teejah03:What's your level of qualification? |
Titugirl:For starters, I would suggest you get comfortable addressing family members or friends first, then try speaking in front of a small group of strangers. When you feel you've mustered enough courage, you can then move onto larger audiences. Also try to be very prepared. Preparation is key to controlling your fear. If you know your material inside and out, and you're ready to answer audience questions, you’re well on your way to giving a good speech absence fear and shyness. Good luck. |
I believe the whole Almajiri school issue by the government, is a hoax. If you disagree, then explain why a government would claim to build schools for the poor, then fail to provide the addresses of those schools. I just did a google search on their addresses, and guess what...their addresses weren't given in all the articles I checked online. Our junk media praised the government for the establishment of those schools, but failed to provide valid addresses of where the schools are located, so people can confirm their exact location. I stand to be corrected though. |

Lol walkman I missed the good old days. |
rittyben:There is no shame in being a single parent. So focus on the fact that you are lucky to have been blessed with a child. Surround yourself with people who can support you and help boost your confidence. If you spend your whole live your life thinking about the negative things people are saying about you, believe me, you'll end up worse than a psychiatric patient. |
I would advice that you go for PGD, then do a thesis based master degree and afterwards register for PhD...you may be considered. Also do lots of publications, academic publications/researches as it gives you points. Good luck. |
roselineomo:If you've made up your mind to become a full time nurse, then I would suggest you switch. However if you're still yet to make up your mind on your career path, then I would advise that you go for HND. Good luck. |
husseinjnr:Kindly read his post again. He said Nigeria not Germany. And secondly, regardless of how cheap the program is in germany, majority of Nigerias lack the finance needed to make such trip. |
All is see is a poor owl seeking refuge in a lady's office. Why kill the poor bird over nothing? |
Tell her to stay away from social media for a while (that's if she's addicted to social media) and devout that time to her books. Now to your question...reading if you must know is all about your mind set and your determination...if you're not determined, even if you spend the whole day going through your books, it would look like greek and latin to you despite your efforts. You'll keep asking yourself why isn't all this stuff getting into my head? The simple answer is that you've allowed distraction creep into your mind thereby causing your mind to shift its attention from an uninteresting task (your book) to something much more interesting (friends gist, social media alerts, movies...etc) when this happens, you'll encounter great difficulty in trying to recollect topics you've covered in the course of your reading. Meaning if someone should ask you any question on a topic you've covered, you'll find it difficult giving him/her a convincing reply. This is the beginning of failure, and this is the major reason why we keep recording massive failures in WAEC, NECO, JAMB and the likes. For starters, tell her to create a to-do-list, that list should contain all her activities of the day (including her chores) along with their estimated time frame. She should include reading, interacting with intelligent friends, who can help her academically, going to the internet and reading topics in line with her field...etc. I strongly believe that if she keeps up with that list, and spends the time she allocated for her books reading and browsing through topics on the internet, believe me, with time she would get used to that lifestyle. And her bad grades would be a thing of the past. Good luck. |
Mine is 21st march. |
rokiatu:Heard she went awol... 3RNEST:Niceuzor...I remember that username...truly I missed the good old days. Even michelin89, radiant, jaybaby...they just disappeared; I really liked those chicks back then. |
barristerMDGs:They only acted on an incident (the chibok girls kidnap) that took place as a result of the nonchalant attitude of this present government. Its no foresight cos all the characters are known actors not officials of the American government. |
barristerMDGs:French, british, holland and most misguided muslims all over the world (Nigeria inclusive) left the comfort of their homes and flew to syria to fight for ISIS. Our fear is that if boko haram has joined this dreaded group, misguided muslims from Neighbouring African countries and even foreigners are likely to join in the fighting, their sponsors would increase, and it would take the help of international aid to defeat them because they would overwhelm our troops. Jonathan has to wipe out these monsters before things get out of hand. |
May the best team win |
Good write up |
Sheddy45:That means she doesn't trust her husband, and she hardly even know him. Cos if she does, she wouldn't make such statement. She would know the kind of things he's capable of. |
victorazy:Fool...who is talking about obj, did you even bother to read my post at all before hitting the quote button? Don't ever quote me if you don't have any sensible comment to make. Try it again and all your generation shall die of leprosy. |
dandutse01:Isn't democracy supposed to be 4 years for a single term and 8 years for 2 tenures. So if her husband respects the constitution of the country as she claims, why on earth will he want to remain in office after 8 years? Its obvious that she hardly even listen to what she says in public. |
seancharles:Human needs are boundless or limitless, meaning there will always be a high demand for certain commodities. My advice to you is that you shouldn't venture into a business because you think it is lucrative or your friend told you so, rather look out for human needs to be satisfied in wherever you're residing, and provide a product to satisfy the identified need. Business is a game, your innovation and strategy determines your success. Good luck. |
These are not yams...they look more like idols. |
Following. |
MizMyColi:Send this link to him. https://ngcareers.com/category/human-resources-jobs Note: They are random postings, so I have very little idea on their salary structure. But considering his years of experience on that field (Human resource) I'm sure that if he gives it a try, he's likely to have a positive result. Good luck. |
Caracta:Its ok...I know you're a very busy person. You can reply them when you're less busy. Do have a great day ahead. |
First I must commend you on your zeal for knowledge. Now to your question...Anybody can enroll for any professional course in his field, but it takes proper exposure and intensive dedication to your books to pass and become certified. Take ICAN for instance, would I advise a 100level student to sit for it? No of course. Why? Cos he isn't properly grounded in his field. Therefore siting for such would be a mere waste of money cos he's most likely to fail woefully. I would advise you to concentrate more on your grades for now. As a 100level student, that should be your priority. During your NYSC, you can take a professional course. Good luck. |
derrick015:Alright then...good luck. |
derrick015:21? That's great. How about sponsorship...are your parents willing to sponsor you? |
I can't really remember but I stumbled on it while checking for something on google years back, and ever since then, I've been quite active. |
