Vixlot:I dey tell you. That tells you the kind of people supporting Osinbajo. Ostentatious in appearance but intelligently foolish when they talk or write. |
pocohantas:You are correct. You have to pick 'well' and 'on time' from both to answer correctly. It is not just enough to do work well or on time. There has to be a balance between good work and good time. |
Johnames:Neither of them is good enough for Nigeria's presidency. Osinbajo headed Nigeria's economy team for 7 years, with nothing substantial to show. The methodology with which he handled economic and social programs such as the trader money, clearly shows a man 'not streetsmart' enough to lead Nigeria. Same way Tai Solarin spoke big grammar and criticized the Babangida administration, until he was handed People's Bank to run. You and I know the remainder of the story. How much of the monies Osinbajo gave out to traders have been repaid to ensure continuation and expansion of the program? The problem we have in Nigeria is that we like hyping titles... professor... engineer....doctor... barrister.... senior advocate etc. These are, but streamlined academic trainings. They do not determine quality leadership. Pretending to or having a humble mien doesn't too. I said this before Jonathan became president. Men who never allow people know their stance on critical issues are often very 'dangerous'. They hardly want to have 'enemies'. They strive to be in the good books of everyone....fear such people. Nobody with defined and 'inflexible' religious inclinations makes a good leader, especially within a multireligious, multicultural arrangement as Nigeria. What happened to empirical and verifiable track records? Can anyone name Osinbajo's public service track records vis a vis how Nigerians have become better by them? |
I'm Righthussle:Story! |
qekng40:It is a blatant lie. Tinubu didn't even want Fashola as minister. Buhari overruled him. |
qekng40:It is not always correct. Fashola has Nigerians at heart. You can see that in the passion with which he works. |
Bugatie:Which Obi be that? Pandora or China? We no need any of them. Common LGA elections e no fit conduct in 8 years. His infrastructure projects in Anambra were shabby and he has proved to have a high tendency to proritize personal gain in the face of conflicting interests. Which bank Obi say e save Anambra money again? Which people get the bank? They said he is ingenious with managing the economy, and I ask, which right thinking person saves rather than invest strategically, in the face of massive youth unemployment, huge human capital and infrastructural gaps? Abi, make we vote am because e pay salaries and pension? Both you and Obi should go and sit down! Obi was below par in governance. I be Anambra man. Presidency go swallow Obi pass the way e take swallow Jonathan sef. |
bennybuhari:He is a sitting VP. Certainly, some governors would respond. Why didn't all the governors respond? More governors responded to Tinubu's invite, which was a very short notice. The thing is, Buhari will play the 'game changer' role in who becomes Nigeria's next president. If he doesn't think that it is Osinbajo or Tinubu, then not much can be done. And I don't see him picking either of them. |
MikoB:Lol. Oga, leave matter! I don't support Tinubu o, but Osinbajo should be worried about those claiming to be supporting him. Na politics be this o. It's Buhari that would really determine the direction that things will go in the APC. E go shock people... |
Jostoman:He should just share money and leave. The North no send am. My greatest joy in all of these politicking is that Wike is contesting. I have always wished for this. For him to be ripped off Rivers money big time! |
nullboss:Go and ask your kindreds. |
neoclassical:Baba, no worry, we go smoke them all out! Na only mouth dem get.... |
Fireboy02:Wait until they are all smoked out to see them, since you want to feign ignorance.... |
new2012:Name the universities the PDP built. Let's have them in pictures. Universities that the APC had to complete and make functional..namely the Maritime University in Warri. The hyperinflation and high cost of commodities are global issues....in the UK, US, everywhere. The fact that you made it an entirely Nigerian affair shows how grossly uninformed you are. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/food-inflation&ved=2ahUKEwi6oevsj4r3AhVNSEEAHUgYBCEQFnoECFMQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2DsZrNj3u00Xr1zRFnGnOV Oga, you can talk all the nonsense you want, Nigerians won't let PDP return to power. They were a total mess. I will give a little task, do a research on the origin of kidnapping in Nigeria....I make bold to tell you that it started under PDP leadership. Do the research! So, look for another thing to talk about. |
Parachoko:E no concern you. We no need your advice. IPOB apologist! Does it matter if it is the Air force, Navy or even Vigilante, that is deployed to restore peace? |
Aonkuuse:Oga, If you want to join them, join them. Quit being an online apologist of crime and criminals. Anambra is my state, and I support any measure being taken to flush out all enemies of my state. So, because crime was committed in Edo and the culprits are yet to be apprehended, we should allow criminals to enjoy field days in Anambra? What is your point exactly? |
Eastarn:APC better pass PDP one million times. For staters, APC's new national Chairman is from the North, and most of the aspirants currently vying for the presidency are Southerners. Can you same of the PDP? Their national Chairman is from the North, yet most of their presidential aspirants are from the same North. What a party? In 16 years, PDP couldn't deliver a rail system to Nigerians. APC has done so in 8 years, and they are expanding the rail network across the country. Under PDP, fertilizer blending plants across the country went moribund, save for a few. APC has ensured the revitalization of more than 30 of these plants. The key airports (Nnamdi Azikiwe, Akanu Ibiam, Murtala Muhammed, Aminu Kano etc) in the country have received quality facelift under the APC. The 2nd Niger Bridge is becoming a reality. What about the Bonny-Bodo Bridge project? Calabar-Cameroun Highway; Lagos-Ibadan Expressway etc, Abeg, don't compare both parties at all. |
AntiMen:See person wey dem dey give advice.... Since it grew naturally, allow it to run and complete it natural course na... Anywhere wey e land you, you take am. |
