As per the money you recieve from ur late grandma's property, there is a question in the form that asks about savings from properties and rent, fill how much it comes to on a monthly basis and then explain in the additional information that u recieve money from your late grandma's property. Also put photocopies of the property documents and your grandma's death certificate as well as pictures you have with her. It worked for me. A letter from the lawyer would also suffice. About the business registration, i believe even if you register it now, it will still be too young to use for ur visa application. So,u can register it now, but not for the purpose of this application. If u dont ve pictures, u can use other supporting documents like the lawyer's letter quoting how much is paid monthly, the property documents, etc |

for my husband to come to the UK I bought Royal Air Maroc, stop in Casablanca (2hr stop) a one way cost about £320 booked it Mon 8th Feb for travel on Saturday 13th Feb, so very close to departure date, also out of season.
It all depends when you book it, eg we are now in peak season for flights Hello, i saw on Royal Air Maroc website that the baggage allowance is just one 23kg bag. Is that really the case or the website is misleading? |

I and my husband have a joint account as well as as joint fixed deposit investment which will mature before the travel date and which will be the source of fund for our trip. How am I supposed to answer these questions? A. What is the cost to you personally of this trip? B. the total amount of money you have for this trip C. Is someone other than you paying for this trip? D. How much will they be paying towards your trip?
Am I supposed to write the same figures in I and my husband's forms? Or, will I split the total money into 2 and enter the figures in the forms?
Pls help me torchlight the matter or refer me to any one/post that has been in/addressed similar situation Thanks Glory to God.! My husband and I got our passports with visas back today. We submitted at VI on the 4th of July, passport received at Sheffield on 9th of July, Decision made email on 18th July and passport ready for collection email on 20th July. For the benefits of couples that run a joint account, when filling the part where you are asked about the budget for the trip, fill the budget for each person in Dre forms. Then when asked if anyone is paying for part of the trip, put yes and write the name of ur spouse and explain that u are using your joint account to fund the trip. Please I will like to know if in the visa form, someone can put a mobile number as the contact details of employer who will be sponsoring a business trip. This is because if the land line is used, the company representative may not be in the office to receive the call when the ECO makes calls to the company. Is there anyone there in a similar situation who used mobile contact & was successful? Yes, there is a colomn where you fill the contact address and phone number of your employer |

I am sorry I am not able to go back and read from page 1. If someone here can answer my questions I will appreciate. Thanks. The fee is paid online with a debit/credit card after you must have filled your application form and submitted. abbey1986: OK but I can still explain by making a new application and I forgot my marriage certificate at home and it wasn't there so. What's your advice I feel the problem is from the closing balance of the account statement you submitted. mzjennypher: Good day House, i intend to apply for uk visa by august and my profile below: female single works with a financial institution earns N178k monthly but paid twice into two seperate accounts one of the account has a balance of 800k now. Kindly advice. wld i present the two acct statement as the other acct doesnt have much(less than 5k) More so, with my profile what shld be my budget as i intend staying in an hotel and the trip is for 10 days. Pls note i have no travel history. thank you. Yes, you should present the 2 accounts to show evidence of your monthly income. Check online for fees charged by hotels and you can calculate how much 10 days will be. Also, check online for flight ticket amounts and you can build your budget from that. |

@fakmurphy, why do u have different figures quoted for the cost to you personally for the trip and the total amount of money you have for the trip. I think they should only be different if somebody other than you is paying for part of the trip and the difference would now be the amount the person is giving you. |

OGreene: askari01, longest time bro You know that budget part is always tricky. Someone mentioned they dont ask for account balance again.
So what can she do now...do another budget on a white paper? or work with what she has submitted, and do the addition right, 785+500= 1285. this brings it closer to 1520 I think she should write another budget on a white paper as additional information and state that the other budget be disregarded. She should also correct the places she wishes to visit part and include other interesting places aside her friend's house. A budget of 1000GBP is enough for her @Nobleman247, u got everything right about your application and budget. The only thing i fear about that application is you salary. As regards the land paper, you can use the agreement and survey plan as ur evidence. |

mzjennypher: Hello house, pls for uk application i do not understand what they mean by "what is the cost of the trip to you.' and another question is what is the total cost of the trip which i understand. pls assist. thank you. If you are being fully sponsored by somebody, the cost of the trip to you will be 0(zero), but if you are your own sponsor, the cost of the trip to you will be your total budget(flight, accommodation, living expenses, shopping). If somebody is paying for ur flight and accommodation and the thing you will be paying for is ur shopping, the cost of the trip to you will be the amount you have fo your shopping. So basically, the cot of the trip to you is any amount you personally have for the trip. The total cost of the tip is the otal budget you have in mind for the trip |

Mum got her visa this morning without any input from an agent. Thanks to everyone who posted on this thread.
Her interview was for 8:30am @ the Lagos Consulate and it went thus:
VO: Good morning Mum: Morning o
VO:**speaks somethings 2 her** Mum: i no 'hear' English
VO calls for an interpreter, an elderly lady comes in
Lady:Where are u going ma? Mum:California
Lady:what for? Mum: Summer, my daughter's husband sent 4 me.
Lady: who's paying? Mum: My son-in-law
VO smiles and passes white paper 2 her and dat was it.
Mum: Can i have my passport back? VO and interpreter both laughs and interpreter explains to her dat d visa would be issued on d passport.
BUT while i was filing her DS160, i couldn't upload her passport photograph, so i told her to go with it.
She put a copy in her passport but it was returned to her.
Can her visa be issued without her passport photograph? She's worried now. Hello, i ll like to know if your mum got her passport back after 3 days like they always say. |

My wife just delivered in the US. Our son and I are planning to visit her anytime soon and the whole family intends to come back to Nigeria together. Visa interview already scheduled. Since there seems to be that understanding that documents are not really checked during the interview.
(1) How do I prove that my wife is in the US with our baby?
(2) In case I am requested to present docs, what would you suggest I take with me?
Thanks a lot. Congratulations. Take a copy of your wife's data page/visa page and also a copy of her medical bill payment receipt together with your own documents and account statement |
