BOYS2MEN:Je gwa nna gi ya kwuchie onu! Onye iberibe! |
pinkPUSSY:Lol. Many, for so long, construed Osinbajo for an intellectual, including myself. But I tell you the truth, the man knows next to nothing. His presidential aspiration has helped us unravel the true personality behind the human facade he embodies. He is such a terrible human being. Imagine him trying to distance himself from an administration, in which his chief constitutional responsibility centers around the economy. Why is he calling G(g)od in everything he says? Does he want to confuse us? So, it is now G(g)od that will come down and address the insecurity that we face? Why do we now vote for humans, instead of G(g)od? |
Daveambition:If you aren't an ignorant fellow, you would have known that what Buhari did, by establishing a Naval Base in Oguta, was a fantastic response, towards addressing the growing insecurity in the Southeast. Do you know how many military bases are in the North? You just sit in the shitty village of yours and type nonsense. You can only put security structures in closer proximity to troubled areas to manage criminality and violence. You can't entirely stop it. Well I understand your concern, shey na una dey hail unknown gunmen? No wahala, the military bases are now being setup. Get ready to engage them, man for man. When we dey condemn unknown gunmen, una dey hail them. Let's keep watching! |
ShobayoEmma:Osinbajo won't be president. Do not overwhelm your mind with that, for the sake of your health. We have decided. Just watch out. When I said that Buhari would be president in 2015, people thought I was joking. |
qekng40:That's incorrect. Osinbajo could never be APC's best candidate. Let's keep watching. If not that the likes of Fashola, Zulum and Marwa haven't declared for the presidency, who be Osinbajo? As it even stands, Amaechi, obviously, will make a better president than Osinbajo. The ideal thing is for the North to retain power for another 8 years. Reason is simple. By 2023, the North would have presided over Nigeria for 10 years, whereas the South has done 14 years. From the foregoing, it is clear that the South has 4 years advantage over the North. So, if the North retains power for another 8 years, this will bring their total haul to 18 years by 2031. Then the South can now take over afterwards to reach 24 years in 2039 (And would still be better off than the North by 6 years). This was what some juggernauts like us saw in 2011, after the demise of former President Umar Yar'dua. Jonathan was supposed to serve out the remainder of Yar'dua's first term, and allow power to return to the North, but he and Obasanjo chose to play worthless 'pranks'. Would you blame Buhari if he 'tries' to ensure that the North retains power? I won't. Infact, if I were him, I would ensure that. That I am a Southerner does not mean that I should be insensitive and insensible. If the South does another 8 years, then we would have presided over Nigeria for 24 years by 2031, against 10 years by the North. |
Malory:Leave that guy...e no well at all. Which sane person will put Stella Odua's name and the word integrity in one sentence? |
Allen102:I am from Anambra state. And with all modesty, I would tell you that I am one of those who waged intellectual and physical war against the enthronement of ineptness, mediocrity, social indiscipline and corruption in Anambra state, in November 2021, by ensuring that Prof. Soludo became Governor. Recall that there was a no-election declaration by the IPOB/ESN, I was one of the thousands of Anambra youths that defied that threat order to ensure that the collective futures of Ndi Anambra is secured. It is not all social media rant. We do it both in the classroom and in the field. We had to reject Andy Uba for our people's collective good. Soludo has four years to benchmark a new Anambra or risk being shown the way out. We will no longer condone mediocrity. Once you get the leadership right, the benefits trickle down. And we can all attest to how Soludo has acted so far. He has bravely moved against the unknown gunmen and revenue touts, whereas touting remains the sacred heavens in the three states that I criticized. Come to Delta, and see how an ex-convict is still being celebrated and basking in relevance to the extent of trying to install the next governor, senators and his own daughter, as a House of Reps member. Go to Rivers and see how Wike is lording over them; and Bayelsa to see how the tiny, little 8-LGA state is drowning from lack of basic amenities in the midst of so much resources. |
Allen102:Oga, I have lived and stayed in all the regions of Nigeria. So, telling you my state doesn't change anything. I can tell you what is prevalent in the different parts of the country. Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa certainly are three of Nigeria's worst states in terms of what I can best describe as a 'terrible stockpile of human beings'. That's a fact. This is evidenced in the character of leaders and 'prominent' people they churn out. The Iboris, Alamieseghas, Tompolos, Atekes, Wikes, Jonathans etc. While you see regular pops of brilliant, new entrants into leadership in other states, these three states remain pinned down by cliques of uncouth and selfish fellows, who keep dragging them backward, without any organized 'challenge' by their people. And of course, all the youths from these states can mutter is 'Buhari'. They never inquire how much their governors receive monthly from FAAC or what the monies are used for. Not like the situation is entirely different in other states, but in these three states, like they would say in Warri; 'na there the juju take hand touch ground'. You may not understand this now. This does not call for defence, as my intent is not to demean any people; but honestly; deliberate and urgent steps have to be taken to redirect things in these states. Money, money, money....drinks, drinks, drinks....women, women, women....hotels, hotels, hotels....what is all this nonsense? No decorum. Zero or quarter-baked education. Absence of useful, competitive skills, You can hardly find any youth to engage in an intellectual discourse. Wetin dey happen abeg? I was talking of the prevalent lifestyles in those states. Did I mention Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers? Aren't they in the same region with the states I mentioned? This is because there is way more decency in those two states, and of course, you can visibly see this benefits in the collective gains in terms of the kinds of leaders they have. You wan compare Udom Emmanuel with Nyesom Wike? Abi na Ben Ayade with Douye Diri? As for Ifeanyi Okowa, that one statue. |
