Barely 1 year on the throne, and he is already acting as the prima donna, and the no 1 Emir in Nigeria, completely usurping the importance of the Sultan of Sokoto.

MemeTroll:I thought just 2 weeks ago, the Buhari pardoned and restored all those who were court-martialled during GEJ's time for cowardice and disserting the battle front. Why is this one General being singled out for punishment ![]() |

tolexy007:That means there were several beds that cost about N1.5m each !!!! But N1.5 for one bed is still too much for one of the poorest states like Ekiti.!!! Haba ![]() You purchase a complete set of 2+3+ 2 single seater imported Italian settee plus an 8 chair dining set for that amount. Go to Bedmate and check the price. I respect ex-Gov Fayemi, and I believe he was a prudent man. But allowing for these kind of costs for procured government furniture is too much. Can't all these government officials do their work without using pricy cars, pricy furniture, pricey hotels, etc. Haba!! Our leaders are just sucking us dry and killing us in this country. |
flexxyworld:Lies.... You need some coaching lessons from Lai Mohammed Amateur photoshop. $90billion is more than all the money Nigeria earned under OBJ & GEJ govt combined |

Stuff like this shows how really backward and primitive Nigeria is. This specie might be the last one. And it has just been wiped out with shouts of "hallelujah"! There are many specie of this so-called monitor lizard or iguana. We are destroying our wildlife heritage due to fear and primitive need to fill our stomach. Just this week people killed a crocodile, and most NL'er did not even know the proper name for it. Some called it big "lizard" Our children will learn about their extinct wildlife only via oral stories by their parent's if they were ever fortunate to see any, or via encyclopaedia or Google. Our backwardness is getting worse every day. Sad ![]() |
obailala:Underutilisation of Ph, Warri, Onitsha, Koko and Calabar ports preceded militancy in Niger Delta. Calabar port was a classic example. Underutilisation started since Shagari email during 2nd Republic when NPA refused to dredge the approach to the port even when money is voted money annually for it. They simply chopped the money. Second matter that killed Calabar port was bad Road linking Calabar to the North and the Eastern heartland. Importers suffered huge loses due to falling trailers and stuck trailers, so they stopped patronising the port. |
biafranqueen:I tire for dis Buhari ooooo. The man just dey fall my hand |
ionsman:Ok |
This road has claimed many souls due mainly to wrong design : 1. Building roundabouts on an Expressway rather than fly over bridges at major junctions and interchanges. 2. There are only 4 foot bridges on the 12km stretch for pedestrians who want to cross the Expressway. That translates to an average of distance of 4km between them. So if want to cross the road and you are somewhere in between, be read to trek for 2 to 3km just to cross. Needless to say, many people get knocked down by fast moving vehicles. Every day is like running the gauntlet. Over N200billion has been expended on this road via the largely corrupt concession arrangement with LCC which directly funnelled money into Tinubu's pockets because Tinubu's company HITECH is the contractor. Despite the huge money they are making on the road via toll the road has not gone beyond Ajah roundabout. Endless hold up has become unbearable. |
ionsman:How do you mean "she ha been grabbed,"? |
adetola007:Oga first class. Generally your advice is OK. However, your grammar and punctuations are a bit below grade. Where did you graduate from? 1. It is wrong grammar to say "my experiences". Just say "my experience" 2. The second word "architecture" should have been "fine art". And it should be followed by the word "either" |
MadCow1:I beg you in the name of whatever deity you believe in, don't bring religion into this. And certainly, please no blasphemy. This BH bombings is a very serious matter. Lives are involved here, not only lives of the bomb blast victims, but also those of our gallant troops. |
The #9 guy on the list, Lai Mohammed performed wonders during the campaigns. He could change daytime to night, change lie to truth, and vice versa. There is practically no verbal miracle, he could not perform. But now he seriously needs your help. He is trying to choose a ministerial portfolio, but cannot seem to make up his mind ![]() Please help him out. See the names of the 21 nominees read by Saraki during plenary on Tuesday below: 1. Rotimi Amaechi |
LIST OF MINISTERS FINALLY READ TODAY, 6th October 2015!!!! HIP! HIP!! HIP!!! HURRAY!!!!! So indeed, Mr President really did not keep his promise, of September, 2015. As of today, even though we now have the list, we are not sure they will all be confirmed by the National Assembly. The nation still has some more time to wait ........ |

