power and intellect to drive Nigeria at an accelerated pace of rounded development. His hands-on approaches are both admirable and commendable. You could see the quality in the delivery of the Lekki-Epe 8-lane highway. You also need to go check out the quality in the Bonny-Bodo Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and 2nd Niger Bridge projects, as well. While I think that, for equity sake, it is the turn of the South, to produce the next president, I also strongly believe that the two other Nigerians most suited for the exalted position of president are Mohammed Buba Marwa and Babagana Zulum. |
tsinzu:Stop talking nonsense, there are military checkpoints all over the Southeast. Stop saying what you don't know. I was in Anambra recently. I passed through one between Nanka and Ekwuluobia, and another traveling from Awka to Oko via Umuawulu and Awgbu. There is even a checkpoint just before you get on the Niger Bridge from the Asaba end. You are just a petty liar! |
alsudan:The real wound of the SE will happen soon, as the activities of the IPOB / ESN continue unabated. If we think we've got wound, then let's wait and see. If I may ask, what wound are you referring to? And who inflicted the wound on the SE? If an Igbo man hasn't become president or vice president in the past, over 50 and 40 years, respectively, whose fault is it? Presidency is not given. You've got to, consistently, build bridges across the different parts of the country to earn it. You've got sacrifice. You've got to persevere, and be steadfast in your belief in Nigeria. When I hear my people scream about having being marginalized; and that infrastructures in the SE are dilapidated and decayed, I just hiss. Which sensible people support a political party for close to two decades with nothing to show? The SE gave the PDP over 80% of electoral votes from the region for 16 years, yet got no roads, bridges, railways etc. Whose fault was it? I keep saying it. Igbos do not know how to play politics. Greed and envy will not allow us. If we are serious about anything, by now, we should already have two quality, consensus candidates, one each from the two major political parties in the country. |
festacman:Balanced analysis. No be all these emotions wey people dey litter the public space with... Obviously, Osinbajo and Obi have no tangible records to show, and that is the plain truth. Obi, as governor of my state, couldn't conduct LGA elections in 8 years. How does he convince anyone about being a believer in democracy and governance, when he denied the people at the most vital and fundamental cadre of society leadership and freedom? Please, someone should help me tell Obi to go and rest. As for Osinbajo, for he to be at the helm of conceptualizing and implementing one of Africa's biggest social programs, NSIP, comprising of Tradermoni, Marketmoni etc; and putting in place waterproof loan repayment frameworks, demonstrates how grossly incompetent he is. Let's not get carried away by the finnese, grammar and superfluous academic credentials.... those stuffs do not translate to capacity to deliver topnotch leadership. |
tsinzu:'They have done python dance 1,2, 3 klling innocent people bla bla'.... You see what I was talking about. When the military strikes, it is against innocent people, but when these hoodlums attack, it is the other way round. Just the other, an IPOB apologist like yourself, was questioning why the Navy would be involved in a smoking operation at an IPOB/ESN hideout. He wondered why the operation was not left for the Army alone....Lol. Just wait and see, make we leave grammar. |
Millimann:Please, keep quiet. You think security is by sitting in a room and typing onto social media? I really do not know what you guys think security is. Which government attaches a security personnel to a citizen? Security is about intelligence, and in intelligence gathering, residents and indigenes play a invaluable role. However, where residents and indigenes allow overwhelming fear or develop sympathy for hoodlums, the situation could linger and lead to irreparable losses. This isn't about our security personnel...it is about Anambra people rising up to take back their state or choosing to remain in cowardice while their state gets overrun. It happened in Borno. Anambra might just become the new Borno. Security works when the people rise in unison against terror or criminality, not when a large section of the people applaud and offer assistance to criminals; while at the same time, concealing valuable information from security agents. Where was the security in the US when a gunman shot dead several people in a subway just last week? What does this tell you? These attacks are often on soft targets and guerilla-natured. They hit and run, taking targets unawares and relying on superior numbers. They could never dare face the military. But like I tell everyone, just wait and see what the military does in Anambra. These gunmen go fear fear. My own na, make nobody shout 'blue murder' or 'igbo extermination' or 'innocent people'. |
KingOfAllIgbos:Let's watch and see what becomes of Bukola's offsprings...that will be the true result of whether he actually surpassed his father or not. |
JosephXavier:As far as I am concerned, none of them said anything tangible. To comment on Peter Obi's remark, how many industries did he create in Anambra as governor for 8 years? Abeg, let him shift! Could he even conduct common LGA elections in Anambra? As for Wike, Tinubu and Osinbajo, those ones no just well at all. |
DitariDisciple2:Mtchewww |
DitariDisciple2: |
BabaO2:Mtchewww. Oga, nobody becomes anything without other people, and of course God. Leave the nonsense talk about sagacity. Tinubu became governor because of people. Do not try to arrogate any heavenly or supernatural powers to him. These are the things causing him to loose grounds left, right and center. |
successmatters:You are guys are really funny. Which Peter Obi are we talking about? Is there someone else who bears the name that I do not know? See my brother, this shadow chasing has to stop...until we do, we won't make any significant progress as a nation. Imagine that all LGA Chairmen and State governors are doing what is expected of them, what do you think Nigeria would become? To borrow your word 'salvation'. There can't be salvation for Nigeria until there is individual salvation in the LGAs and states that make up Nigeria. It is that simple! No one single president can make that happen. Nigerians have a huge role to play in achieving salvation for Nigeria. How many of us know who our LGA Chairmen, lawmakers, governors etc, are, let alone scrutinize their stewardships? Now back to your Peter Obi. He was Anambra's governor for 8 years right? Now, can you unequivocally say that Anambra is saved? Can you expressly name Peter Obi's transforming policies, programs and projects in Anambra? Just name 5 of them. What did he do to institute and entrench democratic governance at the grassroot in Anambra? Are you aware that he couldn't conduct LGA elections in his 8 years as governor? What would you call saving most of Anambra's money (I am speaking of tens of billions of naira) in a bank, in which he is a major stakeholder? Oga, anyone with the most basic knowledge of economics, would tell you that strategic investment is what you should prioritize in an employment-strapped, infrastructurally-deficient and sparsely industrialized economy like Anambra (and by extension Nigeria) as opposed to savings. I don't want to go on. Peter Obi is my brother. He is from Anaocha which my LGA shares a boundary with. His town, Agulu, is less than 10 minutes drive from mine, but believe you me, the man doesn't have what it takes to lead Nigeria. |
MorolayoVictor:'What is with hotels today ?'Because na US e happen. If na Nigeria now, una go drag Buhari inside. Besides una dodge the New York City subway attack that left several persons dead and wounded.... |