Penguin2:What is IPOB? So, a governor should be scared of them in his own state? You sound so stupid with what you typed. |
oilPUSSY:Oga, take your worthless advice to your state. Soludo will take on them, man for man. Dem no reach. How dare you ask a sitting governor to ignore hoodlums who terrify his people and determine when traders and businesses should operate? Do you know what that means? That a governor should relinquish his powers to hoodlums? Carry your yeye advice go your village, we no need am. We are ready to take on these criminals. Watch and see. Obiano was a coward. Soludo has to be fierce and strategic. They are lucky I am not Anambra's governor, dem for don run go Afghanistan. Who takes such nonsense as a leader? |
ibidapko:These are unnecessary excuses. I really don't know how you rationalize things. How did Fayose recruit people to solve the insecurity in his state? Secondly, it is not correct that the insecurity in Imo state worsened. It actually improved. Oga, uniform men wear uniforms around Anambra. You are not telling the truth. They could face Boko Haram in a large forest, it is in Anambra state that they have to become afraid.... Just watch and see as things unfold. |
Rugaria:Why you come dey comment since e no concern you? Goodwill isn't governance. Everybody can't be a coward like you. Soludo's disposition towards these guys will determine the success of his administration. These aren't guys you dialogue with. They took the fight right to him, without any provocation. Soludo was elected to protect lives and properties; and he has to employ every means possible to do so. Just watch and see. Soludo will take them on. How do you expect him to administer the state when the activities of these hoodlums impact hugely on his administration's earnings? Amaechi smoked hoodlums in the creeks and kept them in check while as governor. No forward thinking governor allows a group of criminals to determine when traders and businesses open or close in his state. Uzodinma gave them fire in Imo. Soludo has to do the needful. You can't show weakness in governance. You give them fire, and then wait with open arms for them to come appealing for dialogue. You don't start going after them begging for dialogue. Dialogue over what exactly? |
Rugaria:Oga, this isn't rocket science. Fayose did same with criminals masquerading as herdsmen in Ekiti. He unleashed Ekiti hunters and they vanished. It doesn't matter what IPOB says. These are criminal activities, hence must be treated as such, irrespective of those involved. Soludo has his job cut out. If e wan sleep for on top bike, make e go ahead. As for me, these guys no reach. Army dey fear bandits abi? Na people like you dey see soldier uniform dey piss for body... Where you anywhere near Anambra during the last election? Na we run the election. Where were your unknown gunmen during the election? |
Nbotee:Oga, before you start defending Osinbajo. He was at the helm when FEC attended to Amaechi's security and surveillance contract proposition. Buhari was out of the country during this period. So, take a chill pill. |
Rugaria:Delved into administration, how? What did anyone in Anambra do to warrant such attack? Soludo has to be decisive and ruthless with his security methods. If he plays with them, they will mess him up. Attacking Soludo's LGA is a direct assault on his person. He has to react sternly. Why couldn't they stop the Anambra election? You needed to be in Anambra during the election. All man behaved themselves. Not acting decisively will cause things to fester. This was how Boko Haram became what they became. It is high time the SE sets up a solid security outfit to combat these guys man for man. Anambra is a small state. Comb every forest and bush. Instituting Monday prayers, for me, doesn't do anything. He has to wake up. This isn't grammar o. This can make or ruin his administration. |
happiness32:Not be only youth revolution.... Abeg, make una shift. Who sabi Yahaya Bello? |
Starzo:Wiseman, if you do NIN or link am with your sim, then you be mumu. |
Truthisunique2:The FG won't do that. No administration has done what Buhari is doing for the SE. He completed the Zik Masoleum project. Reconstruction works on Onitsha-Awka-Enugu Expressway, Arochukwu-Ohafia-Bende Road and Enugu-Port Harcourt Highway are progressing well. The 2nd Niger Bridge is near completion. The chemical and fertilizer blending plant in Ebonyi state has long been revitalized. The Ikot Ekpene-Alaoji-Ugwuaji Switching & Transmission Station has also been completed. Construction of a modern Medical Diagnostics Center is ongoing at the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia. So, this is not about the FG not siting projects in the SE. If these unknown gunmen think they could cow the authorities by destroying properties and killing innocent people, let them continue. Kanu has the law to face. I don't see how this could make the gunmen destroy their own homeland. Nothing justifies what they are doing, and no government should succumb to these threats. I can only blame the governors of the SE for all that is happening. We all saw how Igboho tried to disrupt the relative peace in the SE, and how he was handled. But no, our governors were busy reverencing Kanu until he started to see himself as a demi god. If Soludo knows what is good for his administration, he has to get his acts together and take real charge. |
posty56:That is what you think. |
edmaraja:You dey mind her? Na her papa get Anambra na.... Abeg, make people wey fit chop from her no pity her o. Na public money she dey spend. |
Fahdiga:I agree with you that Fayose is better than Wike, but it is self deceit to say that Nigerians want Obi. It is a big lie! Tell me one reason why anyone would want Obi? Is it because of the substandard roads, that are now ridden with potholes, that he constructed as governor? Or his petty bragging about salary and pension payments to public servants and retirees, as his greatest accomplishment as governor? Or is the N77billion Anambra money he saved in Fidelity Bank (and other banks), a bank in which he is a major shareholder? Or his inability to conduct LGAs elections in 8 years? What was Anambra IGR figures pre and post Obi governorship? Abeg, you and Obi should go and sit down. I am Anambra man, but I will never support someone without capacity to be Nigeria's president. |
IKBARUTEN11:This is why we must not allow a Tinubu presidency. All these nonsense must stop. Sanwoolu na slave to Tinubu. |
