thoniann: I JUST TOLD MY WIFE I WAS REMOVING THE SUBSIDY ON THE FUEL WE PURCHASE DAILY AND THAT MEANS LESS LITRES AND LIMITED HOURS TO WATCH BIG BROTHER AFRICA. DO You Know What She Did? she Called Dstv to block SUPER SPORTS 3. she Was Able To Do That Because its registered in her name. IMAGINE my frustration.Bro. Kindly imprint your fingers and palm on her cheeks. That will teach her not to mess with football (just kidding! Pls don't do that. Just give her a punch instead). |
The Presidency is looking for a fall guy and i can assure you that they won't get it in Farouk Lawan. PDP/Presidency is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria. |
newken: We want the aliance. Bring prof. Pat Utomi into the party and field him against Jonathan come 2015. Buhari should be vice president.seconded. Buhari shouldn't bother contesting, he should only give us someone like him. We are tired of PDP. |
Billyonaire: Thanks, I will make it a portal for 11yrs Prophesy.ensure you do. You never can tell. You may find it handy. |
Billyonaire: So what does PM news say today, so I can plan my action 11 yrs from now.go grab your copy of their newspaper today or simply visit their website http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com |
After the terrorists attack on America in 2001, i walked past a newspaper stand and i saw PM Newspaper with the headline 'Osama to visit Nigeria soon'. I laughed. Then i asked myself, what is Osama's business with Nigeria? Nothing! I then went on to dismiss the news with the wave of a hand and i labeled PM News pathetic liars. 11 years after, it seems that piece of news is true. Nigeria is fast becoming a failed state. |
Mr. Globe: |
Mr. Globe:what work has been done for me? Whats my business with the identities of users on any anonymous site? if you say im dull, that may be true or false. But i know im more intelligent than you are. If you can't provide concrete proof, you too remain silent. |
freshmoney: Beaf, keep logging off and on. Keep scanning through Nairaland with your multiple IDs. The fact is you are a PDP thief!you need not keep logging in and out to use multiple ids. That is strenous na.. Technology has made life easier. All you need do is- open an id on mozilla then open another id on internet explorer and use the two or more browsers simultaneously. @ freshmoney, i dont think he his beaf. Why will he do that? That would be stupidity on his part. @beaf, try to be civil, you need not resort to uncouth language. Provide the evidence and if you can't remain silent. |
For those condemning and supporting Hon. Lawan, save your words till he his proven guilty. This was the same thing Al-Mustapha did. He claimed that he had video evidence of yoruba elders selling Abiola out by collecting bribe. The video he provided only showed them coming out of government house and not of them receiving money. At the end, he just made a fool of himself. Hon. Lawan is INNOCENT until his accusers can provide evidence of him collecting bribe. Chikena.... |
And if this is true, PDP is the bastard destroying this country. |
Before i believe these allegations his accusers should just provide the evidence (marked notes, audio recordings, video and pictures). Until then, they should please shut up! |
Jakumo: Failed runway lights would prevent landings, but aircraft could still take off under the illumination of their own multiple high-intensity floodlights.Very true. While driving on road at night, you have an idea of the track courtesy of your headlamp but when you're airborne and approaching the runway, you need the runway lights to help you navigate your way to enable you land. |
We thought you were Nigeria's problems and that Nigeria was going to be better without you but you have proved us wrong, thanks to our bloody civilians (thieving politicians). All the same, we thank God for taking you from us. Rest in peace or pieces according to the work of your hand. |
Megabyts: and they can killi people and eat their raw meat especially hausa/fulani breed.they don't. It's dog meat the berom people eat not human flesh. The hausa/fulani are not berom people. |
dnklojang: This whole thing is a set up. The hand writing is clear on the wall. Come 2 think of it Jack Bot a xtian connaiving wt his moslem orderly 2 trade in arms 2 who?! Is it 2 xtians or moslems in Jos as claimed by their Boko Haram comptroller general. Believe it or not Mr Bot is a victim of Boko Boys in d Security Circle pls.what do you mean? Don't you have both muslim and christian friends? It is only ordinary and myopic people that prefer not to associate with people of a different religion or tribe just because they are not from the same part of the country and don't worship their God's in the same place. Politicians and businessmen look further than that. They only look for what can promote their business interests. By so doing, they put tribe and religion aside. Why do you think they keep getting richer? You better release yourself to see the opportunities that come your way in this form which you refuse to see and seize. I didn't say you should get involved in evil and shady deals like Bot has done. |
bayooooooo: Jack Bot? That does not sound Nigerian.when you hear bot, pam, gyang, jang, jung, dungs.... e.t.c they are from Plateau state, Jos . They have got very pretty girls (you didn't hear that from me o..)and the people are very accomodating. |
Kobojunkie: Prosecute, Jail but do not kill them yet. It is my turn to get my share of the Nigerian loot, so do not dare change the rules now.ole! You'll be the first to chop Bin Buhari's koboko not kobojunkie. LoL.. |
honeric01: Who's like him?what do you mean? There are still upright people like him in Nigeria. He will never recommend a corrupt person. |
unclenna: That's y he will nt rule nigeria...the man is the Indiamine of Nigeria.if you, your family and friends are upright and not corrupt, then you have nothing to fear. |
Bin Buhari has spoken the truth and nothing but the truth. We need someone that can sanitise Nigeria. Why do you think Fashola is making raves in Lagos. How i wish we can change our system of governance to COMMUNISM, after ridding Nigeria of corrupt individuals then we revert back to DEMOCRACY. Bin Buhari, you have spoken the truth but don't contest in 2015 o... Give us someone like you. We really need a revolution in Nigeria. |
If she is trying to cut costs for Ebonyi State by taking Keke Napep instead of SUV's that cost alot of tax payers money, i'll call that honourable but Drunkeness, i find that hard to comprehend. Well what men can do (both positive & negative things), women seem to be doing it better these days. |