Buhari boning Saraki seriously at previous outing during Jumat prayer
|
The long awaited list of ministers that has practically driven Nigerians up the wall is finally (or, is it officially?) out. Nobody as of yet knows the portfolio Mr President will assign to them. That one is the next subject of intense speculation that will give everyone, including the nominees high blood pressure. Fortunately, we are sure of at least one portfolio - Petroleum Ministry that Mr President has assigned to himself. Question is: Should President Buhari appear before Senator Saraki's senate to be screened? Some idle tatafos are insinuating, that eventuality is why the Presido was all smiles with Saraki during the 1st Oct parade at Aso Rock, as opposed to his previous stony face during earlier official outings where he studiously ignored Saraki. Personally, I don't think Presido should not be screened. If he is good enough to be president, he certainly should be good for a mere "noise-making" Ministerial slot. "He should just take a bow and go". ![]() What do you think?
|
Power and Works. Just combine the 2 for him. he is more than equal to the task. At least without Tinubu on his neck, he can do wonders. |
Cabinet Monitor, to write names of all other Noise Makers in the cabinet. ![]() Just joking.... I think he will do well as Education Minister. He proved it clearly in Rivers State. Give that to him. He did very well. The legacy is there for all to see. Probably Minister of Works as well. He did well on roads, until politics distracted him. Only blight is that ill-conceived mono-rail |
Very funny ![]() My broad ask dem oooo! You just have to cram or remember them. There is no logic or science behind it. |
wytecat:Choi!!! Abokii grammar don break my ear drum. Very typical of Boko Haram or cattle rearer. You cannot disagree with them, engage them in a rigorous debate. Their first and natural instinct Blood thirsty fiends! Seems you don't have a job. I have one for you. But first you must pass an aptitude test. No quota system here. Here it goes: Write: "I AM A HE-GOAT ABOKII" 100 times and send it to me. Once I receive it, I will post it here in NL, and then the job is yours. The Job?? Wait for it .......... Off course, Mai Guard na . What did you expect?Your office? My gate Accommodation? My gate house Salary? Who will pay you after giving you free accommodation for you and your twenty under-aged wives. Abegi. If you quote me again, it means you are desperate for the job, and you really want it. #ChildNotBride

Professor Ishaq Akintola,Ewhooo!! So this is how shallow people's thinking can become due to religious blinkers! Even a professor does not know the Bible was originally written in Greek, Aramaic, Latin and other ancient languages? Translation to English only took place in modern times when King James ruled in England. That is why the earliest English translation of the Bible is called The King James Version. Obviously the lazy Professor never bother to find out why. In modern Nigeria, where English is already lingua franca, most Yorubas own and understood the Bible first from the Yoruba translation. Most never even bothered about the English translation. Even till today, in Catholic church, the liturgy and mass is delivered in Latin by the Pope and other purists. All you need do is tune to CNN when the Pope is conducting Mass or delivering his annual Orbi et Orbi in Rome. Even infants know this. Just one key question. Did this Prof study books written in Arabic or English to gain his degrees and professorship? So he is proposing that English language in all those books on his bookshelf should be replaced with Arabic. This would have been a very laughable, if not for the sorry stupidity in it. I think there is a very lucrative business brewing. I better go purchase translation software and set up printing press fast. Because the way things are going in Nigeria these days, there is no smoke without fire. El-Rufai and Junaid Mohammed may actually be instigating these things, and before you know it Buhari will buy the idea, then things will start happening. |
Oshiomole again? These days he seems to always be in the news for all the wrong reasons. Since he married that yellow sisi from wherever, he seems to have lost his senses. Is this the same Oshiomole as NLC president who battled the then President Obasanjo to a standstill, especially in those dark days where assassinations was a normal tool in OBJ's hands to arm twist opponents? |
