Well from what I know, men are not exempted from this marry or you are not complete mentality. The only difference is that they have a little more time than women before the pressure sets in.

This is why it is rare to see a 40 year old successful bachelor that is respected. Once you reach that age range, the next thing you hear is why is he not married? Is he a ritualist? Is he impotent and can not get a woman? Something must be wrong somewhere for him to still be single at this age with all this money, etc. Let me not even go into what his mother and family members will start doing, marrying a wife for him from his village...or worse.

Even let him be married then have no children from the first wife...next thing is he is sterile...God help him his family pursues the first wife and he marries a second one who does not get pregnant....hmm mm that is the end of his life ooo. In fact. .In most cases such a man ends up committing suicide. Women are already built to withstand so much but a man's ego can not withstand the things some women have had to swallow and still survive.

They walk up to you when you are on a long queue and probably frustrated, acting as a staff of the bank, they go to those who want to deposit, ask for your teller, use a fake stamp on it, collect your cash and say you can go, your cash will be lodged in. The unsuspecting customer leaves with their teller with all confidence only to discover that no lodgement was ever made and the stamp is not the official stamp.
Some take the money and the teller, pretend that they want to help you pay in at the bulk room and slip out of the bank.

This has become rampant of recent and everyone should take note. Only pay your money across the counter or directly to the note counter if in the bulk room.

Is it just me or has power supply considerably improved since President Buhari's inauguration on May 29th? Different people living in different areas of Lagos have expressed their joy at the great improvement in their power supply where they now have 12 to 16hours of light unlike the 2 to 4hrs in the past.

Over 120 passengers escaped the grasp of death when an Aero Contractors Airline Flight 180 from Lagos to Kaduna developed technical fault mid-air on Friday, June 5.

According to reports, 20 minutes after it departed the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, the aircraft suddenly lost altitude.

This forced the aircraft to wobble continuously in the air for over an hour before it was eventually diverted to Abuja.

Director, Muslim Rights Concern, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, who was aboard, revealed that the flight took off from Lagos at exactly 6.30pm.



He said, “While the pilot was making the announcement of the flight diversion, I noticed that his voice was trembling. He told us that Abuja was 120 miles away and that we would land in 25 minutes. But we were not sure we would make it.

“The plane lost altitude 20 minutes after takeoff. We had to make use of the oxygen masks. We saw smoke outside the plane, probably coming from the engine compartment.

“At this time, the whole plane was thrown into commotion. Many passengers screamed and some fainted. Prayers upon prayers were offered. Some shouted Allah, others Jesus.”

“In fact, I quickly recited the Kalimah (the Quranic invocation of the oneness of Allah), believing that the end had come”

“As I am talking to you, I am now in a taxi taking me to Kaduna. They said they wanted to repair the plane and that we should wait so it takes us to Kaduna. Allah forbids. They asked how many of us wanted to disembark and almost everybody came out.”

And since Aero has a maintenance facility in Abuja, the flight to Kaduna was diverted to Abuja this evening to fix the problem.”

"One of our YWAM workers in the Middle East was contacted by a friend earlier this year and they met up and he was introduced to an ISIS fighter who had killed many Christians already. I mean that's a horrible situation, and admittedly, he was probably on guard," Gina Fadely, director of Youth With A Mission Frontier Missions, Inc. (YWAM), said during a recent appearance on The Voice of the Martyrs Radio Network.


YWAM, a nonprofit missionary organization active since 1960, describes itself as "a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world." The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) is another nonprofit that draws attention to Christians facing persecution around the world.


Fadely, who appeared on the VOM radio program along with Kevin Sutter, another YWAM leader, went on to share that this Islamic State jihadi confessed not only to killing Christians but "that he had actually enjoyed doing so."


"He told this YWAM leader that he had begun having dreams of this man in white who came to him and said, 'You are killing my people.' And he started to feel really sick and uneasy about what he was doing," Fadely continued. "The fighter said just before he killed one Christian, the man said, 'I know you will kill me, but I give to you my Bible.' The Christian was killed and this ISIS fighter actually took the Bible and began to read it. In another dream, Jesus asked him to follow him and he was now asking to become a follower of Christ and to be discipled."


"So who knows. Perhaps this man will be like Saul in the Bible that persecuted Christians and he turned from that persecution of the early church to become the Apostle Paul who led it," Fadely added. "God can turn it around."
