Did you pay to the hotel direct?? How did you do it?

you can’t pay direct, you can only pay through Airbnb, and they are mostly not hotels...people give out their accommodation for rent...something like that, and Airbnb is the host. All transactions must pass through them.

This is what I normally do, make my reservation on Booking.com, after doing that I will add the hotel number on whatsapp then chat them up to make a reservation for me with my details on their letterhead, and forward to my mail. But remember to tell them the Embassy don’t accept third party booking...

I was at VFS Lagos today for submission and i didn’t spend up to 2hrs to submit my application. I met few peeps there too, but the process was fast.

Hello NL.. My bank jst called me yesterday asking if I summited my statement of account to any embassy.. I said yes nd they asked me which embassy and I said its south African embassy.. They jst hang the call..
Meanwhile I applied for a tourist visa since 28 of june and up till this moment I hv neva heard anything from the embassy.
Pls does it mean the embassy is attending to my application by demanding if am the true owner of the account.. Pls I need advice because I want to apply for withdrawal of my passport.

LOL. The last time i checked, september was 7days ago. His visa will most likely have 3months validity with a condition of how many days max he can use on each visit. As for hotel, you can use hotel.com. Filter by "No prepayment and free cancellation."

I heard they don’t accept those reservations from hotels.com and the likes. They want reservations from the hotels directly.

It would be specified on your visa a date which you should travel on or before and maximum duration of stay there.

It's an expense paid trip for a 4-day conference.
Though I still had to submit my bank statement.

I'm an undergraduate, so you can guess the range of my bank balance. Lol.

Someone said VFs is working but the embassy is yet to resume . My passport was forwarded to SA embassy and I don't want to move down to Lagos and encounter any form of delay from the embassy

Stay away from South Africa. Please do. Dont listen to these confused souls here saying other wise. There is too much psychological trauma to deal with as a Nigerian in South Africa. Those people are broken souls, mean and so mentally backward.

Any Nigerian saying otherwise here, is obviously one of the few that have accepted to eat from the scrubs of the table. Those type of people that has never been to any other civilized country and find SA as some rare opportunity in their life.

Do you know how many Nigerians are returning back willingly. A word is enough for the wise.

I has happened to me.

Its not your thermostat, it is you coolant temperature sensor 2. Yes there are 2 of them but the 2 controls the fan. It is located at the bottom left of your radiator.

You have 3 options,
1. Replace the sensor
2. Bridge the connector (Fan will run with IGN II ON)
3. Constantly drive with AC on

How did you know that the vehicle was overheating?
What was the temperature the fans worked without the AC on?

the temperature kept rising above where The needle would normally stop.

Something made the fuse to cut.. Find that & your problem will be resolved..
Did you replace your fan motor recent? Or maybe drove inside water

Do you have a check engine light on? If yes.. Please scan & post the code here..

Is the temperature gauge on your guage cluster working? Asin does it get to red when the car starts overheating?

1. I didn’t replace my fan motor, didn’t drive inside any deep pool of water or can’t remember if I did before the issue started (what could be the implication if I did)
2. No check Engine light.
3. The temperature gauge is working fine.
