So I have been a WEMA Alat customer for quite some time now, I decided to start using their account sometime last year after a bad experience with Access, so I moved to Wema Alat, it started great at first, I had a few troubles signing up but I was eventually successful, I funded and requested for a card and it was delivered after 4 days, I was impressed by the features it offered, I never had to go to the bank to get anything done, I could do almost everything from my app.

As someone who does a lot of international transactions, it's dollar virtual card option was pure gold, until around late March when I went to see someone and lost my card while on my way back, I was not fazed as I totally trusted Alat to deliver a new card, so I requested for another card, I was debited instantly, and was shown a pop-up saying my card will be delivered within 3 working days, I waited and waited, but it never came, in fact, on the third day, I had to cancel some appointments because I was trying not to miss my Alat card delivery, brethren, as I type this, my card has still not been delivered, so many calls to its customer care, so many messages on her social media pages, but there was absolutely nothing concrete except pleadings.

I worked majorly online during the lockdown, so I needed to pay for things sometimes, but Alat failed me, the virtual card option suddenly stopped working, I was totally stranded, had money in my account, but couldn't withdraw cos I don't have a card everytime, I have to borrow people's cards to withdraw, or make payments, at one point I felt people started thinking I was into shady deals as they started being reluctant on releasing their cards to me, it was really very embarrassing and slowed down my job a lot, every single time I go to the social media handles of this bank, all I see in the comments are complaints from angry customers, and to top it all, Facebook always makes sure every Alat post is the first on my news feed, so it was like impossible to not see their posts.

I have moved back to my access bank, and so far, I have not encountered major issues for now, but Alat has taken my money for card, and I want my money back or they deliver my card.

Late Mr. Rinji Peter Bala became Nigeria's social sphere's number one trending topic a few days ago after he was shot and killed by men of the Nigerian Army under the umbrella of Operation Safe Haven.

Nigerians came out to express their displeasure over the death of the young man and called for justice for the deceased.

On Saturday, a candlelight procession was held in honor of the 20-year-old, at his residence in Hwolshe community, Jos south local government area of Plateau state, with men, women, youths, and children coming out in their numbers to mourn the late Rinji Peter Bala, they all prayed for the repose of his soul. In his address, Mr. Peter Bala, father of the deceased declared that he has forgiven the perpetrators of the act, which led to the demise of his only son and also pleaded with the peace-loving people of Plateau state to shun the planned protest and please adhere to all government's regulations, please stay home and stay safe.

The residents of Hwolshe community have come out en mass to register their displeasure on the recent killing of one of their own, 20-year-old Rinji Peter Bala alias Bobo, who was shot by men of the Operation Safe Haven in the state.

The residents came out bearing placards with inscriptions declaring that Rinji was never a thief. Speaking to an uncle of the deceased, who spoke on behalf of the father who declined speaking over the death of his only Son, said the family has been sad and the atmosphere has been gloomy.

Some of the residents who witnessed the incident shared the story.

Former Edo State Governor, Labor President and National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress, has denied going abroad for medical treatments. In an interview with channels tv, the 68-year-old, said "Wrong", when pressed on if he seeks treatment abroad.

If you want to see real tribalism in politics, Plateau State is the ultimate location, they will rather die than allow a Berom man rule.

No sir, that election was one of the greatest scams I've ever witnessed in my life, the rigging i witnessed was crazy, everyone was entitled to as much ballot papers as he wanted, there was absolutely no way Lalong was winning in a place like Barkin ladi where we have many Beroms, absolutely no way, I belong to many grassroots Plateau groups with thousands of Plateau people, everyone was thanking and commending the beroms after the elections, even Lalong knows he can't win a Berom LGA, not possible.

the best way to handle a credible election is electronically, and it should be sent immediately to a central database, in my opinion, the government should just reach an agreement with banks to reconfigure their ATM machines if possible, for 1 day, anyone can vote from anywhere, the cues to vote will be greatly reduced and everything will be faster, there should also be tight security at the banks with CCTV working very well.
