Good morning, I need some advice on what to do.
I want to study business administration in Canada but I'm worried about my study gap.
I graduated from secondary school in 2017, I was only 14 years old so I wasn't ready to go to the university.
So I just worked different jobs, as an intern in a graphic design shop, then I also taught school students.
I also did an internship for a civil engineering company but during covid I decided to start my own business so started the business and was just running it on the side but now it's fully registered with the CAC.
My parents were serious about me going to university so I wrote jamb last year and I'm currently studying biochemistry in lasu but I'm just doing it because of my parents.
I really want to study business administration cause I've really grown to enjoy running my business and all but the problem is the study gap, my waec result is from 2017.
Do I have a chance of getting admission in any university because of how old the result is?
I made good grades, A1&B2, though I have a C5 in English.
I have researched on some schools but the result thing is really discouraging me.
It's been more than 5 years since I wrote waec.
Also I'm already studying biochemistry, won't that be a problem too.
I don't think age will be a problem as I'm just 19.
I really don't know what to do, I'm considering writing Waec for private students but the results usually come out in April and admission deadline for most schools is March.
Please someone should please advise me on what to do, thank you.

I did something similar last week. Although the beans were canned (not baked beans, just canned boiled beans).

Boiled the rice 3/4 way, then added the beans and turned off the heat.

Roasted/baked fish steaks with garlic, onions, 1 scotch bonnet diced.

There seems to be a strong anti-men streak among (online) South African (young-ish) women.

We're not xenophobic, we just don't like it when illegal migrants or migrants in general come to SA and do illegal dealings.. it just happens that most of the nationalities who commit crimes in SA are either Zimbabweans or Nigerians.

I met a South African once (not generalizing, just in this anecdote) for a business transaction. After we were done discussing, he realized (or I inadvertently said) that I'm Nigerian. He then said: "Oh, I thought all nigerians were bad". Bear in mind, we were both in a 3rd country as immigrants.

As for the loans, write to each loan company to freeze the interest and work out a plan to pay back over 2 years with half the interest accrued gone.

Write even to the people you owe.

If they refuse, advise that you may have to file for bankruptcy. If you file for that, they get nothing.

Shortly after my bike was stolen, I got a loan from lapo and added with my little savings to enter palm oil business. I wish I had not done so as I ended up losing about 80k because the guy I worked with cheated me whole heartedly.

My wife had to get a job as a teacher in a private primary school. I told her it was just temporary as I was working to raise money for her start a poultry.

In order to clear the lapo loan, I had to do odd jobs and take loan from loan apps. My wife's little salary of 20k became the major source of feeding while I battled to clear the loan.

Sometimes I would borrow from friends to pay the loan app to be able to borrow a higher amount from the loan apps again. This was a mistake and a trap cos now I am so much indebted to these loan apps. I am even owing some friends and right now I am unable to pay back.

I have been in debt for over 8 months now to these loan apps. They have tarnished my Image to all my contacts.

I even stopped going to church because most of my church members who received messages from these loan apps did not even care to hear me out. They believed the loan apps that I am a fraudster on the run.

My wife started feeling ashamed of me. She stopped associating with me in public spaces. I know she has tried. Nobody deserves to pass through what she is passing through.

This afternoon when she came back from work, she told me that she would be going back to her parents house

She said that it is best she goes back to her people until I am able to sort my self out.

Guys I have tried to be strong for so long. Right now I don't think I can hold on anymore. I have always believed that things would turn out well, but right now I am in a low place. I don't know how long I can hold on again.

Last month I tried to even get a security job that pays 25k monthly. But I feel so discouraged to do the job. How long will I work to clear a loan of 320k that keeps adding interest daily.

Simple financial education and spousal egalitarianism would solve this.

I suspect that your wife, in her own way, has been helping.

First of all, let this be a lesson to everyone that both spouses should be working, unless with kids in some cases.

People should also learn not borrow from Peter to pay Paul. With the explosion of loan apps (and their evil rates), and betting, I fear for our people. Every week, I read of someone offing themselves because of a loan app. It's terrible.

Finally, there is much more to life beyond your house, your immediate community, or your wife/family members.

Do not beg to stay in a marriage. Focus on working every odd job for the enxt 2 years, living on the barest minimum, to pay off all loans.