jesusjnr2020:It think that it is plain ignorance to say that pagans worship demons. Do you even know the meaning of the word demon? Demon means 'a source or agent of' 'a bad / evil spirit / angel'. Many people who have been brainwashed in religion believe that they do not have demons. Do religious people drink or womanize or cheat or steal? Do they worship demons because they do these things? For nearly every human, there is a demon...that somewhat overpowering influence to do and keep doing a wrong. It may be excessive drinking, womanizing, stealing, cheating, lying etc. If pouring some drinks on the ground for some people means paying respect to their ancestors, I do not see anything wrong with that. That you do not do it, does not make it an evil or demonic. We have see people carrying cans of water, sand, salt, candles, brooms etc, to 'total strangers' for prayers, and using these items afterwards, with the hope of getting favours from their (G)god(s). Would you call this practice evil? If not, why? Like I always tell my friends, if a bullet proof vest could protect one from death by gunshot, and is not evil; why is odeshi evil, for doing the same? I believe in the existence of a Supreme being. I believe in God. But for religion, it is a big NO. What good has it done other than divide and pit people against themselves? People should be able to believe what they want within the prescients humanity and laws. At the end of it all, there is only one Creator, which means we all came from one place. |
successmatters:There is no if. He can never be president of Nigeria. I blame Rivers people. Very yeye people. They never take anything seriously, except women and drinks; just like their Delta and Bayelsa brothers. Both Delta and Bayelsa are a complete mess. Zero leadership. Misguided and wayward youths. Condemned, deranged, wasteful, shameless and bereft leaders. Miscreants and urchins everywhere. Drug addicts and social misfits being groomed in all corners. No opportunities for the well educated and well mannered. You have to be a known hooligan to succeed. It is terrible! How did Wike ever become an LGA Chairman, Chief of Staff, Minister and Governor? Amaechi played a role in all of these. This is what you get when hooliganism becomes the hallmark for choosing leaders. They should live with him while he finishes his final term as governor. What are his programs in healthcare, education, human capital development? He is just busy building flyovers, squandering resources and flexing muscles with perceived enemies. |
dawnomike:Typical Edochie wisdom. Yul cast sha. The guy just put the family for position wey taya them. But what can anyone do than stay with the new development. That's part of life! All Edochies can't be Pete. |
Ekwuite82:Peter Obi is incapable of coming top 3 in PDP presidential primaries. That is the stark reality. |
Newbreed2018:This Peter Obi of a man is so shameless. Which prepared leader saves N75billion and hands it over to his successor, in the face of deplorable infrastructures and increasing joblessness in his state? Okwute my foot! |
Indispensable85:I like people like you easily. Smart, concise and candid. Osinbajo's obvious avoidance of Osun, Lagos and importantly the iftar dinner invitation of first lady, Aisha Buhari, portrayed him as weak. He could easily have jetted back to Abuja to attend the dinner after his engagement with the delegates and stakeholders he went to see in a Southwest state, the same day. Any smart politician would begin his consultations from the strongholds of his opponents. I will always say it. Osinbajo isn't the right kind of President for Nigeria. I like him as a person, and as an intellectual, but it takes way more than that to be Nigeria's president. We need a president that can look anyone in the eyeballs and say NO on matters that bother Nigeria's greater good, such as improving power supply, security, infrastructure, economic diversification, revamping the education, health, steel and oil sectors etc. Like you rightly pointed out; tough, radical decisions are what would bring Nigeria out of the current situation. Certainly a lot of such tough decisions will greatly impact the elite class....and the Osinbajo that we all have seen, in past 7 years, does not have what it takes to make such decisions. |
MadamVanessa:Imagine the insensible comments from her. 'People talked your husband into allowing go for a second term in the Senate in 2015; and now that you want to leave in 2023, you won't allow the people to make a choice. You want to nominate ( impose) someone on them. I don't blame them. I blame the millions of docile Lagosians. Could anyone sense the ' I am doing you guys a favour' in her comment? She believes she is doing Lagosians a favour by not returning to the Senate, but choosing to relocate to Aso Rock with her husband. She is informing us that she could decide to be both in the Senate and in Aso Rock at the same time, if not that she wants to be considerate, and to do us a favour. Nawa o. Nothing Musa no go see for gate. |