If this allegation about this female lawmaker is true, then this is really dishonourable. |
Lawmakers at the Ebonyi State House of Assembly yesterday suspended one of their colleagues, MRS. Lillian Igwe, over alleged drunkenness. The House also ordered its former Speaker, Ikechukwu Nwankwo, to refund N105 million he allegedly misappropriated while in office, following a report by its ad hoc committee, which probed Nwankwo’s tenure. However, sensing a brewing crisis in the House, Governor Martin Elechi yesterday invited the lawmakers for a late-night meeting to resolve the matters. Moving the motion to suspend Igwe (PDP, Ivo), the member resenting Afikpo South East State Constituency, Blasé Orji, alleged that she was seen on several occasions drinking herself into a state of stupor and vomiting on herself, “thereby bringing the House to ridicule and disrepute”. “Mr. Speaker, Honourable members, the House has been brought to ridicule by the member representing Ivo State Constituency Hon. Lillian Igwe. She does not only engage in excessive alcoholic drinking, she also boards tricycles popularly called KEKE NAPEP to the House, thereby not carrying herself as an honourable member. Mr. Speaker based on this therefore, I move a motion that Hon Lillian Igwe be suspended from the House,” Oji moved. Christian Ursulor, (PDP, Ezza South) seconding the motion. After taking contributions from other members of the House, the Speaker, Chukwuma Nwazunku, put the motion to question and it was unanimously adopted. But Igwe, a lawyer, who was absent from the plenary told reporters that there was no truth in the allegations, stressing that “only the members’ imaginations played out the petty behaviour they accused me of.” The refund order on the former speaker followed the submission of the report by the seven-man ad-hoc committee set up by the House to probe financial transactions under Nwankwo, spanning from June 7 to December 20, 2011. Submitting the report, the committee’s chairman, Odefa Obasi Odefa, disclosed how the committee discovered that the former Speaker, “embezzled over N28 million out of the N30 million given to the House as take-off grant; N3 million as out-of-pocket allowance from N15 million given to the House for renovation of the house chambers; N25 million meant for wardrobe allowance of House members; N5 million for procurement of drugs for the House and N7 million for installation of satellite dishes for the offices of the members”. The committee also accused the erstwhile Speaker, who was impeached last year on grounds of misappropriation of funds belonging to the House, of “diverting N15 million from the Assembly’s accounts as legal fees; N5 million for non-accident bonus; N10 million for production of the House journal and another N32 million as out-of-pocket allowances as well as purchasing a 33KVA generator with the N3 million released to him for insurance cover for members’ cars. After the report was submitted, the House dissolved into a committee of the whole. And after extensive deliberations, it resolved that the impeached Speaker alongside the suspended Accountant of the House, Martins Ibenyi, be asked to refund the money. They have the skill, expertise, equipment and they are never bias (they will never sweep anything under the carpet). For that reason, they are welcome jare... It seems we can't do anything on our own properly in this country. How i wish it's possible, i will bring foreigners into Nigeria to govern us. |
We all know GEJ is the one that has brought this hate upon himself but that doesn't mean we should lay every blame at his doorstep. He has done what is required of him as the President by visiting the site of the crash. Forget Abati and forget the tweets. Its a sad period and everyone is mourning. |
I guess you may be having a change of mind now? Don't panic. You should still pursue your dreams and when you finally become an air hostess, ensure you don't fly on a plane that has an history like that of Dana that crashed yesterday. And if you find yourself on a plane like that and you aren't comfortable with it, feign illness or collapse shortly before take off. |
Are we deliberating this? Automatically, the airline should be suspended pending investigation. |
ememonl: So what do you want him to do? biuld power stations to meet Nigerias power needs over night, go on the road with an anti bokoharam tester, and shoot any one who tests positive to bokoharam huh. These regime is working, just that it is not blowing its trumpet, check fertilizers which are neccessary to grow your food, check work going on at airports and aviation generally, check commencement of industrialization and processing of agric products etc. The question now is, what are you doing?im not your President so i can't provide electricity, security, water, affordable healthcare for Nigerians because i don't have Federal Government resources and might. I am a patriotic citizen of Nigeria so therefore, i don't steal and cheat wherever i find myself. Im considerate about other Nigerians and so therefore, i don't put my interests above others. I try to help in my little ways. I can't say of you. |
He regime isn't the worst for now but in little or no time, he may end up being the worst. I read the book - WHY WE STRUCK (story of the first Nigerian coup). It was written and i quote- Nzeogwu and i had dubbed Ironsi's government, ''the do nothing government.'' He was really afraid to move his feet. He therefore dragged and dragged his feet instead of moving them. Therefore he clasped and clasped them instead of lifting them - Adewale Ademoyega, 1981. From what was written above im forced to liken Yar adua and GEJ's govt. to Ironsi's government. But what about Gowon, IBB, Abacha, Obasanjo & Yar' adua's regime? They all didn't take Nigeria to the promised land. Corruption characterized IBB's govt., Dictatorship characterized Abacha's govt., Disrespect for the rule of law characterized Obasanjo's govt., Slow to action characterized Yar adua's govt., and what characterized Yar adua's govt., has continued and has reached unbelievable heights under GEJ including corruption and disrepect for the rule of law. GEJ's actions and inactions seem not to be in the best interest of ordinary Nigerians and he his fast losing the goodwill he enjoyed from them. If he continues in this manner, then his regime may end up being the worst. |
153 passengers = at least 306 passengers = at least 1530 friends thrown into mourning. This is really disheartning. |
