PrimadonnaO:
His elder brother and his wife are both AS, too... they pulled it off with two children. But they aren't in Nigeria.

We tried to work things out for a couple of months, then COVID-19 caused a lot of twists, and I bailed out. I just couldn't stop thinking that I was walking into fire with my two eyes open.
If you guys love each other enough, trust me, it would have worked. you probably don't love him enough or maybe you're not really into him.
My friends younger bro and his wife are in Nigeria, I believe medically there is a way.

All the best sha, I hope you will find a better man that will be trustworthy and that will love you unconditionally

Did you guys seek medical advise? I was told it could be managed, my friends younger brother and his wife are both AS I guess and they're doing well, I don't think any of the kids is SS

sending DM is actually not a bad thing, some people have made good friends here, its unfortunate that some people have a negative orientation and some ladies feels sending them DM means you want sex(shallow thinking).

Ndi Ada are mostly very responsible.
They are specially raised with a strong sense of obligation...especially toward their siblings.
They hardly look to others to carry their responsibility, instead they'll carry theirs and yours as well.
Their siblings are able to rely on them and they hardly disappoint. They're like sisters and mothers at the same time.
you're right. That's why in some part of Igbo land, you pay more for Them

FamilyRe: Why Is It That Some Married Couples Hardly Wear Their Rings Nowadays? by culf: 11:08am On Mar 27, 2021
JaneYave:
We get stuck to ourselves and the heart knows where it belongs, every other thing becomes secondary. Another point is weight gain, if the finger becomes fatter, the ring becomes tight on it.
thank you

jaelz:
So I was hosting an uncle if mine and we were discussing about why he wasn't wearing his ring, to my utmost surprise he said he wears his ring any day his wife wears here. I was shocked though but my mind drifted back to me so many of my friends and relations who also do not wear their rings again even despite being married. Back in the days I know you only take off your ring when you want to flirt abi play away matches, but these days it's almost asif the take off their wedding rings immediately after those church weddings. So my question is why?

Cc: lalasticlala, seun, onila, farano, prettythicksme, mynd44
I wore mine until I mistakenly flushed it recently. Will buy another one soon and will wear it with pride.

I love this girl.
She told me she is an "Ada".
I understand that to mean that she is the first born daughter of her village (Somewhere in Abia state).

She is very beautfiful, hard working and industrious.
If I marry her, what specifically am I to expect in terms of "first daughter" from her village people?
expect responsibility. Be responsible not just financially.

Never tried it even when I had the house keys.

Kinda feels uncourteous. Best I'll do is be on my way, then leave a message that I'm coming.
A man that gives you his spare key may not be a saint but he is sure a good, trustworthy partner.

.yeah I get, breastmilk and formula cannot be compared. Just that some men begin to overreact as if it is the wife's fault that breastmilk is not flowing. Some men become so aggressive you would think they want to use the milk to drink tea
you're very funny. That will be wrong sha though it can be frustrating but its not the wife's fault.
we suffered ooo, before my wife's breastmilk starts flowing, there is nothing we didn't do, from palm kernel to hot water, from tom brown to palm wine, drugs to massaging, there is nothing we didn't do or apply. I never blamed her, we were in it together, I know its not her fault. I heard it's also very common with ladies that gave both through CS.
So taking the frustration on the woman is totally wrong.

#meanwhile the milk is more important to us thank to
drink tea

McSquishi:
Well from the perspective of women in the West, African men are conservative. Maybe in comparison to your female counterparts you’re not. But from my experience in African/Nigerian groups like this one whenever an African woman expresses herself at all sexually or even dresses somewhat sexy she is shamed by the males in the society. Men might be more adventurous than the women they marry but only because the women have learned to repress their sexual desires... I’m guessing.

You’re right though, it’s a terrible marriage if you can’t tell your partner what you like in bed. but communicating is one of the most difficult things to get right in relationships, and communicating about sex can be even harder.
if women from the west see African men as conservative, then they are wrong. African men are adventurous, versatile though a few are rigid and may have ego issues but they are usually wild.

The narrative have changed a lot, a lot of women now expresses themselves and some guys like me like women who expresses themselves and go for what they want. most African men love women that can express themselves sexually and to be honest, if a lot of our women will do that, some cheating incidences will not happen. Dressing shouldn't have anything to do with one expressing her sexuality or demanding her right. I have heard a lot about northern Muslim ladies not wearing anything under their gown and some being wild and adventurous and active during sex with their partner which is the way it ought to be.

you're right, communication is key alongside other things like compromise and sacrifices. In marriages these days, communication is going down instead of increasing. Again, sometimes it's because of unyielding partner. when a partner is always turning def ear, some will stop and will begin to find alternative elsewhere though its wrong

thekichinboss:
Yeah true. Breastfeeding milk is important but it's not cast in stone if for any reason the mother can't breastfeed. And yes the child will still be smart and intelligent, it's not about breastmilk.

Although breastmilk is very essential especially in building the immunity of the child.
yeah, the child will be smart and intelligent but you can't compare breastmilk to formulas. the immunity, the attachment, the nutrients, water, etc all in one. My boy suck for over a year ooooo.

thekichinboss:
True oooo, even the thought of it sef is weird
it may sound weird but its true. we are all build differently, The one I read us the lady herself that was asking if it's Normal that she usually have orgasm when her baby suck.

Some ladies lips are so sensitive that they can have orgasm from kissing talk more of breast just that the person involve here is her child.
FamilyRe: Is There A Boundary To Sexual Practices In Marriages? by culf: 7:35pm On Mar 26, 2021
McSquishi:
Hmm, maybe that’s because of the conservative culture, right?!!. Women are shamed for liking sex too much and if she starts asking her husband to do all these acrobatic and new things she’s probably afraid he’d judge her?

Maybe they don’t ask because sex with the husbands isn’t enjoyablehuh

I guess that because African men are usually conservative lovers in comparison to their counterparts in the Western world.... and many don’t really understand the female body or that sex is meant to be enjoyed by women as well. When someone doesn’t know how to please you or isn’t concerned with pleasing you it can make sex an unpleasant experience.
probably culture or maybe their orientation. It may also be because a lot of ladies marry men far older than then, whatever the reason is, its bad. Why should a woman be afraid of her husband judging her, it doesn't make sense.

you may be right, they might not ask because sex with the partner is not enjoyable and the partner is rigid not willing to find ways to give her pleasure.

African men are far from being conservative. True is, most of these things they don't do with wives at home, they do them outside. African men are far more adventurous than the women.