MadamVanessa: |
WoundedLamb:No be lie you talk... Make Yul make sure say e dey lock him room well before e sleep... I no envy him current situation at all. If na me do this one, I go just pass there go one remote village for Taraba go hide, then send my entire kindred to my wife, to placate her first, for at least one year, before I go show face. I know my wife o. |
PDJT:Lol. You dey mind am? I know no wetin dey make dem feel inferior about abroad? Nigeria no be abroad to citizens of other countries? |
SmartProf:That is a statement of fact. You may not like it though. PDP is a very unserious party. Which sensible party elects a National Chairman from the North, and says that it is throwing open its presidential ticket? PDP is lost! For someone like Wike to aspire to be president confirms that the party is now in a ghost mode. |
Fidinno:You are right, but his competence level is still very much in doubt. I do not think that Osinbajo has the steel to run Nigeria. It takes more than loyalty, commitment and transparency to be a great leader. We must be wary so as not to bring in another Jonathan era. Would you say that Osinbajo has done well with his management of Tradermoni or Marketmoni, just to mention a few? |
pharmagba:Wike has not done half of what Amaechi did as governor. You don't know Rivers state. Go and ask a proper Port Harcourt boy. It is not about flyovers 'cos Amaechi also built flyovers. We are talking about rounded development. What do you mean by Amaechi is being used by China? Are the railways Amaechi's personal properties? Are the railroads not benefitting Nigerians? It is incorrect to say that the railways are running at a loss. How? If they aren't yielding returns as they should, why is China making more investments in the sector? It is also not true to say that there was no manifest for the Abuja-Kaduna train that was attacked. You guys should stop spreading falsehoods. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.channelstv.com/2022/03/30/abuja-kaduna-train-attack-398-passengers-bought-tickets-govt-releases-manifest/amp/%3Futm_source%3DChannelsTV%26utm_medium%3Dweb-push%26utm_campaign%3Dpush-notification&ved=2ahUKEwjS7IirjrX3AhWvi_0HHXyBDaYQFnoECAMQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3wNx7TAYx04682JmrcCxcM |
pharmagba:If you knew Rivers state, and Port Harcourt before Amaechi's emergence as Governor, you wouldn't say what you are saying. Nearly all the primary healthcare facilities and public primary schools in Rivers state were built / rehabilitated and equipped under Amaechi. Have we not always had Transportation ministers, how come it is under Amaechi that the rails are bouncing back from Lagos-Ibadan to Warri-Itakpe. Port Harcourt- Maiduguri and Ibadan-Kano are ongoing. Love him or hate him, the man has done well. As for corruption in the rail sector, can you attach your proofs or court convictions papers? |
TheRareGem1:We all know what being a Vice or Deputy is in this part of the world.... That is not enough experience to preside over a country like Nigeria. The experience is being a governor far outweighs that of a vice president, in the context of Africa. For me, even though he hasn't declared, a Fashola-Marwa or Fashola-Zulum will deliver the greatest good, in comparison with any other combo. |
Aufbauh:Lol. This one is not well o. Oga, fixing Nigeria has nothing to do with being in government. One does not need to have been a Councillor or Vice President to be able to improve the lives of people through leadership. Osinbajo isn't good enough for Nigeria. Forget the grammar! Even funds from the Tradermoni and Marketmoni Schemes he's handling are disappearing, as there isn't a waterproof structure of recovery for those funds to ensure sustenance of the program. The man is all talk. Using a teleprompter to make speeches all the time doesn't equate to being celebral. You mentioned Fashola and Amaechi. Those two are way more competent than Osinbajo. |
festacman:Na lie! Our people are often rude on social media. Little wonder, they get insulting clap backs. |
DoveXlover:Oga, it is worth it, especially with his refinery set to come upstream. |
alsudan:None of these people you mentioned will be anywhere near mainstream government after 2023. |
Mynd44:What happened to be the word 'facilitate'? If road must be constructed, the facilitator or constructor, has a responsibility of ensuring that quality work is done. So, it is Orji Kalu's responsibility to construct roads through facilitation and to see that the jobs are done properly. So, stop the unnecessary defence. |
Asgard73:We Igbos sef no send Peter Obi. List his achievements as governor.... Abeg, make him shift! |
successmatters:Exactly! His kind can never stem insecurity. He talks like a child. He wasn't even qualified to be governor or minister. Where he currently is, is his peak...he can only start declining from that point. It will dawn on him soon. |
Winters23:Peter Obi will not be Nigeria's president. He is incapable. We don't need him. He cant even secure PDP's ticket, so no one, who understands our politics, takes him seriously. In all of Obi's interactions and consultations, have you heard him mention his projects in Anambra? Not even his lean congregation of supporters are able to name his so-called accomplishments that make him competent for the Office of President. Amaechi wouldn't be so bad an idea, but Peter Obi....abeg, stop am! As for Osinbajo and Tinubu, those ones are only wasting their time. You guys should relax, there is a president coming. |
festacman:Only Fashola will get my presidential vote. That guy is what the nation needs. Thorough, progressively & positively radical, efficient, detribalized, cosmopolitan, hands-on, energetic, modest, intelligent, unreligious, realistic.. |
