Any profession deserves reasonable compensation, so I dont blame NARD for demanding what should be their right, I only condemn their approach.

The approach might not be right but these people go for what will work in their favour, how to get the govt to listen so I don't blame them much.

Do you have relative that work for years diligently, retired with nothing and their entitlement are not paid. If those in authority value Nigerians and life, they should do the needful. so channel your anger to the right place and not towards the victim. Even the Bible is against owing workers their wages.

don't go there, he cancelled sales of the refineries because he had the mind of making them to work for Nigerians. What has come out of govt properties that have been privatise? That guy had good intentions but it was unfortunate he died too soon.
same with PMB, he had good intentions but unfortunately everything was sabotaged and his administration is today one of the worst.

I'm more patriotic than you are, I believe so much in Nigeria but truth be told, what you get while in service is what you have so, they should secure themselves. If those in Govt did or are doing the right thing, will NARD take this "IRRESPONSIBLE" action?

I'm happy you said NARD demand is not unreasonable. I don't really blame them, most of these bodies believe they have to use everything within their reach to get what they want. That's the approach they all use.
Before now I use to say Nigerian should sacrifice so that Government will have money to do other things but the truth is, No need, They will rather launder the money rather than use it for any meaningful project.

They are fighting for themselves, who then fight for the citizens??

Hi everyone, please i would love to know how much it will cost me to relocate to Abuja, specifically the cost of rent and transportation, preferably in Jabi or in anyother place there.

Jabi is expensive unless in places like Jahi. in jahi, you can get a good place for 250 to 400k (1 room). You can also get affordable houses in close by areas like lugbe, abacha road (Mararaba), karu and other close by towns.
For transportation, it depend if your work require you staying in one place or moving round. If its just to go to office and back home, then you might not have issue but if you have to move round often, then its capital intensive. You will need to be talking drops or do uber/bolt. the cheapest drop or distance in abuja is 300h unless on few occasions you can enter taxi (along) for 100H.
