it surprises me that you support criminality. In as much as we must try everything possible to reclaim bakassi, we musn't leave these militants who are only fighting for their pockets roam around unchecked. In this case he kidnapped innocent people so why shouldn't he be declared wanted?

And to think that banks will force the N5000 note into our hands with the excuse of not having lower denomination notes thereby causing unintended expenditure is scary.

But again, these so called ex-militants are useless. They are getting paid that much and oil bunkering, smuggling, kidnapping, piracy still goes on unabated in ND. Since the FG is presently negotiating with Boko Haram, a few billions too will be given to them to shut them up. Shebi its our (nigerians) money? Give it to them and when it finishes, we will now be staring at each others empty palms.

Their so called merger before the 2011 general elections collapsed because there wasn't ample time to sort out their differences but now till 2015 is still a long time to iron out their issues/differences before the next general elections.

I don't understand why Nigeria being the most religious (at least 2 or more churches/mosque are situated in almost every street) nation in the world still manage to produce all forms of criminal minded beings. Yes we all need prayers but effort has to match the prayers for effectiveness. God has given us eyes to see the failings around us; therefore, our leaders should put more effort into remedying these failings other than paying lip service and putting half hearted efforts to issues that concern this nation.

Where is the opposition? They better start preparing themselves for 2015. Even if the proposed merger by ACN/CPC fails; PDP will meet we neutral Nigerians at the polling booth in 2015. We are sick and tired of them.

When LASG demolished the slum in Makoko some dwellers there condemned the action of the State Government. If the demolition wasn't carried out now this will most likely be their lot sooner or later.

Women who strive to take care of their homes are real women. Kudos to these women who will rather hit the streets hustling than sit at home and gossip about their neighbours pot of soup.

Some are complaining that despite how poor some Nigerians are they will still make phone calls (the truth is that we can't all do without calling some people) but do you realize that just a phone call can change your life? It suprises me that Nigerians have refused to see the big picture. Our population has its economic advantage but alas, bad leaders & poor leadership hasn't made us fulfill our potentials. Nigeria has a ready market and what you need do is find a need and fill it like all these network providers have done and you will be smiling all the way to the bank.

We've been experiencing almost 24 hrs of uninterrupted power supply in my area (kudos to them for that) but we shouldn't forget that there were periods under Obasanjo & Yar adua's tenure that we also experienced uninterrupted power supply but not more than 2 months at a stretch. Until this goes on for a straight 6 months, that is when we will acknowledge that the current administration has done what hasn't been done in the history of Nigeria.

We may not even need an ACN/CPC merger to unseat PDP. Thank God this present PDP administration is not even helping the party's fortunes with its actions and inactions. Nigerians are now aware and conscious of the damage PDP has done to Nigeria and the suffering they have imposed on Nigerians. If you don't know, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER! PDP should start preparing its will, go ahead to purchase a casket and dig 6ft below. Then go home to await its death.

I don't care if this merger fails. We will keep pushing till we push out the real enemies of Nigeria who claim to be the only uniting political party in Nigeria (pure bullshit). If they have truly united us; why is there boko haram, why is fulani and berom at each others throats?

then can you tell us with real facts to convince us that PDP has taken us to the promised land or even close to taking us considering the enormous wealth we have and the money that has been spent from 1999 till date. If you don't know, Nigeria (under PDP's leadership) is the 14th most failed state in the world.

Some people label Tinubu a thief and Buhari a Terrorist;but do you realize that PDP has a full house of thieves and terrorists (check the list of those accused of looting and sponsoring terrorism). 13 years of PDP's rule and Nigeria has been ground to a halt (no meaningful development in all areas of life). I don't care if the merger fails; what i care about is PDP loosing its hold on Nigeria and dying a cruel death.

I remember when i was in primary school (staff school); i sneaked out, went to unilag lagoon front and i swam all day (naughty me). Anytime i see these kids, it makes me happy. So if its true, i pray they survive the ordeal unscathed.

Even If IBB denounces Boko haram as requested by Clark, will that stop the bombings- NO. Nigerians have handed all the powers in Nigeria to Mr. Jonathan what else is stopping him from ending this menace? He claims he knows them then why can't he name them?
