No no no. He bought that car not to surprise but spite me! Why would he have to go all length to prove a point? Meaning he still harbours the pain of the past.
R u very sure its a spite? If this is the route ur relationship is taking, then u need to have a tête-a-tête wit him.
Romance › Re: Is This Enough Reason To Breakup With My Boo? by Creamish(f): 7:22pm On Jan 03, 2016
Are u guys married?

D'u have a joint account?

If "NO"..then I see no reason why u should be pissed that he Dint tell u about his savings...esp since u once broke up wit him due to his financial status (or at least datz what he believes).

Secondly, he Dint call u on New year's day...did u call him? No. Wat if he had some issues? Ur being selfish IMO...

Nwayz... U need to calm d Fk down and think things thru only when calm. If u have nagging doubts, then address it with him. Communication is key in every relationship. Assumptions are relationship killers.

nmreports:
Morally and spiritually/ religiously she is meant to keep the pregnancy.
The pregnancy is all part of the results of her actions and that of the guy so she has to live with it.

On the other hand, keeping the pregnancy may see her life flashing before her own eyes if she is not strong willed like Genevieve. As per marriage, Genevieve is not even married.

If she also aborts, perhaps that would be her last chance at getting pregnant.

So the ball is in her court... Make a choice and bear the consequences.

I'm not about to have an "end-of-year" headache over who's being truthful or who's lying. At the end of the day, let the guilty party be shamed.

He sounded like the husband with that statement. Long time no see grin.
This woman is lucky that her husband volunteered to bell the cat. The average Nigerian man sees family planning as a woman's problem, e no concern them.
Hard to find emotional men...very rare..

Long time no see too.. Compliments! wink
Family › Re: The Reason why wives feel reluctant to host their inlaws by Creamish(f):
cococandy:
Why not just open up and tell her what you expect of her instead of dragging issues with her? She probably feels like a guest and not very free to do as she would in her own family home. Besides she's only 18. Shouldn't you be more mature?

Imagine how you'd feel if your husband exhibits this kind of non-tolerant attitude towards your own relatives. Remember the house belongs to both of you, not you alone. So you can't be 'only my relatives' about it.

I just noticed you're already biased towards the girl even before she came. If not, you won't have problems with your DH going to pick her up from their home. If that's more convenient, why not?

Yes I know pregnant women tend to get tired easily. Still you have to try and be a good hostess. When you're just too tired, tell them you're and let them know how to go about fixing themselves up instead of exhibiting anger towards your guest.
I'm with Cococandy on this.

U need to relax. There are way too many things to worry about and adding ur 18yr old guest to it is just plain folly. Maybe she wasn't hungry when she decided to go to bed without dinner. Don't fuss about lil things. Don't overwork yourself too. When U are tired, sit your ass down and have a good rest.

You will see in the future that you actually need your inlaws to be on your side. This is just your first year in marriage. RELAX babe. Talk to her without animosity. You may be surprised to know in future that this "18yr old" might be the best inlaw you will ever have.

Lastly, the last impression you would want your hubby to have of you is one which says "I HATE YOUR FAMILY". Avoid it. Talk to him whenever you feel threatened or you feel uncomfortable but please... when you talk, don't ever make him feel like you hate his family....EVER!

Cheers!

You said he is afraid something would happen to the wife, then went on to wow that she is alive and hearty, even called it a "miracle", pregnancy and childbirth itself is a miracle. I asked and I am still asking "how many people do you know that CS killed?

You need the understanding more dear. CS isn't a death sentence, so stop wowing... maybe you should have typed this comment of yours first. I can imagine the husband coming to you for advice, then you shout "wow, and she is still alive and hearty?" wtf'
LOLz @bolde.d!

Maternal mortality happens with any form of delivery. It's only by the grace of God that one comes out alive. There is no "WOW" moment when CS is done 3 times biko.

@OP.. Advise your friend's husband to go for some counselling. What he suffers from is an anxiety based on ignorance. There are family planning techniques that are sure to work. Please go to a certified hospital/clinic for proper counselling.

Career › Re: When People Are Sacked From Their Jobs, Do They Get Paid? by Creamish(f): 1:38pm On Dec 29, 2015
It depends on the company's HR policy as well as the reason for the SACK. Any fraud-related sack might not allow for any payment. But in some lay-off cases in banks, the ex-staff get paid off.

Although I agree with some of your logic, I find a few things in this post to somewhat misleading.

First of all, there are true prophets and men of God out there. The problem is that there are also fakes and one needs to ask God for the spirit of discernment to know the real from the fake.

Secondly, it is possible for a man of God to speak the mind of God towards an individual through the power of the Spirit - especially in marriage. We should however, NOT rely on hearing from God through others but hearing from God ourselves and asking Him to use others to confirm His word to us.

God knows who He wants us to get married to, His perfect will for us. We cannot just 'choose' but rely on God to bring that person to us and reveal His will to us. There is this misconception that we can 'marry any one we want' and that's wrong.

Marrying the wrong person can cripple a person's destiny!

TRUE.

I'v had a "man of God" approach me with a bible saying "The Spirit revealed to him that I am his wife"... I just walked on by... had nuttn to say to him that wasn't going to be offensive.

God has blessed us with instincts. How much attention we pay to them determines how much of a success we might be. When u date someone and Uv got some doubts, always explore those doubts. Don't let "blind love" make U sweep dem under the carpet. They will be temporary residents of the carpet and the day they resurface, it would be hell.

Some Pastors are indeed gifted. When U get a prophecy, pray and fast so God can reveal which is true and which isn't.
