What’s woke in what I typed? I encourage you think more critically about things. I know many Nigerians don’t, but you can be the exception if you want to.

Hallelujah! It's RFV...

My journey from AOR to RFV is about 86days

AOR May 29
MED Aug 19
BIL Completed Aug 22
RFV Aug 23

If this is not God's grace I wonder what is?

Thanks You Jesus!!!

Let's get something straight. It's not any God's grace. You were an exception, which is okay. There are many more people possibly in other countries who were also exceptions like this. It's a good thing, an excellent thing, but don't let it get into your head. It's not any God's grace where you were specifically targeted. Those who are in for longer are just like you and it doesn't make them any worse off or any lacking of God's grace.

Family / Re: How Do Ladies Cope With Pressure Of Marriage At 35 Years? by CountVersailles(f): 11:17pm On Aug 23, 2022
A lady who makes something of herself will not lack in advances from men. My advice to my friends has always been to make something of themselves and the man will come. Go on and achieve your dreams. And even if the man doesn't come, at least you can rest in the comforting thought that you have achieved your dreams or close to achieving them. Unfortunately, the problem with many women is that they put the man before their dreams. They want to marry and then start out with their goals in life. Sorry, no high value man wants to marry a woman who isn't ambitious or who wants to cling to the man for survival.

No serious company asks you to pay any money before employing you. This is either a scam or a wretched company whose job she shouldn't even accept in the first place. Run away as fast as possible. A company that can't afford shikini 8.5k for branded shirts for its employees is not a serious company, that's if it's not scam.

You're just an idiot. You're using generalizations about others as the basis of your insinuation in a specific scenario for which you have no context at all. Isn't that the height of infantile reasoning?

So because there is a general problem of people borrowing POF, you believe that a question insinuating that this person borrowed POF (without any context about their specific situation) is a logical question? You're questioning whether someone committed immigration fraud based on their simple request for assistance? Something is surely wrong with you and it is my duty to point it out that your reasoning is subhuman.

Now that the person has explained why they're seeking for assistance, what other silly insinuation are you going to come up with?
How's that smell going in your buttcrack? I bet you can taste some of the liquid too already. Have a feast!

I'm unable to get a room from here , its always one issue or another and it has been so tedious , hence my request , please be kind enough to get my message instead of thinking everyone is an opportunist .

What happened to presenting that as your initial problem and having people here or anywhere else point out how you could successfully navigate that problem? There are multiple requests here for help with finding a room and it's a problem that can be easily solved, if you present it as such. Why do you think bunking with a stranger is the best solution to your "problem"?

You have the choice of AirBnB for a few days. You have so many rooms from Indian landlords scattered around Scarborough especially on Kijiji. You have hundreds of options if you are interested in looking. Except of course you are not telling the full story.

Some of us don't agree with you often but this one is spot on. The results are grossly exaggerated to the point that it is a plain lie.

That apart, the field of business analysis is very dynamic and can be a hit or miss. Add on top of that, that there are many variables that can impact a person getting a job. Thus, it can be dubious to claim that one specific thing was what helped a person land a role.
I'm sure by now you must know I don't really care if you agree or don't agree with me...

She does claim to have received multiple awards and recognition for her stellar works and results. Could those be made up too? I'm really interested in this exposé to help demystify a few things.

I see one of my former colleagues (at one of the consulting big 4 I worked with) as one of the "testifiers" in one of Eno's ads. i"m wondering if that is also arranged, given that she used her real name and can easily be verified. Perhaps there might be some truth in what she's selling, only that they may be grossly exaggerated.

Your (and other) thoughts are welcome
I didn't say it was all made up. I was making the point it is grossly exaggerated. Getting those awards cost nothing besides being very visible on Linkedin and encouraging a few people to fill out nomination forms for you. Go and look on her Linkedin. Most of her "success stories" are written by her herself. I haven't even researched that. If I do, I'm sure to dig up some more lies.
20,000 is too much of an exaggeration to be a lie. That's not even an exaggeration anymore, but a plain lie. And yeah, I'm not saying she hasn't helped a few people, but this is clearly fake it till you make it. And as I said, it looks like she's a little bit on the making-it side now.

And just to pick one, that thing about being a course instructor at the University of Manitoba is just a mirage. It looks like she led a course (or maybe a session) at the school's extended education program (also called continuing education in other universities in canada). And this continuing education arm of the universities are entirely separate from the university itself. Of course, many don't know that and it's a fact that can be conveniently left out. And even then, there are those who are consistent instructors at the continuing education arm of these schools. These people are usually listed on the school's website. She appears to not be, since there is no reference on the school's website or the school's continuing education arm website regarding her. Yet, she hasn't stopped including that in every single description. Again, I put it that she's selling snake oil.

