Family / Re: Please I Need Financial Help by CountVersailles(f): 2:32am On Apr 19, 2022
Nwamalkpe:
Hello NairaLanders please I need help,
I am not so good at writing but I will try my best to explain my situation.
Last year I invested close to $1700 in crypto hoping to use as savings I never knew it was a calamity waiting to happen. I was working then so I didn't pay much attention because i was working then, recently I lost my job and my rent expired last month and I can't renew because my supposed portfolio is less than #100,000 as we speak and my landlord has been reminding me of the rent cause I am past due, I live in ajah and my rent is #250,000. Please I need help. And I will provide every information needed to support my claim. I am willing to pay back maximum September if you can loan me, I would say soon but I can't guarantee but I know September is definite.
*
08129252469 this is my whatsapp number i can send proof there
The problem is that you WON'T pay back. That's the thing with most of you Nigerians. You will be crying now and swearing that you will pay back. Once someone helps and you become comfortable again you will forget how you felt at that time and chew your words and start playing avoidance games. Then you won't pay back and they will start chasing you up and down. No, oga, you WON'T pay back. Anybody giving you this money should just count it as lost investment.

And don't be deceieved too. People who are well-to-do in the abroad actually take care of their parents. If they have the money, they do it. You think Brad pitt's parents are suffering, or that Jeff bezos's parents are suffering?

I don't know how many times I have written this but let me try again...

The America u mentioned got a working system...
Those 70 years old men and women you saw have kids who trained themselves..

Immediately they were about to be 18 and wants to go to the university, they apply for student loan... If granted, they will use the loan to pay for their tuition fees... When they graduate, and gets a job, they will be paying for that student loan by instalment until it's done..

Their parents on the other hand will be saving their money for retirement plan.. so that they will not depend on their children when they were at the nursing home..

Now, in Nigeria, there are no student loan or grant... The parent will use the money they would have saved for their retirement to train U... By the time u are done, a lot have gone from their account...
By the time u said Jack, their retirement is here.. don't u think u as a child deserves to help them after that?

Remember, every parent owe their children basic education ie from primary School to secondary... Will it be selfish on their part to save their money for retirement while u as their kid that wanted to further your education can't do so because of lack of sponsorship?... Will it be fantastic if they just keep their money for retirement so that they won't bother you in future... While u struggle to find sponsorship....
Well said. Sometimes I don't understand why some Africans think we must adopt everything from the oyinbo people. We take some, we leave some.

Good evening nairalanders, there's a question i have been asking myself for a while now and couldn't find an answer to that.

In countries like USA, Canada, UK etc, you see 70 years old men and women still going about with their work, business or trade and sometimes when you ask them, it's either they tell you that they haven't save much for retirement or they say they aren't thinking of retiring until they reach like 90 years but here in African countries, the reverse is the case. Why do you think African parents see their children as a source of livelihood during old age?

Oga, different cultures, different behaviour. That they do it in the abroad does not mean we should do it. Many Africans can actually take care of their parents and themselves without any issues. And some parents are also not leeches. They know when and not when to ask. Go and look around in the animal kingdom where we all come from as humans. Some children of these animals take care of the parents in old age.

We have to remind ourselves that rape has been weaponized or is being weaponized by women, who see themselves as the weaker sex in a battle of the sexes. Sadly, some men must bear the brunt.

The reason why to went to school is to have the ability to understand things as simple as they are. I challenge anyone on this forum. I give you from now till the last day of this month. Post a news article of rape case involving a Nigerian woman as the culprit and I will empty my bank account for you

All of you claim Nigerian women also rape and yet none of you has ever posted a picture or video evidence here.

Check out sapphiere profile. 90% of the threads there are Nigerian men raping women and their fellow men with pictures and videos proofs.

This clearly wasn't rape. If it was rape, we wouldn't have heard the end of it. The stupid girl was a willful participant. Note the word wilful. The boys too were very stupid to have engaged in this. The school took the right action, but they should have reported to the authorities. That was a big mistake. Again, stupid school. Craze world we living in. 10 years old o

You can see him reading the holy bible

He's a proud Blackman as well, I remember him going to his ancestral homeland keyna as senator and president.
You are so naive to be trusting a politician. Obama is a politician through and through, and he will do what makes he look good in the eyes of the electorate. Obama never said it in public, but he is an atheist. In case you don't know. Americans will never vote an atheist into office, that's why Obama kept quiet about his belief. Dude is a big-time atheist. You can see it in his speeches. He is a decent man sha.

How does it matter how he found her? You are leaving out the part where she might have even pretended just to get into the marriage. Why does it matter then how he found her or what investigations he did?

What is the Job of Nigeria consulate office at Dar-es-Salaam... Godsfrey Onyeama budgets tens of billions of Naira every fvcking year and Nigerians abroad get treated like shit without proper representation

Try this with an American citizen especially American women, and she would call the embassy staffs to meet her at the police station with a lawyer

.
Nigerian embassy is useless. Very useless. You will send 1000 emails to them and they'll never reply one of it. You will try to call their phones and either they never pick or it doesn't connect. Again very useless.