Has anyone here used Eno Eka + her course to land a 6 figure job?
This is what it reads on one of her personal websites:
"Eno Eka is a business analyst and change manager based in Calgary, Alberta. She is an award-winning career coach and speaker who has been recognized for helping more than 20,000 professionals around the world kickstart their professional careers. "

20,000? Really?

You see, there have been snake oil salesmen. There really have been quite a number. In recent times though, Linkedin has helped advanced the business of the snake oil salesman even more assiduously. These days, all you need is a linkedin account, a twitter account, and maybe facebook too. Then make sure you are heavily made up so that you look very perfect. Then start shooting out those emails claiming you are a professional. Some dumb, depressed person out there is sure to reach out and seek your services. You don't need a licence also.

20,000? Like she actually helped 20,000 people to kickstart their professional careers? Every fibre in my being tells me that's a made up number. I hesistate to take a woman like this seriously, and this is not even women hating on women. That's just a plain lie.

Anyone can tell a lie in this age of technology and they have google too to help them advance that lie using SEO. This is a classic fake it till you make it. And seriously, it looks like she's already on the making-it side.

I can't even see any tool she has created or any book she has written. It looks like all glamour on the surface and then collecting money on the side.

Then, there is this fancy quote on the website:

"We’ve looked at a lot of Business Analysis Company but these guys were always the clear favorite. They have the right strategy and they’ve been awesome to work with."
Ryan Baser
BAS SCHOOL

Except, there is no google results for any Ryan Baser of a BAS School. The only place a Ryan Baser of Bas School exist on the internet is that same website, eny consulting. Accident? Nah, I think that quote and its originator are just plain made up.

Something was always suspicious to me about this lady the first time I encountered her. It was that desire to just collect your money. I'd steer clear of this person. They belong in the fake it till you make it gang.

You will advise people wrongly and make them bite their finger when they finally land. Your argument is not robust.
It's a basic rule of thumb when settling in another country for the first time, take much food stuffs with you to mitigate bills and sustainance for a while until one finds strong footing.

When I was traveling to Canada, I didn’t take as much as a grain of rice. I took zero food with me and survived fine for years. I also know people who didn’t pack one single food item and have also survived. It’s not a rule of thumb anything. Don’t mislead others. The only tenable argument for packing food is the matter of adjusting to taste, but what you probably don’t realize is that that’s just a matter of what goes on in your head as you eat. It’s imaginary. The better rule of thumb is to start reorienting your head and mind when you come to a new country, not just in terms of food but also in terms of friendships, relationships, etc. The earlier you know that, the better. Don’t insist on “living “ in an imaginary Nigeria while you are now fully in Canada. It’s not sustainable.

For a newcomer in Canada, who may not be financially buoyant as you might be, buying food here within those early days can be considered 'expensive'. Remember they are yet to start making money in dollars and what those prices amount to when converted to naira usually come as a shock.

Again, someone who have stayed in Canada for a while might have had his or her taste buds adjusted to the food here, but we cannot say the same for the newcomers.

So, if space is not an issue let the person pack as much food stuff as possible and is allowed that can take him or her for a long time before they finally integrate. Anyone who says otherwise will not be there to pay the bills for him or her when it starts.
Food is about some of the cheapest things you can buy in Canada. I know that because I've lived in many cities. Even if you don't work and are living on your POF, you don't need more than $50 to shop for food for the week and you can make enough food to last two weeks. The problem with our Nigerian brothers and sisters is that when they want to eat Indomie, they want to eat indomie from Nigeria which is available at exorbitant prices at African store. Sometimes its price is more than 5x the regular indomie you can buy at walmart. How that is any special than that regular indomie, I don't know. Same thing with chicken. Chicken o! They want to eat the chicken from African store. When will they learn that it is not sustainable to continue to subsist on the kind of food you were eating in Nigeria? If you are in Rome, you behave like the Romans.
So, why won't their money finish quickly?

The brighter point is that many of them eventually pivot to Canadian brands, but not after wasting away their money on Nigerian indomie. It typically takes them about 6-8 months or so before they start seeing it is unsustainable to be craving Nigerian indomie. For some, it takes years. Years of wasting away hard-earned dollars. And when they finally move to way cheaper chinese indomie, they see there is not even that much difference. You can replace indomie with whatever you want. But why does it have to take that late to figure things out and spend more wisely in a new environment? There is a reason the whole Canada is not shopping at African store.

let's not excuse ma.d behaviour. Survival is often dependent on how you adjust fast. Thinking you are still privileged and wanting to live the Nigerian life when you are in Canada is one of the worst things that can happen to you. There is no reason that should be encouraged.
